Mandy Capristo vs Asuka Kuramochi
(Lioness Club vs Front Street Japan)
(16-12, 16 KO vs 6-2, 4 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: Mandy Capristo wants to prove she's more than just a gatekeeper even if her win over the struggling Perrie Edwards didn't exactly made front page news and she's up for a tricky challenge in Cardiff tonight as Asuka Kuramochi has come over from Japan to contest a mini-boxing tour amid rumours Ayako Hamada has lined up a couple of other opponents regardless of the actual results: "This is not one & done visit here. We have serious plans for Asuka and it's up to her to show everyone she can upset some of the established European order."

Mandy Capristo wears a golden bikini top, micro jeans shorts & red gloves. Long brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Asuka Kuramochi wears a black bikini set & silver gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls trade quick punches in the early stages hoping to secure immediate breakthrough but it's easier said than done and Asuka simply overruns the Lioness plan A by thumping hard leather straight into Mandy's face which leaves coach Mel B. more than animated once she realizes the Japanese tourist came her to play after all. Asuka notices how she can split the German's defense and continues to deliver the aerial attack until she backs Capristo onto the ropes and shuts her down behind a tight earmuff to run away with the opening round. Mandy barks in anger after Mel tells her to remember what they talked about before the fight but it appears they might have underscored Asuka's aggression value anyway.

Round 2:
More quick jabbing from Asuka who begins to take over the fight as she pierces Mandy's high guard without much resistance yet the German is more suited to thrive on her aggression - if only she found her match today! Both girls are detemined to prove their upside and there's probably more pressure on Capristo; she manages to even the numbers come the second minute and avoids getting bounced onto the ropes while Kuramochi runs out of steam a little and eats a sudden uppercut flurry on the chin which allows Mandy to dominate the final stretch but she just misses out on the big haymaker punch in the end.

Round 3:
Mandy gets more aggressive and catches the Japanese tourist with a body assault that FSJ manager Ayako Hamada didn't quite see coming either. Most of these Asian fighters can be punished downstairs but Mandy has to add the power factor to break her opponent's resilience - and she gets dragged into a clinching stalemate instead. Ref manages to separate the girls a couple of times before Kuramochi shows some quick footwork to bail out of close range and leave the German singer visibly frustrated by the fruitless chase in the closing stretch. Cue in some verbal darts after the bell too...

Round 4:
Asuka gets more aggressive again and delivers a couple of hard shots into the singer's face before looping a right cross on the nose that stuns Mandy onto her heels. She tries to swing back from there but misses the target and has Asuka blasting her up the middle instead. Ugh! Mandy wants to spin out of the range but only eats another hard hook on the chin and slumps into immediate spasms while Asuka jumps on the trigger-happy assault that drives the cumbersome German back to the ropes. The Japanese attack continues until Asuka completely dissects the high-guard and whacks the ailing Mandy on the swollen face before she manages to spill some blood from her nose to leave the German almost sobbing at the bell. Uh-oh!! Coach Mel B. looks extremely worried but there's not much she can do when...

Round 5:
...Asuka resumes the head-hunting blast that quickly spills more red paint from Mandy's damaged nostrils. The German singer tries to swing back and connects with a couple of shots but Kuramochi is very much in the zone now and she bullies the fellow brunette onto the ropes where she lands more cruel punches on the nose to make Capristo cry out in pain... and she gets thumped with another brutal right hook on the nose to COLLAPSE INTO A SOBBING MESS just past the one-minute mark. Ugh! Ref gives her a long look and proceeds with the count alas Mandy is left sitting on the canvas with no intentions of getting back again. She has been knocked out!!! KO5 Asuka Kuramochi!!!

AFTER: Front Street Japan really needed this victory and Ayako Hamada claims Asuka is ready to continue her European tour by facing another singer Inna next month: "We might have overvalued our stock with the Ivana Baquero fight but this was only a temporary setback. It's about time BBU had a Japanese champion again and Asuka is our best shot right now!"

Official Result: Asuka Kuramochi def. Mandy Capristo KO5.
