Nicola wiped blood from her nose, glaring at Luisa across the ring, determined not to let her get the upper hand again, then Luisa lunged forward and they clinched, each trying to wrestle the other to the mat. The referee shouted for them to break, and they quickly backed away, circling around each other once again, with Nicola throwing a few more jabs and Luisa countering with sharp hooks and uppercuts, which were beginning to hurt the redhead, but only serve to make her more determined.

Round 2

The second round began, and both women came out guns blazing, exchanging brutal blows in the center of the ring. Nicola managed to land a solid left hook that sent Luisa reeling into the ropes, but Luisa countered with a sharp right hook that connected with Nicola's jaw, making her stagger back, and then followed up with a powerful left uppercut that sent her crashing to the mat, landing hard on her shoulder. The crowd gasped as Nicola struggled to her feet, rubbing at her sore jaw, as the referee's count reached 6, and she glared across the ring at Luisa, who was grinning mockingly. The referee stepped in between them, asking if Nicola was ready to continue. With a nod, she stepped back into the center of the ring, determined not to let Luisa get the better of her again. Luisa was able to land a few more solid punches, but Nicola was able to counter with some well-placed jabs that forced Luisa to keep her guard up. Nicola managed to land a solid right hook that sent Luisa stumbling back, and followed it up with a left uppercut that connected with her chin, snapping her head back. Luisa countered with a sharp right hook that glanced off Nicola's shoulder, but she was clearly weakening, and Nicola lunged forward and landed a brutal left hook that sent Luisa reeling across the ring, and Nicola was after her, landing punches to Luisa's body, trying to wear her down. As the round drew to a close, Nicola lunged forward and threw a final left hook that connected solidly with Luisa's jaw, sending her reeling back against the ropes, and she followed up with a good left hook to the body, making Luisa's legs wobble. The referee stepped in between them as they clinched, calling the end of the round.

Round 3

The third round began, and both women circled each other warily, as Nicola threw a few quick jabs, but Luisa managed to block them and counter with a sharp right hook that glanced off Nicola's cheek. They exchanged several more blows, each landing solid shots, but neither woman was able to gain an advantage.
