MODEL MAYHEM AT THE ASYLUM IV: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL

BEFORE:

"Glad to be back at Asylum," says Ashley with a smile. "Didn't quite close the deal here last time. But, this time? It's going to be different."

"She's a challenge," Chloe admits. "But, if there's one thing I'm ALWAYS up for, it's a challenge!"

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Honestly' by Hot Chelle Rae, and here comes the star of that video, blonde beauty Ashley Benson of PLP!"

McCarthy: "And, would you look at this? She actually HAS FCBA wins!"

O'Dell: "Does, indeed, and, she's not lacking confidence, taking into account her pre-fight interview and the way she's walking to the ring. Ashley climbs through the ropes and is helped off with the robe to reveal a mauve number that has the crowd showing it's appreciation. And, that's..."

Tess: "Horrible. Awful. An assault on Mac's olfaction..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell (sighing): "That's 'Uh Oh' and that can only mean that the singer of that tune, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet, is on her way to the ring."

Cassie: "Bennet right in the bantamweight title picture, and she's looking to get a shot to reclaim the straps."

O'Dell: "Chole into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that blue number she prefers. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Benson's a real fighter. Ashley!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. Blonde getting a little aggressive early, and no surprise there after what we've seen from Ashley in the past. She's not afraid to get after girls, especially girls she's not likely to outbox like Chloe, and that's what she's doing."

McCarthy: "I remember her dropping K-Stew in the first round in this very ring..."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she did. Chloe willing to fight on these terms, and the result is not exactly hammer and tongs, but some sharp exchanges of fire at middle distances and then some close in work that involves hooking to the body..."

Tess: "Lots of hard shot being traded."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. We're coming down the stretch now, and it's been a good, two-way round between blonde and brunette. Good right hand there by Ashley backs Chloe up a spot, and there's the bell. Close to Benson."

Cassie: "And, Ashley grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Benson getting backed up early in the second. Bennet's finding the range with that left jab, following on with hard right hands, getting Ashley on the back foot and keeping her there. Benson countering in spots, but that's about it..."

Cassie: "Chloe getting to fighting lead here, and that's bad news for just about anyone..."

O'Dell: "Certainly has changed the complexion of this one. Bennet's putting punches together, scoring well with both hands. Benson, again, countering here and there, but can't manage to get much going on offense in this stanza..."

McCarthy: "Kid has to start holding canvas."

O'Dell: "Can't do it at the moment. Instead, Chloe continues to back up the blonde, scoring points with both hands. We're down to just ten seconds to go. Nice combination, Bennet, and there's the bell. No question. Chloe's round wide."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "More of the same from Bennet. She's locked in right now, and that's bad news for any opponent. She's got everything working at the moment, again reducing the blonde to the counter. Ashley's game here, but taking a thumping..."

McCarthy: "Kid's got to just set her feet and bang back..."

O'Dell: "Easier said than done right now. Bennet in firm control, and, we've seen this before. When she gets rolling like this, it's very difficult for any opponent. Ashley a solid right hand, but Chloe backs her up again with a combination..."

Tess: "Just clinical stuff right here. Clinical."

O'Dell: "Sure is. Twenty seconds to go in the round. NICE combination by Chloe backs up Ashley. Blonde covering up as the brunette lets the hands go and there's the bell. Again, no question about the points. Bennet wide."

Cassie: "And Chloe leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "More movement from Benson right now, and that might be the answer for the blonde. She's showing some lateral foot movement, and it's making things harder on Bennet. Brunette not able to line her up now, and that's allowing Ashley to get back in this thing..."

McCarthy: "Definitely able to hold her canvas..."

O'Dell: "SHARP exchange there and another and we're seeing a lot of stuff similar to the first round, when both blonde and brunette were successful. Ashley a good right hand in that exchange, actually backed Chloe up a step..."

Cassie: "Fans loving all the action..."

O'Dell: "And, they're being treated to plenty of it as we head down the stretch. Couple of flurries from both fighters as the final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Smiles and a glove tap as the ladies head back to their corners. Close. Benson."

Tess: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth underway and a GOOD right hand from Benson and there's another and Chloe looking buzzed now! The blonde lands a pair of bombs and she has the brunette wobbly! And, Ashley is all in, letting the hands go!"

McCarthy: "Now's the time to take her out of there!"

O'Dell: "That's EXACTLY what Benson is thinking as she sits down on her punches and backs up Chloe. Bennet pinned to the cables. Ashley hooking some body looking to bring down the guard, then going right back upstairs..."

Tess: "Really good stuff from Benson..."

O'Dell: "Ref looking in. Bennet jabbing back, but mostly playing defense, trying to run clock here. Ashley working more body, then landing a nice right hook and there's the bell. BIG round for Benson, who takes it wide."

Cassie: "And pulls in to the 48-47 lead at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Benson pushing forward and taking some heavy fire trying to do it! Bennet's got the legs back and she's TEEING OFF on the blonde! Ashley now in retreat. Benson not looking hurt, but she's getting forced back by the former champion..."

Cassie: "Chloe's got the range and she's calling in the artillery."

O'Dell: "And, it's coming in waves. Again, Benson reduced to the odd counter as Bennet fights lead, putting punches together, landing solid shot to both head and body. Blonde backing and covering, trying to find some space here..."

McCarthy: "Needs to move a little more..."

O'Dell: "And, she's realizing that, getting back to the lateral movement. Chloe matching footwork, getting that left on, landing solid rights behind it. Final ticks slipping off the clock, and there's the bell. Bennet wide in the sixth."

Tess: "And, we're even again, this time at 57."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh underway with Bennet pressuring. She's walking Benson down now behind that left hand. Chloe's really got it going at the moment, and Ashley's being forced into a retreat, albeit a fighting retreat, one where she's landing some counters..."

McCarthy: "Keep giving a little ground and look to walk this tomato can into something..."

O'Dell: "Won't be easy to do with a fighter as skilled as Bennet. Chloe, working that left hand very well right now. She's range-finding and then dropping that right and DROPPING ASHLEY! Oh, a NASTY straight right from Bennet and the blonde is DOWN!"

Tess: "That might do it..."

O'Dell: "Benson down on her back. Chloe moving quickly to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Benson rolling to her belly at six. Seven. Pushing to hands and knees at eight. Nine. Pushing up...TEN! It's OVER! Benson can't quite beat it and it's OVER and your winner by KO7 is 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

Cassie: "Heck of a fight, though. Heck of a fight!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, that was a tough fight in there..."

Chloe (nodding): "Knew it would be. Benson knows what she's doing. She can hit. She's athletic. Always going to be a tough out, but I got her out."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Chloe: "Always looking for an opportunity to get the gold back. Always."
