Camila Mendes vs Cierra Ramirez IV

Odds & Ends vs Latina Knockouts

Results: Lookout! Story: Zenpo

Before: The stage is set for the 1st ever Latina’s Flyweight Tournament and what a big fight we have here in the first rounds. The rivalry between Cierra Ramirez and Camila Mendes has been growing over the last couple of years, this will be the 4th fight between these HARD HITTING FLYWEIGHTS and they promise not to disappoint.

“This is literally the fight I envisioned. From the moment my team told me that Camila was also going to be in the tournament, I hoped I would face her so that I could destroy her face. I’m 1-2 against her, I got a TKO win in our last fight but that's not enough! I want to completely turn her lights off! Hey Camila, if you step in the ring with me tonight, I’m knocking you OUT COLD!” Cierra says as she turns her head staring directly at Camila in the hopes of getting a reaction from the Brazilian. “I’m winning this whole thing, luckily for me, you’re just step 1 one!”

“Oh honey you got so… so lucky in the last fight. It’s actually sad that you’re still believing your own hype from 2021, REALITY CHECK! You have 4 wins in your last 10 fights and one of them was to Ariana which shouldn’t even count!” Camila laughs as she taunts Cierra.

“And since we’re throwing predictions out here… I have one for you Cierra. Not only am I knocking you out tonight, but so is Ortega, and even that nobody, Carrero is gonna knock you out!”

Both Latina Flyweights are now in the ring and they are glowing as the sold out arena is anxious to see these women box. In one corner, the stunning Mexican fighter Cierra Ramirez is wearing an enticing sparkle blue bikini and white gloves. She removes her cowboy hat revealing warrior braids, mean mugging Mendes as she bounces on her toes. In the other corner stands the Brazilian smoke show Camila Mendes sporting a revealing blue floral bikini, pink gloves and a neat bun holding her hair.

The time is here, all talking is now over. The ref signals for the bell indicating we have 10 rounds in the Latinas Flyweight Tournament!

Round 1: Surprisingly it’s Mendes delivering the pressure early in the fight! She gets right to work with her lead jab, popping Cierra’s head back as she tries to find her distance. Cierra goes up top, gets blocked but follows it with a digging hook to Camila’s midsection right behind the elbow. Mendes shakes her head indicating she’s not hurt and gets back to work. She follows up with a quick one-two and finishes it with an uppercut slicing through Cierra’s guard. Ramirez tries to counter and punches the air, and takes a counter herself to the belly. Whilst Mendes shrugged off the body shot, Cierra can't hide the fact that she doesn't like the body punches! Unfortunately for her, Mendes is making it her priority to hurt the Mexican to Abs. Camila cruises the rest of the round and sets it clear who’s the sharper boxer early in the fight.

Round 2: Cierra starts to show signs of life, letting Camila know that this isn’t going to be as easy as she thinks. Suddenly there are punches being thrown both ways and it's finally turning into the fight that was advertised. Cierra is invoking a reaction with every feint and she finally pays for it when Cierra feints low and goes upstairs to the jaw. WHACK! That woman has power behind her punches but Mendes has a jaw of stone. Cierra looks shocked that Camila was able to eat that with such ease, but reverts back to staying focused. Mendes tries to jab her way into the fight but Cierra seems to only get better as the round progresses as she evades and counters with beauty. Everytime Mendes tries to make a move in, her head gets met by 3 flashing punches. Cierra holding her own in the second round!

Round 3: Both women have a round to their name and the initial nerves are gone, this third round opens a bit more intense. Cierra likes to fight in bursts of combos and she begins to have success until a nasty counter to the ribs stops her in her tracks. “Mmphh” Cierra grunts and Mendes smiles knowing that hurt Cierra. Soon it becomes a battle for control of the center of the ring. Cierra answers quickly with two to the body and finishes the combo with a hook upstairs that clips Mendes on the chin ever so slightly and HER KNEES BUCKLE! Eyes roll back and forth before she regains focus. That’s the type of power that Camila is facing tonight. It was an even round up until that one punch. There wasn’t even full contact and the Brazilian almost went out! Cierra tries to capitalize on the moment but just then the bell rings saving Camila from a knockout!

Round 4: Camila is desperate to get back into action, trying to let everyone know that she wasn’t hurt at all by Cierra but the replay during the break and the reactions from the crowd said it all. Mendes rushes an exchange and gets smoked on the way out. Her eyes widen with surprise as she’s feeling the power. The momentum that Camila wanted to establish starts to get ripped to shreds. Cierra aggressively takes control of the fight and backs Camila into the ropes, the smaller fighter gets inside digs at the body. Mendes drops her guard trying to cover up but gets BLASTED by an over right hand to the temple and Mendes starts to lose balance. Her equilibrium is off and Ramirez starts throwing bombs! Camila doing her best to cover up when back to back right hands get through and she goes LIMP but the ropes catch her. Mendes is on auto pilot mode, instinctively keeping her hands up but does know where she’s at the moment. Cierra teeing off with ease, the ref looking at the timer, only ten seconds left! Punches are slamming Mendes’ head from side to side, how much more punishment will the Ref let continue? DING DING! The bell rings saving Camila once again but how much does she have left in her? She holds onto the ropes as she makes her way to her corner. A sure sign of receiving concussive blows but the ref lets this go on and there's no one that can tell Camila to throw in the towel either! That’s three rounds arguably for Ramirez now.

Round 5: The cutman had a lot of work to do in Mendes’ corner but he somehow got her fight ready. Now it's Ramirez that wants to get this going. Cierra displayed great fight IQ by changing her tactics, fighting for the points, pissing off Camila, getting into her head and then executing well timed counters. But Cierra wants the knockout, lunges in with bombs. She lets technique out of the window, Camila weaving, avoiding knockout bombs left and right. BAM Nuclear bomb of a left hook to the Liver and Cierra winces loudly in pain and now she’s HURT! The woman who was about to get knocked out suddenly revives and now she's the one throwing the punches. Cierra is getting walked back with nowhere to go. Camila backs her up against the corner and starts executing vengeance. Camila reverts back to what was successful in round 1 and beats the body up. Cierra’s abs are visibly red and a bruise forms on her ribs. The Mexican Latina won’t go down without a fight, overhand right aimed at Camila’s temple, Camila dips avoiding the shot, explodes up with an uppercut to the mouth! Mouthpiece goes flying and the ref checks in, wanting to possibly stop the fight. Cierra holds on, but the damage to the body is starting to take its toll. Her guard hangs a tad bit too low for her corner’s liking urging her to keep her hands up. Both women were completely exhausted towards the last few seconds, Camila with the comeback round after looking like it was all lost!

Round 6: LKo’s corner spent most of the time trying to get their fighter to breath. Camila’s investment into Cierra's abs and body have been working like a charm for the Brazilian. Cierra keeps her hands up as best she can but the moment Camila goes low, Ramirez drops her hands trying to cover up from damage and gets detonated by a sharp tight right hook to the temple. Ramirez is HURT! Her legs are stiff and wobbly, she tries to maintain her coordination and gets clipped by a left straight on the chin… Cierra is frozen in the spot, letting off a moan, eyes rolling backwards. Mendes delivers another clean one two and CIERRA RAMIREZ GETS FOLDED! Her body goes limp, knees buckle and her body folds over her legs, crumpling in a heap at Camila’s feet. Ref takes a quick glance, but Cierra is an eye rolling mess. Mendes shakes her head in acceptance of her work.

CAMILA MENDES KNOCKS CIERRA OUT KO6

After: Camila with a big statement tonight! She didn't have the best of fights but she put Ramirez to bed in a SLEEP early in the 6th! She takes her victory pose over an OUT COLD Cierra who’s ko’d in an uncomfortable position.

“What happened to knocking me out sweetie?” Camila says as she placed her foot on Cierra’s body. The rest of the group is surely on notice after a display like this by O&E Superstar. Cierra is finally getting helped, smelling salts brought out to wake her from her deep slumber. The LKo’s star had her moments, even winning the fight at points but she let it slip and you can't do that against Mendes as she already knows. Brutal knockout loss for Cierra but she has to change things around quickly with Ortega in the group as well.
