Intro:
Second semi final in the Golden Ticket tournament sees English model Alexina Graham and American pro wrestler Bianca Belair clash. The winner takes on Erin Willerton for the ticket into next year's Diamond Boxing Tournament. Levi's Stadium in San Francisco witnesses this bout.
Lexy Nair is on reporting duties as she goes into the locker rooms of the fighters for a quick word. First up walking into the Graham camp to get a few words from her. Alexina stretches as she walks side to side in her locker room to keep warm for her fight.
Alexina tells Lexy "I am buzzing after beating Alanah. She is strong phew!" Chuckling as she rubs at her left side of her torso to hint that she is sore from Alanah's hooks. She then gets back to stretching to loosen up.
"Bianca is another hard hitter, physically she is the best in this tournament so I have to run the tougher end of the draw in my eyes. I feel confident that this is my to me to break out and not be a bridesmaid anymore" says Alexina as she nods to Lexy.
Who ventures into Bianca's locker room as the first semi final is taking place. Bianca is wiping herself down with a towel as she smiles. Lexy gets a fist bump from the wrestler as the AEW interviewer shows that their brand loyalty doesn't mean they aren't friendly.
Bianca tells Lexy "phew that was a hard fight. Maroles has some good hands. I was getting frustrated but I was able to prove my toughness and overpower her in the end. Mad respect to her before I sound too arrogant." Smiling as she puts the towel on her bench before she starts stretching.
"Alexina isn't going to be easy to take down. She is fit in a different way to me and is a solid boxer but I think she is in the same mould as Maroles. You saw what I did to her so I am confident I can get to the final" says Belair as she has her shoulders massaged by her coach. Lexy nods to Bianca and wishes her good luck before she leaves Bianca to get ready.
Fighting time! First out is Alexina with her coach behind her. She waves to the crowd before she steps foot into the ring. The redhead is wearing a pink sports bra with red stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves and her hair is braided. She taps her gloves together as she bounces on her toes.
Bianca heads out now blowing kisses to the crowd from the top of the aisle. She walks down to the aisle wearing silver coloured gloves. She has a silver sports bra, matching shoes, while she has a red lipstick pattern on the right left of her silver trunks, hair tied into a bun. Into the ring she goes flexing her arms for the cameras before she goes through her warm up routine.
The fighters jog to the center of the ring listening intently to the referee. No hint of malice between them as they do respectfully touch gloves. Both return to their corners with a few words of encouragements from their coaches before the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
Both jog out to engage in jabs as they get a taste of each other. Bianca lands a few sweeping hooks around the jaw of Alexina to make the redhead back off. Alexina catches Bianca coming at her with a straight onto her nose. Bianca having to think about her attacks as Alexina starts to land more combos as she loosens up.
Bianca is trying to work out how to get around the longer arms of Alexina. The model showing the technical skills she has learned boxing over the years. Bianca lands a few nice punches to the body of Alexina. She gets clipped around her head as the English fighter backs off to space.
Late in the round Belair manages to dip under a straight to come over the top with an overhand left to her opponents cheek. Pressing Alexina into the ropes. Working the body of her opponent till the bell rings. Both women nod to show respect before walking to their corners.
Round 2:
Bianca is dipping down more to land some piston like punches to the body of Alexina. Who responds by landing a few straight shots into the top of her opponents head. Both starting to throw in hooks when Belair moves in closer range. The sound of leather on their cheeks can be heard till Alexina moves back after landing a jab to knock back her foes head.
Boxing on the move as she looks to keep Bianca off her, Alexina is boxing nicely. But Bianca catches her with a short left hook to the body as she crouches under a straight to move inside. An overhand right comes in to smack the redhead onto her heels to the delight of Bianca's fans.
Driving back Alexina into the ropes. Bianca is pinning her down as Alexis covers up more tightly. Bianca whacking away at the flanks of her opponent to make her hiss. The round soon comes to a close with Bianca tapping her chest with her right glove before walking to her corner as she is fired up. Alexina takes a breath before returning to her own corner.
Round 3:
Out they come with Bianca hoping to keep the pressure on her opponent. Problem for Bianca is while she lands a few solid blows, she eats a right hook onto her ear. A left hook catches Bianca on her chin to turn her head before a straight knocks her head back. Bianca shaking her head as that looked to rock her back.
Alexina has Bianca covering up more tightly as she is throwing in a nice flurry of punches. Showing she is warmed up as she adds in some nice body shots. Bianca not looking happy when she tries to open up and gets her bottom lip split back open to cause blood up trickle to her chin.
A few hooks up top make Bianca shell up as Alexina has her under pressure. The round comes to an end with Bianca not looking pleased with herself as she returns to her corner. Her coach needing to give her a pep talk before she gets to rattled if she loses rounds, especially in the manner she lost this one.
Round 4:
Both resume with Alexina hoping to keep on top of Bianca. Who is landing some nice clean shots of her own through the mitts of Graham to her face. Both on their toes moving around trading a few flurries of punches trying to grab control of the round.
A straight catches Alexina on her left eye as Bianca leans out the way of a straight from the redhead. A left hook follows to twist the head of Alexina to send a little sweat flying. Bianca rushes her into a neutral corner. Where she is throwing power shots to knock the head of her opponent round till she is held onto.
They are broken up with Alexina getting out the corner. They trade but Bianca is the one pushing the pace as they are opening up. The round comes to an end with Bianca tapping her gloves together as she walks to her corner. Alexina rubs her left eye as it looks a little sore.
Round 5:
Resuming with eyes firmly locked as they move to the middle of the ring. Bianca getting caught around her ears when she moves inside. Alexina not liking getting caught around her left eye, it's getting a redness around it. Nearly clashing heads when they both step in with a straight before they step back to space to reset themselves.
Bianca gets caught out by a left cross on her lips before a right hook lands on her cheek to turn her head. ALEXINA SHOWING HER FOOTWORK TO MOVE OUT THE WAY OF A LEFT HOOK BEFORE STEPPING IN WITH AN UPPERCUT TO SEND BELAIR ONTO HER BACK!
Jogging over to the neutral corner. Alexina taps her gloves together as she looks at her opponent. 1....2....3... Bianca shakes her head defiantly as she sits up to her backside. 4....5....6... Bianca pushes to her knees with a groan. 7....8... Bianca pushes up to her feet with her fists soon raised up. The referee checks her over and gives her the all clear.
Still just over half the round to go. Alexina is looking to land a hook from behind her jab. Bianca showing she still has the wear with all as she boxes behind her jab and is trying to keep away from the ropes. Both landing some nice hooks when they do end in close.
At the bell they split apart from fighting tight to each other to return to their corners. Alexina has to cool herself off as her heart had to be racing in excitement from knocking down her opponent. Bianca meanwhile gets some water poured over her head to make sure she is fully awake.
Round 6:
Exchanging several stiff shots to the others face as there's marks showing. Alexina is looking for the big shot to end this but she isn't able to pull the trigger as Bianca is landing some several clean shots to the face of the English fighter.
Into the second minute, Alexina gets caught around her left eye with a straight landing flush on it. ALEXINA SHUTS HER EYES AND EATS A LEFT HOOK ON HER CHIN THAT SENDS HER STUMBLING DOWN TO HER LEFT SIDE!
"F**k yeah!" Screams Bianca before she walks over to the neutral corner. 1....2....3....4... Alexina is trying to get up as she gets on all four. 5....6... Alexina slips into the middle rope to her right as she is rocked badly. 7....8....9... She can only hold onto the middle rope to hold her up as 10 the referee counts her out!
Winner Bianca Belair KO Round 6
After:
Coming back from the knockdown, Bianca is understandably relieved as she looks to her corner and takes a deep breath. Smiling as she walks over to her coach to get a hug. She gets wiped down when she sits on her stool.
All the while Alexina is staring at the canvas looking gutted. Her coach comes into the ring to help her up over to her stool. Her left eye looks like it will be a nice shiner soon. She curses herself when she gets onto her stool. Her dream FCBA debut didn't quite go to plan here.
Once she is cleaned up and helped out the ring to head to the backstage area. Alexina shouldn't beat herself up too much over this night. While she is understandably pissed that she didn't finish the job after putting down Bianca. She has won her first FCBA bout and could go back to the BBU with a bit of a high to build off.
Bianca meanwhile has a final to look forwards to with Erin Willerton across the ring from her. She gets her right hand raised by the referee. Bianca blows a few kisses to the nearest camera before she heads out the ring.
This will be an interesting final as Bianca faces off against another model. Both women will need to prove their fitness to emerge the tournament winner. Bianca does have time to recover so she will need to use it wisely. |
