Before: “I was looking around for my next fight after I lost my title shot against Billie Eilish,” explained Chloe at the prefight presser. “Our first thought was Ashley Benson, but the PLP said she was already booked this month and offered Sasha Pieterse. I wanted the action this month took the offer. I see she’s a bit taller than me, but I don’t see that as a problem. It will be a challenge that makes the fight interesting.”

Says for Sasha Pieterse says: “I’m just glad to be back in action. First two fights this didn’t go my way so I am looking finally get that first win of the year. I don’t expect it will be easy. Chloe is good fighter. Still, it would do my prospects good to get win over a title contender. So I am motivated.”

“”Oh, I like a motivated fighter,” says Chloe Grace, “it makes it more fun when they lose anyway.”

“I haven’t lost yet,” Sasha purred.

“Yet,” Chloe said as she and Sasha traded sharp looks. Suddenly this fight seemed to be gaining extra interest among the fans.

On the night of the fight, Chloe Grace Moretz was black one piece swimsuit with white gloves and boots (black laces). Her hair was loose, but wetted down. Sasha in white one piece with silver gloves and books. Hair pulled back in battle braid. Cool looks during ring instructions and then the quick slap of the gloves. Then they go to their corners. The bell rings! It’s begun….

R1: Chloe gets in close on Sasha right from the start and pounds away at her to the body. Sasha fights back with body punching of her own. The two are circling around each other as the leather flies back and forth between them at an even clip. Then CGM suddenly shifts to a sneaky right uppercut to the chin and a follow-up smash to the jaw. Sasha momentarily stunned by the blows, but pulls back with her gloves up around her head. Chloe launches a flurry of hooks into Sasha’s stomach and ribs. Sasha tries to fight back, but Chloe’s crowding is making this difficult. Round ends in a narrow win for Chloe Grace Moretz/

R2: Sasha Pieterse the faster one out of her corner and she scores early with head swiveling shots to Chloe Grace Moretz’s jaw. Sasha adds quick chin flipper uppercut to CGM’s miseries. Then she goes down to attack Chloe’s body. However, Chloe suddenly lashes back with smashing right to Sasha’s jaw and a follow-up left to the chin. Sasha falls back as now Chloe pumps hooks into Sasha’s midsection. Just as it looks like Chloe has snatched control of the round, Sasha uses her uppercut to stun CGM to the chin and smack her in the jaw. Sasha uses the right/left combo to put Chloe back on her heels. Chloe tries to recover but Sasha keeps hammering abs and ribs though Chloe tries to answer with body counters of her own. Chloe finally in retreat at the bell. Still, judges found it close round, but give it to Sasha on their cards.

R3: Sasha now using more upper body movement as she closes in against Chloe. Chloe keeps trying to land against Sasha is evading or blunting a good many of them. Most of the early action is to the chin, jaw and sides of the head. CGM growing noticeably lumped up around the face. Then Chloe stages another comeback. She smacks Sasha hard between the eyes to stun her, and then clouts her in both eyes. Sasha falls back in confusion counter as Chloe advances but then Sasha drives a big right hand into Chloe’s right eye. Chloe recoiling., covering her head as now Sasha goes back to the body with more hammering hooks to abs and ribs. Chloe regains her balance and fights back just as the round ends. Again, the round is close, but again it is Sasha Pieterse who edges out the win. Chloe sporting a big, red and swollen area around her right eye, but must take some satisfaction that Sasha has a matching set of future black eyes.

R4: This round it is Chloe Grace Moretz who is fastest out of her corner and comes at Sasha Pieterse as though blast her to the head. Instinctively, Sasha raises her mitts, but Sasha slams hard, deep digging hooks into Sasha’s belly. Sasha goes up on her tiptoes with a loud gasp of shock. Then she jackknifes backwards and Chloe is banging her to the sides of the head. Sasha struggling to escape as now CGM is pounding away at her flank ribs. Sasha struggles to get her jab going, but she keeps being doubled forward by Chloe’s belly busters. Sasha is pushed back into the ropes. She manages to take a seat, bury her face in her gloves and hunch up as best she can. CGM working her vulnerable torso over and over with her leather storm. Sasha shuddering and gasping from the blows, but her knees and legs stand firm. Shemakes to the bell, but she looks gray-faced as she leaves the ropes. Chloe looking quite pleased with herself. She knows she has won the round wide.

R5: Chloe is again has out of her corner, but quickly finds that Sasha’s defenses are prepared. Sasha deploys a solid jab that frustrates Chloe’s attack. Chloe then seems to grow impatient and just tries to fight her way in close. There is a bitter exchange of head bangers and chin checkers that cause both to step back. It is Sasha who seems to recover first and she starts forward, then flings a straight shot into Chloe’s right eye. Chloe is staggered by the blow and this gives Sasha then chance to pour in a barrage of jaw and chin shots. Chloe teeters her arms flailing and Sasha leaps in to land a finisher right between CGM’s eyes. DOWN GOES CHLOE! She crashes onto her back and lies there with a stunned look on her face. Sasha hastens to the neutral corner. It looks like the finish for Chloe—BUT NO! CGM shows her determination and somehow gets herself back on her feet to stop the count at “NINE”

Referee looks Chloe over and then waves Sasha back in. Sasha gets right back in action and very quickly it is apparent a mistake was made. Chloe is response to the punching barrage Sasha shows at her is sluggish and ineffective. Sasha easily drives the distressed Chloe into the ropes where Chloe tries to slide away but it is no go. Sasha pounds away trying to get Chloe down, but she won’t go---AND THE REFEREE STEPS IN! The official has seen enough and cradles Chloe in his arms (only now do her knees buckle). Sasha raises her right arm in victory.

THE WINNER: SASHA PIETERSE DEFEATS CHLOE GRACE MORETZ TKO5!

After: A little bit of an upset here as the younger *(though smaller) fighter with slightly better record falls to an older (if taller) fighter who only now gets to .500 with this win. So a good night for Sasha Pieterse (even if she did get left with twin black eyes).

“I kind of like the kid, she is feisty, but I was able to find a way to beat her. I guess she will just have to settle for giving me more black eyes than I gave her.” Sasha says cheerfully.

“I can’t help thinking I handled things just a little different in the 5th I could have gone on to win,” Chloe says unhappily. “It’s too late for regret. I ‘ll just be moving on. I still want to fight Ashley Benson. I can assure you I will not be careless fighting her.”

When told of this,Sasha Pieterse just smiles and says: “I’m sure my friend Ashley will pin that statement up on our bulletin board for motivation.”Heh! Heh!"
