Before:
Hilary Rhoda looks for revenge and stopping Blake Lively’s surge for the hall of fame late in her career. The two women met once before with Blake Lively winning the fight. Both women with plenty of respect for each other but both know the stakes of a welterweight fight between two of the top fighters in the division. A win could make a title opportunity.
“I know Blake beat me last time and this is all about proving I still have it.” Hilary says. “I can still hang and beat the beat of the girls in the ring and Blake is one of those girls. She just doesn’t stand a chance today.”
“Hilary is a great fighter.” Blake says. “She’s a near lock for the hall of fame as long as she gets the fights. That is the difference between the two of us. I need every win I can get and that is going to drive me harder than her.”
Hilary wearing a red sports bra and matching trunks with black gloves for the fight. Blake wearing a green sports bra with blue trunks and gloves. The two women touch gloves and the referee calls for the bell and ten rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
Rhoda and Lively exit their corners and start circling each other. Both women jabbing at their opponents and Rhoda with the early lead with her reach. Lively backpedaling with her guard up and the brunette advances. Hilary with a right into Blake’s ribs but the blonde’s planting her feet and she finds the model’s tender midriff early. Rhoda stopped in her tracks and Lively digs a pair of punches into her ribs from close range and the brunette clinches. The referee separates the two women and the round continues. Rhoda jabbing at Lively to keep the blonde at a distance but the actress dips and dives in close and hits her body. Lively keeping her strikes to the body of the taller girl and she works her back.
Round 2:
Rhoda cautious and using her jab and she keeps the blonde at a distance. Hilary laying leather into Blake’s ribs but the blonde is hitting the brunette back. Lively getting in close to Rhoda and doing damage to the model’s body but the Girls Friday fighter keeps up her tactics and steadily works the blonde back into the ropes. Blake clinches and the referee separates the two women. The fight continues and Blake scores another blow to Hilary’s ribs but the brunette connects with a cross to her foe’s chin. Blake staggering backward and Hilary lays leather into Blake’s ribs. Hilary working Blake back and the brunette getting points as the round ends.
Round 3:
Rhoda picking up where she left off and the brunette works her long jab and she tags Lively in her mouth early. Blake standing her ground but the brunette pounds a follow up left into her opponent’s jaw and the blonde is staggered. Rhoda connecting with a strike into Lively’s chest and the blonde gives up ground as she blocks her opponent’s punches. Rhoda changing her strategy and the brunette dips around Lively and hits her opponent’s midriff. Blake wincing and the blonde finally clinches but her body is a bright red. The referee pulls the two girls apart and Blake lands the first blow out of the break and finally gets her first clean hit of the round. Lively with a follow up into Rhoda’s chest but the brunette responds with a right of her own into Blake’s chest and the two girls circle at the end of the round.
Round 4:
Lively ready for Rhoda’s jab and the blonde works her counter and drives short and powerful blows into the brunette’s body. Hilary giving up ground and she jabs at Blake to keep the blonde at a distance but the actress dodges a right jab and drives a left into the model’s face. Rhoda butt in ropes and Lively lays on another pair of punches before the model clinches for the break. The fight continues and Lively presses her advantage as Rhoda keeps her gloves up in a defensive guard and the blonde tags the brunette’s body but only dips and dives out for a pair of punches each time. Rhoda frustrated and the model waits for her opponent’s next strikes before finding a short right into blonde midriff. Blake with a thumping left in response but Hilary with a left of her own into Blake’s jaw and the blonde is stunned at the bell.
Round 5:
Hilary looking to press her advantage now and the brunette model charges out of her corner with jabs and hooks. Brunette girl connecting with a hook early and the blonde staggers back into the ropes and Hilary getting her payback on Blake from the fourth. Hilary driving Blake to butt in ropes and buries leather into her body. Lively’s guard staying strong as the blonde stays on her feet but her torso turns red from the punches. Second minute Lively gets the clinch and break and the blonde keeps her distance from the brunette. Rhoda eager to deal more punishment and the brunette shoots out a right jab that bounces off of Lively’s gloves. Blake not getting in many counters in the second minute but she’s staying on her feet. Rhoda charges at Lively in the third and drives a right into her opponent’s ribs and follows up with a left but it flies wide and Blake connects with a blow to Hilary’s solar plexus and the model is hurt at the bell!
Round 6:
Lively now the girl bounding out of her corner and Rhoda’s slow out of her corner after her offensive charge in the fifth. Blake feinting and dipping and diving and Hilary is not fast enough to respond. Blake with a pair of rights into Hilary’s ribs and the model’s guard opens and the blonde snaps the brunette’s head back with a right. Hilary staggered but the brunette staying on her feet and the Girls Friday fighter plants her feet. She tags Blake in her shoulder with a right jab but the blonde takes the blow and connects with a jab to Hilary’s mouth. Rhoda swinging with a left hook to keep Lively away but the blonde ducks the blow and connects with a left-right combo that sends Hilary to the canvas. The brunette starts to crawl to the ropes but the ref’s already at the count of six when she grabs on to the bottom rope. Hilary grabs a hold of the second rope but she can’t pull herself up! The referee reaches ten and your winner by KO6 Blake Lively!
After:
Blake raising her arms in victory as the blonde scores another victory in her late career resurgence while Hilary is helped to a stool. The blonde parades around the ring, screaming, “Nobody will stand in my way. I will destroy any woman who tries to stop me.”
Rhoda talking to the press later after losing her seventh fight in her last eleven bouts, an anomaly for an elite fighter. “Blake was better than I was tonight but I am not done. I will get my revenge on Blake and make sure she does not win three straight fights against me.”
