MODEL MAYHEM AT THE ASYLUM IV: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL

BEFORE:

"It's very simple," says Cara with a smile. "I'm better than she is."

"It's not quite as simple," says a hard-eyed Kennedy, "As Cara THINKS it is."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: " Back at ringside and that's 'I Want Candy' you hear behind us, and here comes the singer of the cover version of that tune, Cara Delevingne!"

McCarthy: "And, let me go on record right now as predicting a WIN for Cara tonight!"

O'Dell: "Blonde beauty into the ring and helped off with the robe. Crowd giving it up for Delevingne in that neon blue number we've seen before..."

Oh, the shark, babe

Has such teeth, dear...

McCarthy: "I will remain CALM..."

Cassie: "Tick. Tick. Tick."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Mack The Knife' by Bobby Darin you hear behind us, and that can only mean..."

McCarthy: "IT SHOULD ONLY MEAN THAT I, MAC THE KNIFE, JENNY MCCARTHY, THE GREATEST FIGHTING PLAYMATE OF ALL TIME IS COMING TO THE RING!"

Tess: "But, that's NOT what it means..."

McCarthy: "SHUT. UP. WAL. MARRRRRRRTTTTTTTT!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Drink up, boys, but keep your eye on the screen, because Kennedy 'Mac The Knife' McMann is coming to the ring."

McCarthy: "GIMMICK THIEF! I. WILL. SUUUEEEEEEEEEE!"

O'Dell: "McMann into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's getting quite the crowd reaction in that lavender number she likes..."

McCarthy: "SKINNY AND UGLY!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Annnnddd, it's about time for some picks. Tess likes Kennedy. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Fraud! Phony! Frony! Delevingne!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go and both blonde and redhead want to set up at range here and get their respective boxes on. No surprise, as both have shown they're plenty good on the gunnery platform. A little bit of feeling out going on right now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Cara will find a million holes in this FRAUD'S defense..."

O'Dell: "Definitely doing some probing now. As is Kennedy. Nobody committing to much of anything at the moment. Instead, it's jabbing, moving head, hands, and feet, looking for opportunities that might be there right now and in the future..."

Tess: "Both fighters scoring some..."

O'Dell: "Sure are. Landing the odd combination here and there. We're coming down the stretch in this one, and no one's really created any space here. Nice exchange there and Delevingne landed a solid right hand and there's the bell. Close. Cara."

Cassie: "And Delevingne takes the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "More of the same to start the second. Ladies both comfortable at range, and that's where they plan to stay, especially as both are having success on these terms. McMann working the left, looking to drop rights behind it..."

McCarthy: "I can't wait until Cara drops HER..."

O'Dell: "Delevingne showing a bit more foot movement, playing some angles now, holding her own with the redhead on these terms. SHARP exchange there, and McMann landed the best punch of the fight so far, but the blonde shakes it off..."

Cassie: "Wouldn't want to be eating too many of those, though..."

O'Dell: "Would not. Twenty seconds remaining in round number two, and, for the second frame in a row, not much in it. Cara jabbing, fires a right. Kennedy blocks, fires back, and there's the bell. Very close, but McMann takes the round."

Tess: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Pattern set now. Ladies set up at gunnery range and get the hands going and CARA LANDS A SOLID RIGHT HAND! Kennedy's BUZZED and the blonde's going all in right now trying to get the redhead out of there..."

McCarthy: "FINISH HER! FINISH HER!"

O'Dell: "Delevingne backing McMann across the ring, trapping her on the ropes, going body now. Kennedy tying up. Hanging on. Ref going to get in there and break them. Delevingne right back to work, head, body, head. McMann keeping the guard high, jabbing back more now..."

Tess: "Seems to have shaken the worst of it."

O'Dell: "May have. Redhead beginning to get over to the offensive now, working her way off the ropes. Ten seconds left in the third. Cara a SOLID right hand and there's the bell. No doubt about this one. Delevingne takes it wide."

Cassie: "And goes back into the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth underway. Ladies back on even terms after a big round from the blonde in the last frame and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND, MCMANN! Kennedy a LOVELY one-two, follows a jab with a SCINTILLATING right and Cara's in trouble!"

McCarthy: "Watch her, Ref! Watch for low blows!"

O'Dell: "McMann over to the offensive. She's backing Cara up with some heavy flurries. Delevingne now pinned to the cables where the redhead was in the last round. Kennedy digging a little body, but mostly working on top..."

Cassie: "Definitely trying to finish this thing..."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, but the blonde's playing some solid defense here, leaning back into the ropes, keeping the guard high, countering just enough to keep the referee at bay. Five seconds to go. Good right from Kennedy and there's the bell. McMann. Wide."

Tess: "And, we're even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "McMann coming forward, walking Cara down behind the left jab. Delevingne still a bit unsteady and Kennedy's taking full advantage of it. GOOD right hand by McMann there. That shook the blonde's knees and sent her backward a couple of steps..."

Tess: "Cara's in deep trouble here..."

O'Dell: "Kennedy clinical right now. Setting up those right hands. Backing the blonde up steadily and DROPPING HER WITH AN OVERHAND RIGHT! A BOOMING right from the redhead and DOWN GOES DELEVINGNE!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiigggghhhhtts. The party's ohhhhverrrrrr..."

McCarthy: "Shut up, Scabbo! Get up, you bum! Get up!"

O'Dell: "McMann to a neutral corner. Cara down on her right side, not moving at all. Count at three. Four. Five. This is going to be academic. Six. Seven. Eight. Still no movement from the blonde. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Delevingne is both down and out and it's OVER and your winner by KO5 is Kennedy 'Mac The Knife' McMann!"

McCarthy: "LUCKY! LUCKY PUNCH!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kennedy McMann, and, Kennedy, looked like you were determined to get her out of there in the fifth..."

Kennedy (nodding): "She's good and she's dangerous. You can't mess around with a girl like her. You get a chance to win the fight, you have to take advantage, and I did."

Tess: "What's next for you? Are you planning to keep working at both light and welter?"

Kennedy (smiling): "Absolutely. Might get my beach on, too. Who knows?"
