Intro:
Main event time here in the Alamodome in Texas. The final bout of the fifth round in the Diamond Boxing Tournament sees two women clinging on to winning the entire tournament. Valery Kaufman (3-1) and Bridgette Satterlee (3-1) both lost last month. A loss here would put them in dire straights while the winner would keep their hopes alive of being the winner of the tournament and take home the trophy.

Heading into the contest both women gave their thoughts on camera as they sat down on set. Valery was up first as she wore a white hoodie, black jeans and black trainers. Not looking in the mood to talk as she sat down with a glare at the camera.

"I am only here because I was told it was contractual. I'd much prefer to be training because I am pissed off that I lost to that bimbo Antje (Utgaard) last month. I am better then her and she knows it" says Valery sternly.

She then changes her scorn to her opponent as she says "now I take on another sl*t. Bridgette is a f**king abs champion for god's sake. I am the serious fighter taking on these jokes. I'll enjoy wiping that smirk Bridgette always seems to have off her face." Standing up and marching off as clearly she thinks that is enough to stop her earning a fine off the FCBA committee.

Bridgette doesn't exactly look excited either as she walks in wearing a white vest, blue jeans and black heels. She sits down and tells the camera "how the hell did I lose to that old h**ker Alice? She is the luckiest person I ever met in my life. Next time I see her I am going to crush her. Whether she wants to test abs or box me, I am not through with her till I am satisfied." Clearly not forgetting her loss to Goodwin from a month ago.

Her trademark smirk does return though as she leans forwards to tell the camera "but now it's Valery's skinny ass turn to face me. I have seen her talk such a big game. Valery honey, you are f**king with the wrong person trying it on with me. I am going to leave her laying and then my eyes are firmly on Antje. That's the showdown the fans want. She is supposedly so physical, that's what her manager tells the world."

Lifting up her vest to show her abs. Bridgette says "Antje isn't in the shape I am. I'll enjoy beating her in the tournament and if she wants a crack at the AMDD title, Antje I am not afraid of you one bit you overrated bytch." Maybe looking past Valery isn't the smartest thing to do. Bridgette clearly is looking at the marquee fight and the one that actually might decide the tournament if she can get win this contest too.

Fight night! Out first comes Valery with her coach behind her. She walks to the ring with her coach telling her she has got this. Valery gets into the ring wearing a red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes. Red gloves with her hair tied into a braid finishes the Russian fighters look.

Bridgette now comes out with her stablemate Jess Bush still working her corner, even after last month's loss. Bridgette is wearing a blue sports bra with white trim. Matching trunks and shoes, blue gloves with her hair in a ponytail. She steps into the ring with her eyes firmly on her opponent as she stretches.

The referee brings the fighters together at the middle of the ring. Both women intensely stare their opponent down as neither shows a hint of fear. They do bump gloves with their opponent before they walk off to their corners. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" Bridgette is looking to land some big shots behind her right fist early on. Valery on her toes as already both are showing their hand. Valery landing several stinging shots to her opponents face. While Bridgette isn't quite finding the range in the opening minute of the round.

But after that Bridgette catches Valery in her chest with a straight. Getting in closer to land a left hook followed by a straight to the face of Kaufman to knock her back two steps. Bridgette now holds the middle of the ring and is outworking Valery. The Russian looking like she wants to keep somewhat compact in her guard against these power shots coming her way.

Valery does come out her shell more towards the end of the round. Bridgette though is landing the harder shots to keep her near the ropes till the bell rings. Bridgette returns to her stool with eyes firmly on Valery. The Russian star not exactly shy herself to stare daggers back at her.

Round 2:
It's Satterlee that kicks off the action quicker this round. Smacking Valery with a few short hooks to the body when she closes the distance. Valery grunts and backs up, landing a few jab/straight combos into Bridgette's face to keep the American honest in these exchanges.

A straight to the forehead followed by an uppercut pushes Kaufman into the ropes. Valery needing to cover up as Bridgette is trying to break her apart with short hooks. Several making Valery grunt and groan as she isn't enjoying the pressure. Needing to hold onto Bridgette to force the referee to split them up.

Once they resume, Valery is using her footwork and jab to keep off the overly aggressive Bridgette. Who finds her cheeks being stung repeatedly as she misses. The round comes to an end with Jess telling Bridgette to keep her cool. Valery meanwhile knows she hasn't started this fight exactly brilliantly as she talks to her coach about what she needs to change.

Round 3:
Back at it they go with Valery boxing more on the back foot. Leading Bridgette by the nose as they strike each other with straight punches. Sidestepping to the left of Satterlee as a straight comes her way. Valery counters with a right across her face. On comes Valery with a flurry of punches marking up the cheeks of her opponent.

Bridgette pushes off Valery but she doesn't seem able to land much more then single punches. Valery looking to keep on the move and frustrate her foe. Bridgette certainly playing the part as she is still at times swinging wild shots that are easily countered.

Late in the round Bridgette does manage to cut the ring off and force the issue. Both going toe to toe to the delight of the crowd. Gumshields are bared as they exchange up until the round ends. Sitting on their stools, Bridgette shakes her head annoyed at how Valery was bouncing around her.

Round 4:
Again Kaufman is boxing the cheeks off Bridgette as she sticks and moves. Bridgette slowly starting to ram her own jab home more as she seeks to close the distance on her foe. Exchanging some heated flurries of punches when Bridgette can force the issue.

But another counter right across her face has Bridgette thinking as she has a trickle of blood coming from her nostrils. Valery landing piston like punches around the nose to make the American cover up more tightly. Bridgette covering up more tightly as she looks disgruntled.

A reminder of what Satterlee comes to her opponent late in the round. Valery getting caught with a jab on her nose before a hard right hook lands on her chin. Bridgette slamming away at the body of her rival. The round ends with both sitting on their stools looking heated. Both hoped they could grab control of the fight and humiliate their opponent. They are learning that they aren't in the ring with a jobber.

Round 5:
Bridgette looks to have found her mojo after getting back to her own jab. Valery still landing some nice counters but she is also getting hit with a few more hooks from behind the jab of Bridgette. More inside fighting comes when Satterlee cuts off the ring to make Valery have to stand her ground to trade.

Digging in their punches around each others bodies. It looks like Kaufman is being drawn into her opponents style of fight. An uppercut to her tits makes Valery whine before a left hook crossed on her chin to twist her head around. Back goes Valery to her heels as she is worked into a neutral corner.

Valery finding herself pinned down as Bridgette has the bit between her teeth here. Body shots making Valery grimace till she sees a chance to clinch up. Both are pushed apart and given a warning for punches to each others kidneys. They box around the ring as Valery gives up ground to try to keep a safe distance from her opponent.

At the bell both walk back to their corners with sweat dripping off their brows, marks on their cheeks and they are both know they are in a fight. Bridgette looks a little more relaxed after a better round there. Valery meanwhile looks assured as she taps her toes and stares hard at her opponent.

Round 6:
Resuming around the center of the ring. Bridgette manages to find her way in closer to work before Valery holds onto her. Referee splits them up with Bridgette looking keen to keep the pressure on her foe. They trade several stiff single shots as one tries to be the aggressor, the other being more defensive.

A straight shots catches Valery on her forehead to snap back her head. Bridgette stepping in closer with a clean follow up jab flush to the face of the Russian. VALERY TRYING TO GRAB HOLD OF HER OPPONENT BUT A CLUBBING RIGHT HOOK ON THE JAW SENDS HER DOWN TO HER RIGHT SIDE!

Walking to the neutral corner with both arms up into the air, Bridgette enjoying the loud cheers of her fans. 1....2....3... Valery on the other hand rolls to her front. 4....5... Getting to all fours shaking her head. 6....7....8... Valery grunts as she gets up to her feet. Raising her fists to show she will be ok to fight on.

Still around half the round to go. Both women trading around the ring as Valery again gives up ground. She is more smart when she clinches and is grabbing hold of her opponents right arm at times. Earning a warning from the referee as they trade with free fists till broken up.

The round comes to an end with Valery cursing herself in her native language over a terrible round. Bridgette sits looking more relaxed now she has the knockdown on the scorecards.

Round 7:
Trying to keep the pressure on her opponent. Bridgette is out her corner looking to close off the ring. Valery using her opponents renewed aggression to smack her flush with several two punch combos to the face. There's a little swelling forming around the left eye of Bridgette to give her something to worry about.

Narrowing the ring down. Bridgette catches Valery with a short left hook to her cheek before ramming home a straight into the face of the Russian. Valery finds herself pinned against the ropes as now Bridgette looks to finish things right short hooks. Some finding a home to make Kaufman cry out.

Pushing Bridgette to her chest to get off the ropes. Valery showing grit to kero coming back at her opponent. That left eye of Bridgette is giving her problems as she blinks after a straight lands on it. She is protecting it more with her left. Which allows Valery to dodge the right more.

"Ding!" Rings the bell with Bridgette gritting her teeth as her eye is worked on to reduce the swelling around it. Valery meanwhile is taking a few deeper breaths. They both are laying it on the line here as neither is quitting this fight.

Round 8:
They resume with more stiffer punches being exchanged. Bridgette continues to look to be aggressive. She is getting popped on her cheeks and around her left eye when she opens up to nearly shut it with the swelling. Valery not exactly pleased herself when she gets a cut on the bridge of her nose from a sweeping right hook.

Entering the second minute. Bridgettes accuracy has went down and it's leading to Valery dodging then landing beautiful counters that are sending sweat flying from Satterlee's head. A straight on her chin sends the American stumbling two step backwards. LEFT HOOK AROUND THE TEMPLE SHAKES THE LEGS OF BRIDGETTE AS SHE IS DEFINITELY BEING HURT. WHILE BRIDGETTE TRIES TO FIGHT BACK AN UPPERCUT CATCHES HER FLUSH ON THE CHIN AND HER LEGS GIVE OUT FROM UNDER HER AS SHE COLLAPSES TO ALL FOURS!

Valery marches over to the neutral corner and rests against them with a piercing stare aimed at Bridgette. 1....2....3... Who looks up at Valery with a scornful expression. 4....5....6... Bridgette is trying to get up but her legs are like jelly. 7....8... Making her fall back to all fours, her gumshield comes out as she shakes her head. 9....10 this bout is done! Bridgette is counted out!

Winner Valery Kaufman KO Round 8

After:
Emotional after the hard fight. Valery walks over to Bridgette and grabs her head by her hair to tilt it up so they are staring hard at each other. Valery spits in Bridgette's face before telling her "I beat you. I made sure you won't win this tournament you bimbo!" As the referee gets involved to get Valery away from the beaten fighter. Bridgette gets her face wiped down by Jess as Bridgette looks ready to kill Valery if she had the strength.

Of course instead Bridgette needs to be helped over to her corner. The normally strong willed fighter cries into her hands as this wasn't how things were meant to go. She was supposed to beat Valery and then beat Antje Utgaard to win this entire tournament. Now to win this tournament she needs Antje to lose her two bouts, win her two bouts and hope Valery loses her remaining two. Valery very well looks to have stopped Bridgette winning it all unless a miracle happens.

The winner meanwhile gets booed by a chunk of the crowd for her lack of sportsmanship. Valery doesn't care as she gets her gloves taken off. Telling her coach that the crowd can screw themselves, all that matters to her is winning. Of course Valery suffered defeat last month too and it might have contributed to why she felt the need to rub this victory in, remind everyone she is a real threat in this tournament. While Antje holds the head to head record over her. Valery could still win this tournament, again there needs to be some luck involved as she needs others to help her out.

Valery walks to the center of the ring for the final result to be announced. Getting her left arm raised to a mixed response. Bridgette though seems to have recovered enough to push past Jess as she gives Valery a shove. Both rivals grab each others hair and hiss at each other as coaches rush to pull them apart. A few slaps are exchanged before they are broken up with a few strands of hair laying around their feet.

"You won't be lucky next time you c**t!" Yells Bridgette as clearly this feud has only just begun. Valery waving Bridgette to come fight her now as she isn't showing any fear for the woman she just defeated. Bridgette needing herded out the ring by Jess and a security guard as the crowd cheers and chants for "let them fight!" Ring out.

Instead though they have to see Bridgette unwillingly leave the ring. She gives Jess a nudge away with her left hand when her stablemate tries to console her. Slowly walking to the back. Bridgette looks to be pissed off at the world and that could make her more dangerous to anyone wanting to beat her in the boxing ring.

While inside the ring Valery has cooled off. Telling her coach "anytime that dumb bytch wants more. I'll f**king beat her again" as this rivalry certainly has reached bad blood stage already. Could this feud help them as they fight their remaining two opponents in the tournament or will they be too focused on each other?
