Before: "I've wanted a rematch with Tahnee for a long time," admits Blake, "but to be honest, she wasn't in a good enough place to really consider until now. She's gotten Kate out of the way, and now I’m ready to take my titles back, and to do so at her expense, that just makes it better." Tahnee confident about her chances, to say the least. "I know she’s got this stealthy great beach record, but I match up really well with her. She'll be the favourite until I hurt her, then it's my fight. And we’ve already seen what happens when she and I fight my kind of fight"

Ringpost-in-sand setup. Neither fighter wearing a robe on entrance. Blake enters in her red “Betty Buzz” high-waisted bikini, matching gloves, hair in twin messy ponys. Tahnee enters with the Queen of the beach sash and tiara over a pink triangle-cut bikini, white gloves, hair wetted and slicked back. Both fighters barefoot in the sand.

R1: Blake stalks out, snapping the left hook, bending into slinging rights; rocks Tahnee’s pretty head to the side with a clanging right cross to end a hot exchange at mid-ring. Lively measuring her with lefts, then drives an overhand rights to Atkinson’s left eye! Hurt, Tahnee keeps her composure and in the final minute, starts to time Blake’s right, slipping and answering with spanking hooks to champ waist. It ends as a big Lively round, although she appears bothered by Atkinson’s expectedly effective body work; already wincing as she heads to her stool.

R2: Ana in the corner telling Blake, "Get on her body,” - and she does; slamming whiparmed hooks under the elbows to buckle Tahnee’s sturdy legs early, forcing her to cover up. Atkinson keeps up a furious punch rate, slamming right hands to ribs; twisting her hips into a spanking left hook that shakes Lively and sends shockwaves through her glutes! BLAKE IS HURT! Crowd rises to their feet as, cringing, elbows tucked in, face frozen in pain, Lively rope-a-dope’s; letting Atkinson hammer away with both hands! Hurt to the body, Blake keeps her left high, the straight jab keeping Tahnee at bay while her right hovers protectively in front of her bosom, glove shielding her left breast. Lively tries to come forward, but Atkinson’s stubby jab proves effective as she walks blonde into a series of hard rights, pushing her back onto the ropes where Tahnee then rips away; snapping three or four punch; short, quick, combinations. Frustrated, Lively gets wild, swinging off the ropes, Atkinson ducking, bobbing and slipping punches, then countering with her expected efficiency. End of the round: Blake battered consistently and is beginning to show the strain of frustration. Lively’s golden body has a ruddy glow from Atkinson’s punches while the Queen face wears the flushed hue of exertion; breathing harder than her challenger, but landing more and harder punches so far.

R3: Blake wary, flicking her left to keep Tahnee at arms length; Aussie trudging forward, left pawing; right cocked; hoping to end Lively’s day! Atkinson misses an overhand right but catches ribs with a solid left hook. Follow-on sweeping right misses just over Blake’s head as she ducks just in time. Off balance, Tahnee stumbles forward, her right arm dropping limp on Lively’s left shoulder. Blake turns her hips into a sweet, low, right hook - well below Tahnee’s belly button - and the Queen spits out her mouthpiece as she folds forward into Lively’s arms. Two lefts to the kidney have Atkinson gasping as she staggers back to the ropes; arms up; elbows in. It’s time for Tahnee to set up on the ropes and let Blake punch; countering infrequently with short chopping rights or left uppercuts; then shoving blonde’s shoulders back. Lively pattycakes Atkinson’s breasts; dances away; and when Aussie doesn’t pursue, eases back in, slips a swinging left to plow a right to Tahnee lower body. Nothing in the final minute from Atkinson; Lively sets up shop in front of her to hammer and tong forearms, biceps or cuff her ears while the champ ducks, bobs and weaves to avoid direct contact. The final minute sees Blake coming on like gangbusters; ripping uppercuts between Tahnee’s elbows to jerk her head up; pounding straight to her exposed and vulnerable chest! Even after the bell, Lively keeps punching - landing two devastating punches before ref tackles her off.

R4: Tahnee not yet back; Blake only partway recovered from her exhausting punching; both women flat-footed, trading heavy-handed slugging midring. Atkinson pushing Lively's shoulders back for some big woman, supple, trading to the body, head. Blake when she can, goes back to Tahnee’s well-stocked bra with hard-hearted determination. Atkinson grunting as her cups get pancaked; answering in kind when Lively's rack is available, working towhead abs when it's not. Down the stretch, Tahnee gets a little 'jug-happy' and it costs her! Blake able to slip a booming right cross clean to chin that leaves Atkinson rubbery-legged and jelly-gluted! Lively using her long, strong, legs, digging her toes into the sand and pushing Tahnee back to ropes where she 'opens up to clean up' - but being a tad more conservative; more energy-conservation aware than when she'd had the same opportunity in the prior round. Atkinson riding out the storm and after the bell, it's Lively who gives Aussie's rump a firm, open-handed, SPLAT as she takes back-to-back rounds!

R5: Tahnee gutty, but grounded; still sluggish with hurt but all heart. Atkinson pushing herself on Lively, fighting sleepily on the inside; using her fists to bash blonde body; bringing her punches sweeping across Blake's chest, landing the odd elbow every so often. Lively looking more alert willingly accepting Atkinson into her clinches, trying to steer her as the fight meanders around the ring, pushing off to jab-jab-jab Tahnee’s back into the ropes. Both women working hard this round, not much to choose but Atkinson's the one dictating the action for the points. Tahnee’s turn to send Blake off with a butt slapping, neither contender willing to concede any advantage over the other!

R6: Tahnee reaching in to wrap Blake up, then chests her back to the ropes where she gives the challenger a little payback 'rub 'n' scrub' of her own breasts before she pushes off to get down to the serious work of doing some 'blonde destruction.' Lively covered up all loose and forlorn, takes a withering beating in the body; getting occasionally lit up by uppercuts that snap her body upright. She's blinking, shaking her head and getting busted up - but she's remaining upright on pride alone as Atkinson comes all the way back to finally draw even on the score cards. At the bell it's another bottom spank from Tahnee who makes her point emphatically! Taylor Swift joins Ana in Blake's corner in time to give her girl a quick kiss "for luck" just before the bell.

R7: Blake lavishes the hips/flanks of her foe supple, lashing wallops, Tahnee inching forward; blonde gives ground in good order, walking Atkinson onto looping breast&belly shots - both arms lashing up and in - then sidesteps at ropes and is gone. Tahnee turns, eats jabs: she raises her hands in confusion, eats a spearing right angled down into her sternum. Blake luring Atkinson forward, taxing her body: Midway through, Blake steps FORWARD, going at breadbasket with short, clubbing lefts and rights - switching her shoulders side to side to pound 'em home. Lively biting at tight Atkinson belly-meat: Queen driven ropeside with pained expression. Chickenwinged left elbow props Tahnee up: right uppercut clips her chin, Blake arching her back as she’s getting the shot off her right leg. Atkinson reaching to clinch: Lively presses left shoulder&elbow against her body, stacking her back into ropes. More gouging body shots to Tahnee’s waist; extra right uppercuts scrape her face, She’s being pasted! Blake in there all rough and rangy - stacking Atkinson up, going at her body, then ripping for chin...sterling work beating Queen drowsy. TAHNEE TAKES A KNEE! No one punch does it, Atkinson just taking a thrashing, elects to ease herself down, breathing hot through pursed lips as seething Lively backs off. Blake mixes class with hard work to pull ahead on the cards, winning a key 10-8 seventh.

R8: Blake mouth-breathing, flat footed after last round, she's exhausted; Tahnee's a battered wreck...girls fall together and start sloppin'! Fighters pushing at each other's biceps, grimly slugging at close quarters with brawling right hands while holding each other lefty. Fight stumbles about as one or the other is pasted, only to come back mindlessly at her tormentress. Weird combination of exhausted bodies and brutal slobberknocking, neither girl fighting her best fight here. Tahnee grimly pounding out the points...she's starting to push Blake around, getting a little big on her, landing drifting right hands across the face to put blonde wobbly-butt by the bell.

R9: Reeling beauties stumble together, sorting each other out with groggy pushes, then pasting in wallop with either hand. Blake throwing her hands up to knock Tahnee's arms into the air, then delivering a blatantly illegal axehandle with both hands to the crown of Atkinson’s skull! Cry of pain from Tahnee, she stumbles back into ropes with elbows tight against her body, hands limp out front. Ensuing siege doesn't go Blake's way though: Atkinson mindlessly slugging through it, answering tit for tat...finally clinching her blonde, muscling her into ropes and slopping her right hands to the body out of the left-arm wrap! Lively stumbling out of the wrap, righting herself...stumbling again...she gradually closes in on Tahnee, electing to hack at golden torso with carving punches licked in under either breast. Atkinson bleating in simple-minded agony, legs trembling - she punches back straight left/right/left directly between Lively's breasts, stopping blonde assault. Back and forth, Blake trying to regain the initiative by coming forward, moving her hands: both fighters groggy with hurt, backing each other up, forehead to forehead with faces smeared with sweat-stringy hair. Midway through, Tahnee sets weight on front leg, clips Blake a hook juuuust inside blonde's wide right...LIVELY GOES DOWN! Heavy splash-down to her back, Blake’s head lolling side to side, lips murmuring...SHE'S DONE! Lively can't get off her back - KO9 for the winner and STILL Queen of the Beach, Tahnee Atkinson!

After: A degloved Tahnee wastes no time pushing her way through to haul a Blake to her feet. Atkinson REVELING in her triumph, hugging Lively close strong right arm around the waist as she pulls the blonde’s bra clear. Tahnee leisurely, waving to her fans, taking her time, then tossing Blake’s bra to join the others on the shoreline, before slowly folding Lively's face into her breasts. Poor Blake held fast, stooped forward, Tahnee gets comfy against the turnbuckles. Lively's hands protest feebly against Atkinson’s hips, pushing against the belly, reaching round the back to ride helplessly on the hips, occasionally curling up to pull at Tahnee’s strong shoulders from behind. Atkinson adjusting her grip, she's easy and relaxed as she leans back in the corner, letting her jugs do the work. 2024 has been Tahnee’s year so far, and Blake is just the latest to find out!
