Pre-Fight: League of Mighty Women’s Anya Taylor-Joy will be making her second defense of the Bantamweight Title against Vixens’ Alyssa Lynch. These two never fought before, but they have been involved in a war of words for a while now, so both fighters must be raring to fight each other, finally. Anya is on an eleven-fight winning streak and she would like to keep that streak going by defending her title against a bitter foe. On the other side, Alyssa had mixed results this season after having a busy and successful year, but she clearly wants to put an end to Anya’s winning streak, shut her up and win that elusive first title.

The dislike between the two is clear from the moment they enter the room for the pre-fight press conference as they look at each other with disdain. Anya makes her statement first. “Once again, I’m here as both the Champion and the Empress. I proved again and again since last October that I’m the best in the league! Now, poor Alyssa wouldn’t know anything about this because she never won a title. She likes running her mouth, but she proved time and time again that she is an overrated bytch that is unworthy of a title. Yet, she runs her mouth again, calling my name, thinking that she can break me just because she broke some nobody. Well, I had enough, it is time to shut her up!” She gives her opponent a dismissive look as she concludes her statement.

Alyssa looks annoyed by her opponent’s words, but she is eager to fire back with her own statement. “I can’t wait to beat you and shut you up, Anya! I have been a top level fighter in this league for a lot longer than you and my record proves it, so no one can say that I am unworthy of a title. In fact, I denied my title shot that I deserved before, but I know it is because you were scared. You think you can handle me now, but that’s a big mistake. You got titles that belong to me, so it is time that I take what is mine. I will take that Bantamweight belt this time, then I will take the Body Saddle title next time and I will break you physically and mentally while doing so!” Both fighters get up and come face to face for the press photos. Anya gives a condescending look to her opponent and then dismisses her with a hand gesture. Alyssa has had enough of her opponent’s attitude and she slaps her hard, which leads to chaos with pushing and hair pulling while security and both camps try to separate the fighters. Before too long, but with a lot of effort, they are separated without anyone sustaining any serious damage. It will surely be a tense fight though.

It is fight night and Anya makes her entrance first with the title belt around her waist and her coach Shania Twain accompanying her. Anya has a regal look as she greets the fans cheering for her with a royal wave on her way to the ring. Inside the ring, she bounces on her toes as she listens to her coach, ready to go.

Anya is wearing a black sports bra with gold trim, matching shorts, gloves and boots with her hair tied in a ponytail.

The challenger, Alyssa comes out next with her coach closely following behind her. She pumps her fists as the crowd cheers loudly for her. Once inside the ring, her focus quickly shifts to her opponent and she gives her a cold stare.

Alyssa is wearing a blue sports bra and matching shorts with white gloves and boots, while her hair is pulled back in a tight braid.

Both fighters come to the center of the ring to listen to the final instructions of the referee, but then neither of them goes for the touch of gloves as they clearly don’t respect each other. They step back to their respective corners and we are ready for 10 rounds of action for the Bantamweight Title!

Fight: Round 1: "Ding!" The fighters engage around the middle of the ring. It looks a little tense in the early going as they exchange jabs. Anya moving her upper body slightly more of the pair to dodge and land through the mitts of her challenger to her face. While Alyssa strikes back with a few punches square into the body of Anya to give her a little food for thought.

Into the second minute of the opener, Alyssa gets caught trying to come inside with a left hook on her ear, followed by an uppercut to her chin. Anya now has Alyssa covering up as she is opening up now with piston-like punches. Not all land but they are keeping Alyssa from ironing up herself.

Less than a minute to go. Alyssa comes out of her shell with a jab on the chin of Anya to knock her head back. Alyssa stepping inside to fire in short hooks to the ribs of her rival. Anya trying to stay in close to show she won't be bullied back by the toned Lynch. The grunts of both fighters can be heard to get fans cheering and whistling both game fighters. The round ends with Anya nodding to her coach as she jogs back to her corner.

Round 2: Out come the fighters to a loud cheer from the crowd. The opening twenty seconds sees both getting a feel for each other now with the fighters are up on their toes eyeing each other up behind their guards. They do loosen up as they near the end of the first minute with more combos being strung together.

Alyssa feints with a jab before she sidesteps the champion to her right. Alyssa landing a right cross square into the chest of Anya to make her back up a step. A left hook lands flush on the cheek of the champion as Alyssa is starting to land more power shots.

While Anya is fighting hard, Alyssa looks to be keeping her aimed towards the ropes. Several hard hooks to the body making Taylor-Joy grit her gumshield to not let out signs of them hurting. The round soon ends with Lynch looking good to make her supporters happier after the opener.

Round 3: Again it is a closely fought opening exchange between them. Anya looks to have slightly faster hands. Alyssa is landing the harder looking punches. Anya changing things up by doubling up her jab, while also not just going for her foes face as several punches crash into the chest of Lynch to make her grit her mouthpiece.

More heated exchanges in close till Anya lands a sneaky uppercut on the chin of Alyssa. That opens the challenger up to a left hook/right cross combo. Alyssa now finds herself being herded around near the ropes as Anya is outworking her.

Still Alyssa is showing her fighting spirit to fire back. Problem is she is getting caught with two clean punches landing to her one. Anya is starting to show off why she is a champion. The round comes to a close with Anya getting a fist bump by Shania. Alyssa meanwhile taking a breath to keep calm as the pressure of claiming a title here has to be nerve wracking.

Round 4: The double jab of Anya giving Alyssa some early problems as it strikes her around her forehead. Alyssa starts crouching down more to drill in straight shots to the belly button of the champ to make her groan out. Both end up in close trading stiff shots as they plant their feet.

Pushing back Anya with her left forearm, Alyssa strikes the champion with an overhand right to her cheek to twist her rival's head. Anya soon finding herself muscled to the ropes as Alyssa pounds her ribs with short hooks till Anya can grab her into a clinch. Both hissing into each other's ear before being pushed apart.

While Lynch wants to keep the pressure on her opponent, she is being met by a staunch defence. Punches smacking both faces as cheeks take the brunt of their hits. The bell dings to end the round with the crowd getting a close bout here. Neither seems able to pull away with the lead. Eyeing each other intensely from their stool.

Round 5: Pushing off their stools to resume. It looks like Anya is the one getting her punches off the mark quicker in the early moments of the round. Her problem is sustaining that lead as Alyssa shows good head movement at times to dodge and step inside with short hooks and straight shots in another closely fought start.

The second minute sees Anya trying to push the pace a little more. She gets caught with a jab on her chin as she opens up. THE UPPERCUT THAT FOLLOWS TO HER CHIN SENDS ANYA SHOCKINGLY TO HER BACKSIDE!

Alyssa pounds her chest with her right glove as she is fired up on her way to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Anya shakes her head to clear some cobwebs. 4....5... She pushes up to her right knee looking at the referee. 6.....7....8... Getting to her feet with fists raised, the champion isn't going to give up her belt that easily.

They fight on with Alyssa brewing with confidence now. She muscles back Anya to the ropes again. Firing in sharp hooks till Anya can hold onto her. They are split up with Anya needing to be smart with her defensive style. At the bell Alyssa walks to her corner to be met with a pat on her back. Anya meanwhile is checked over to make sure she isn't buzzed.

Round 6: Resuming with Anya trying to get back into the fight after that knockdown. She is swinging a little wildly at times though. That allows Alyssa to step in with a straight on her nose followed by a left hook that causes a little panic in the LMW corner as they see Anya's legs shake a little.

Alyssa is now bullying her opponent around the ring. Anya is covering up more tightly now. That pounding hook seems to have sapped some confidence out of Taylor-Joy, who finds herself cornered into a neutral corner. Alyssa pounding the torso of Anya to make her grimace.

Needing to push off Alyssa as she can't get a good hold of her. Anya is boxing now on the back foot as they enter the home stretch of the round. Alyssa stalking after her with straight shots as she tries to pin down her opponent. The round ends with Alyssa buzzing as she returns to her corner, needing to be told to keep cool. Anya getting a pep talk from Shania as she is cleaned up. There's a little swelling around her right cheek from the hooks she is taking.

Round 7: Pushing the pace early, Alyssa is trying to win this bout now as she steps after Anya, who is looking to box smartly. Anya landing several crisp punches into the face of her challenger to make her think about her attacks. Cheeks are slowly reddening up.

In closer gets Alyssa to work but she is getting caught around her ears to make her back off. Anya showing her fighting spirit to keep on going. Anya isn't backing down from the Vixens fighter as she wins several exchanges with smart footwork and straight shots.

Things getting scruffy in the dying moments of the round. Anya gets hold of Alyssa to stop her building momentum up. They grapple and nearly trip onto the ropes. Referee needs to break them up as a few harsh words are exchanged. The round comes to an end with pundits debating who came out on top there. Alyssa had some good moments on the front foot but Anya gave her problems with slick boxing.

Round 8: Sweat flying off both women now as they exchange stiff single punches to open up more. Alyssa makes Anya cry out when she lands to the body. Anya lands a few straight shots back into the face of her foe to keep from being swarmed. Several hard toe to toe exchanges have the crowd cheering them on as they stand up to watch this hard fought contest.

A left hook catches Alyssa on her chin after she misses with a sweeping right of her own. Anya pounds in a jab/straight combination to send sweat flying as Alyssa has her head knocked back. The challenger finding herself now getting smacked around her face, a cut opens on her bottom lip as Anya slices through her guard.

Late in the round Alyssa deflects a straight to step in with a left hook of her own. Back comes Alyssa on the inside as she works back Anya now. Who holds onto her as both can be seen breathing harder, maybe more Anya from the body shots she has taken. The round comes to an end with both pushed apart. Neither fighter's heart can be questioned as they sit on their stools getting cleaned up and having a drink.

Round 9: Alyssa might be ahead on the scorecards but she looks keen to make sure this doesn't go to a judge's decision. Opening up more is looking like a mistake as Anya is reading her better and counter attacking. Alyssa has her coach telling her to cool herself down as they can see she is getting a little desperate.

After the opening minute. A straight smacks Alyssa on her chin to rattle her. A left hook around her temple to make Alyssa stumble two steps to her left. A RIGHT HOOK LANDS ON THE NOSE OF ALYSSA TO KNOCK HER BACKSIDE!

Anya nods to herself as she takes a breath while walking to the neutral corner. 1....2....3... Alyssa shakes her head as she rubs her nose. No blood but it looks sore. 4....5....6... Alyssa pushes to her knees as she looks to her feet. 7....8... Getting to her feet, fists up as the referee checks her over.

They resume with Anya not rushing in. Several feints bait Alyssa into making mistakes as the challenger is trying to step in to force the issue. An uppercut catches Alyssa to send her stumbling backwards. Anya pounds her back into a neutral corner. Alyssa trying to fire back but she is getting hit too cleanly for her coaches liking. A NASTY RIGHT HOOK TO THE TEMPLE MAKES ALYSSA SAG AGAINST THE TOP ROPE TO HER RIGHT SIDE! THE REFEREE STEPS IN AS THEY HAVE SEEN ENOUGH!

Official Result: Winner via TKO in round 9 and still the Unified Bantamweight Champion, Anya Taylor-Joy!

Post-Fight: Anya is in rough shape, but she looks relieved to have successfully defended her title and she raises her fists in celebration, looking at her corner. With the adrenaline still keeping her going, she turns back to taunt her opponent, who is being helped by the referee as she is still sagging against the ropes. “I proved again that you are an overrated, unworthy bytch! You will never be at my level! Oh and you aren’t even worthy enough to be my steed!” With VIXENs camp and medical staff coming over to check Alyssa, Shania pulls her fighter away and tells her to focus on celebrating her victory instead.

After getting cleaned up and resting a bit, Anya comes to the center of the ring, gets her hand raised by the referee and receives her title belt back. After Shania puts the title belt around her fighter’s waist, Anya decides to pay a visit to VIXENs corner, where Alyssa sits on her stool, resting after getting cleared by the medical team. “Get up, bytch! I will take you for a walk of shame around the ring.” Alyssa slowly gets up, but instead of complying with Anya’s demand, she shoves her away instead, telling her “I had you and I was winning that fight! You just got lucky, but I won’t let you walk me for that! You can try it if you want!” Seeing that Alyssa recovered enough to get physical again, Anya decides to walk away with her title. “You know what, I got what I wanted, I don’t have any more time for you anyway. We are done, bytch!” As the champion leaves the ring with her team, Alyssa shouts at her “We are not done yet, Anya! I will break you next time and ride you hard!”
