Intro:
A Manchester derby over the BBU flyweight title main events tonight's pay per view. Michelle Keegan looks to finish her story of redemption and claim her second world title. She has the tough task of dethroning one of the most dominate fighters in the past few years in Jorgie Porter. Who will return to Manchester with their pride and the belt?

The night before the contest both were front and center talking to the media in the hall. They were ushered to the back and then came out on the stage for the face off. Michelle wore a figure hugging black dress and matching heels. Jorgie wore a red dress and heels, the world title around her waist as they square up with scowls showing that while they are both manc girls, they don't like each other one bit.

There's no incidents as they separate when asked to. A podium is placed at the center of the stage as they pace slightly. Michelle is given the nod once it is set up to go speak her mind. She looks serious as she marches to the podium. Hands either side of it as she takes a breath.

"This has been a long time coming. I have been on this journey trying to get myself back into this spot for too long. Winning the Coronation Street tournament seems to have made people remember what I can do with boxing gloves on my hands. I am fitter then the other flyweights and a better fighter then them all" says Michelle. There's no lack of confidence in her speech.

She then turns her attention to Jorgie. She says "you Jorgie have stepped into my spot and I want it back. When I held that title I was a real star, you are just a minor league soap star that can't hack it outside your comfort zone. Once I pressure you in that ring, you are going to crumble." Smirking as she walks away from the podium with Jorgie staring daggers at her.

The champion gets her turn at the podium. She places the title on the podium telling Michelle "before you try to insult me. Remember all those defeats you've been suffering over the time I have made my rise to earn this belt. You are lucky I wanted to kick your arse and prove I am the best flyweight to come out of Manchester." Certainly not afraid to throw some verbal jabs of her own.

Jorgie then tells the press "this belt means the world to me. I have finally earned the respect of the masses and I feel great. This year I aim to cement myself as the greatest flyweight champion in the history of the BBU. I want to surpass the likes of Jenna Louise Coleman, Cheryl Cole and Diana Korkunova. That means continuing my run and Michelle will just be a footnote."

Michelle clearly irked by that steps up to Jorgie. A few words are exchanged before Michelle shoves Jorgie nearly out her heels. Jorgie pushes her back before security rushes to pull them apart. In the confusion Michelle grabs the title and holds it up. Telling Jorgie it is coming home with her. Jorgie grabs it and a BBU committee member rushes on to tell both not to play tug of war with the belt. Jorgie gets it back with a death stare aimed at her challenger. Both being ushered off stage before more trouble kicks off.

Fight Night! The challenger begins her walk to the ring as Michelle is wearing a red lingerie set to go with her gloves. Coach Denise Lewis rubs her shoulders as they walk down the aisle. Getting into the ring, Michelle nods as she gets a loud cheer from her fans. Denise telling her this could be last chance saloon for her when it comes to the title.

Jorgie now comes out wearing a light blue lingerie set and stockings to match her gloves. The title wrapped around her waist as she walks to the ring with eyes firmly on the ring. Her coach takes the title belt off her before she climbs into the ring. The title handed to the referee as Jorgie stretches in her corner.

Both women walk to the middle of the ring for the final instructions. The title belt is held between them with both placing a glove on the gold center plate to show they feel it's theirs. Both walk back to their corners with them taking a breath as the butterflies have gotta be running around their stomachs. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of BBU flyweight title bout action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" Both start off behind their jabs as they circle around the middle of the ring. There's a few short exchanges of punches before they move back out as they show a few nerves. Michelle is the one to start pushing the tempo up a notch as she lands a few hooks to the body after landing her jabs.

Jorgie now is stepping inside to work the body of Michelle. Who gives her a shove before landing a jab/straight into the face of Porter to knock her head back. Michelle now looks to come at Jorgie as she muscles her around the outside part of the ring. Jorgie trying not to get pinned to the ropes. The champion isn't landing much compared to Michelle though to make Denise smile in the Beevers corner.

The challenger is keeping Jorgie on the back foot, little nudges helping the raven haired fighter keep Jorgie off balance. Jorgie gritting her mouthpiece as she tries not to show her frustration at being bullied around the ring. Michelle on the other hand looks as calm as a cucumber.

The opening round ends with Michelle jogging back to her corner with a rye smile. Jorgie meanwhile tells the referee to watch her opponent for shoving. The referee nods but Jorgie clearly was hoping they'd go to admonish the challenger.

Round 2:
Things have definitely stepped up a gear as Jorgie comes out more fired up. Both exchanging some hooks on the inside when the champion can step in tight to work. Michelle using her left forearm to create space between them before she lands a few clipping shots around the temples of Porter to try to ward her off.

After a bit of a hectic first minute. Michelle gets caught with an overhand left on her cheek before a straight knocks her back two steps as it lands on her chin. Jorgie is turning the heat up on Michelle as she now drives her onto the ropes, testing the abs of Keegan with short piston like punches.

Clinching with Jorgie allows Michelle to get the referee to step in to break them up. Michelle using her jab more defensively when they resume, landing some nice crisp punches into the face of the world champion to mark her face up. The round soon comes to an end with Jorgie looking a little annoyed even though most at ringside think she has won the round. Michelle seems to be getting under her skin as they exchange a few words before being nudged by the referee to their corners.

Round 3:
Again another hectic start as Jorgie wants to dominate the inside battle. The crowd roars the fighters on as they bash each other around their torsos. Michelle steps back this time and lands a quick fire right uppercut to knock Jorgie onto her heels. The bubbly blonde certainly didn't expect that as her head snaps back.

Michelle using the opening to land a flurry to send the champion back into a neutral corner. Jorgie needs to clinch up to stop the challengers assault. Both fighters have a little sweat on their brow as they exchange more insults again till they are split up. Jorgie moving into space as Michelle has an eat shit grin. They resume with Michelle landing two punches to Jorgie's one at range.

Late in the round Jorgie ducks under a straight to come inside with a short right into the breadbasket of Michelle. Who grunts before an overhand left smacks on her jaw to twist her head. Jorgie starting now to force back Michelle into the ropes. A little pink hue starting to form around the body of Michelle as that's where Porter is predominantly working on. Keegan meanwhile cuffs her around her ears till the round ends.

Referee has to break them up as Keegan calls Porter a c**t. The champion not taking that too kindly as she pushes her forehead into Michelle's. Both being warned to keep their tempers down, they nod to the referee but ignore each other before walking to their corners.

Round 4:
Jorgie not as quick off the mark as Michelle is landing several crisp straight punches into her face. There's a little blood coming from the nostrils of Jorgie as she is a little too open. The champion though ducks under a left hook to land a counter right under the ribs of Keegan to make her groan.

Michelle now finding the champion right in her grill. The head of Jorgie at times is under the challengers head as she works her torso again to cause more red marks to form on it. Michelle needing to hold onto her foe when her back touches the ropes. They are split up with Jorgie waving Michelle to bring it on to the delight of her fans.

Duelling chants are ringing out around the arena as both popular fighters fight it out. Jorgie not liking being hit on her nose, allowing Michelle to land some nice flurries. The beautiful blonde though keeps coming back when she dodges and steps in closer to land some hard shots as she is planting her feet. The bell dings to end the round with both going to their corners without any incident, seems both are more interested in getting patched up then scoring verbal points with their opponent.

Round 5:
Doubling up her jab more to start the round, Michelle is wanting to stunt any quick starts from Jorgie now. Blood starts trickling again from the nose of Porter as she gets hit there more then her coach would like. Michelle though is getting clipped around her jugs and abs as Jorgie sticks in at times to land her straight shots.

They end up in close at the second minute after Jorgie ducks under a right cross. Exchanging till Michelle grabs hold of Jorgie in a clinch. The champion wants to prove a point by pushing Michelle to the ropes but they trip up and nearly fall out the ring as their torsos end up between the top and middle rope. If they fell through they'd have ended up on the judges table as the three judges look stunned. Referee saving them and breaking them apart.

Both have determination written across their faces as they resume fighting. Michelle is landing the cleaner shots at range, up on her toes as she is moving around the perimeter. Jorgie lands some nice punches of her own but when the bell rings, she looks a bit of a mess as blood has dripped from her nose onto her chest. Michelle admiring the blood staining her gloves.

Round 6:
Jorgie is mixing up her attacks more to go alongside more head movement. Both are showing their skills through this fight to adapt to what their opponent is doing. Michelle is landing some more punches around the chest of Jorgie to try to keep her in front of her. Problem for Michelle is that Jorgie is landing sweeping hooks over the top when Michelle leaves her guard too low.

Into the second minute and a right cross catches Michelle on her chin to make her take a step backwards. Jorgie stepping in closer with a left hook into the ribs of her challenger to make her groan. FOLLOWED BY AN UPPERCUT THAT SENDS MICHELLE TO HER BACK!

The Porter fans are roaring as she raises her arms in the air while marching to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Michelle shakes her head as she rolls to her right and gets to all fours. 4.....5..... Getting up onto her knees, 6.....7... Michelle begins to push up to her feet looking pissed off to be put down. 8... Getting to her feet with her gloves raised, she tells the referee "just let me at her." In either a show she isn't hurt or bravado to try to hide that she is.

They are told to fight on with just over a minute to go. Michelle has to deal with pressure from Jorgie, who comes at her with straight shots. They exchange on the inside with Michelle pulling Jorgie into a front headlock under her left arm, using her right to whack the kidneys of Jorgie till they are broken up. Referee giving Michelle a stern warning to stick to the rules or points will come off.

The bell soon rings to end the round with Jorgie calling Michelle a cheating bytch. Michelle has to be held back by Denise as her coach can see she is ready to explode. Both fighters getting cleaned up and spoken to keep their focus as this fight is deeply personal for them. Being the best in their area along with winning the world title has both women on edge.

Round 7:
Sweat is making both fighters glisten under the lights as they exchange. Michelle seems to have cooled off but has to deal with Jorgie getting into her face to force some exchanges. Nudging back the champion and landing several cuffing shots around her face.

A double jab catches Jorgie coming in flush on her nose to bring a tear to her right eye. Michelle then lands a follow up right hook around her nose to make Jorgie yelp. Suddenly the champion looks in trouble as she covers up and Michelle smells blood in the water to smack in power shots. Blood and sweat is flying when Jorgie eats clean punches to snap her head back or to the sides.

Jorgie is trying to keep off the ropes and to fire back but Michelle looks locked in. Less then a minute to go and a right hook wobbles the legs of Jorgie! MICHELLE SMACKS IN ANOTHER RIGHT HOOK TO SEND JORGIE TUMBLING DOWN TO HER SIDE!

Michelle flexes her arms above Jorgie as she yells "f**k you bimbo!" Needing to be nudged by the referee to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Jorgie can be heard whimpering as blood drips from her nose to the canvas. 4....5....6.....7.... Jorgie gets to all fours with her gumshield being spat out. 8.... Jorgie is being yelled at to stand up 9.... But it's clear she hasn't any more strength to get up 10 her title reign is over!

Winner and new BBU flyweight champion! Michelle Keegan KO Round 7

After:
What a comeback story for Michelle! She went through a rough patch where she couldn't buy a win, to returning to former over the past year. Now she is back on top of the world! Michelle though instead of celebrating with her coach looks to have eyes on the former champion.

Michelle walks over to Jorgie and presses her right foot onto her back. Driving down Jorgie onto her front. Michelle tells her "you dumb blonde bytch. You should never have challenged me. You can beat all the other bimbos you want but you'll never be on my level. That's why you are stuck doing shitty shows and now under my foot." Really grinding her foot in to make Jorgie whimper with tears running down her eyes.

Taking her gloves off. Michelle wants to really make this moment last as she asks for the title belt. This isn't what normally happens but she did win it, the referee grabs it and hands it to the new champion. She raises it above her head as photographers capture the moment of the former champion is under her foot. Michelle beaming with a gorgeous smile.

Now she is happy she has made her point. Walking over to her corner as Jorgie's coach rushes over to her, checking on Porter before helping her up over to her corner so she can be patched up. While in the Beevers corner Michelle shows the title off to Denise and jokingly says "did you expect any different?" With Denise shaking her head with a smile.

Once Jorgie is patched up with tissue paper blocking her nostrils. She leaves the ring with help from her coach. Her shoulders are slumped as understandably for the first time in a long while she looks broken. It will be interesting to see how she pulls herself back around after suffering such a humiliation.

In the ring Michelle is cleaned up herself and posing for cameras with the title belt over her right shoulder. Arms flexed as she has her smile on show. Michelle certainly proved a point here tonight that she is far from finished as a top fighter, in fact she is the one to beat in the flyweight division. The rebuild of Keegan is now officially complete for all to see.

Michelle and Denise leave the ring moments later with people already wonder who will be Michelle's first challenger. Will she look to settle an old score against the likes of a Cheryl Cole or maybe take on a rising star? Already 2024 has an interesting story developing at the top of the flyweights.
