Before: Tahnee fresh off a problematic win over Solveig Hansen, looking to add another well regarded blonde to the growing list of the vanquished. "I'm clicking on all cylinders right now," Atkinson says in prefight. "Romee snozzed and lost. Now, I’m going to show my stuff against the hottest welterweight prospect on two continents!" Josephine undaunted by Tahnee's bruising reputation: "She's tailor made for me, actually," Skriver claims at podium. "I see a lot of doubt out there, but I'm telling you: Atkinson will suffer at my hands. I've all sorts of tools to use on her. I'm not a blown up rookie: I'm a dangerous veteran who needs to be respected at all times. If Tahnee doesn't already know that, she'll learn it soon!"

Bell: girls still in there rubbin' and sluggin' - ref pulls Atkinson away, champ salting away the round with position&power.

R2: Josie's jab pounds off Tahnee's prepared defences: Aussie denied entrance as Skriver maintains distance. Potshotting exchanges as girls circle and lean-in: Atkinson pounding a right hand off Josephine's chest to win crowd approval; challenger jabbing well, and punishing the Tahnee beltline with stroking rights and lefts. Skriver with smart palm-shoves, keeping Atkinson off her: Danish fighter controls fight geometry, maneuvering the action for points.

R3: Tahnee double-dekeing her way in, getting the left shoulder into Josie's tits, then working hard from there. Skriver unwilling to disengage - happy to fit Atkinson for tidy right uppercuts; work waist and flanks; shoulder-bump Aussie norks. Tahnee answering back in kind - girls just swapping shots head and body, punching each other around the ring. Atkinson once again muscling action onto the ropes in there shruggin' away both shoulders, mitts kneading and bullying Skriver's rack hup-hup-hup. Josephine gasping, but slugging back - nice little torso-twist allowing her to chop short right hands onto Tahnee's jaw inside. Bell; girls rubbin' and sluggin' - ref forced to pull Tahnee off again. Fighters upbeat, sweaty, alert on their stools: each lass certain her fight plan is working.

R4: Tahnee a little too brave with her chin - Josie able to land a pair of right crosses over low hands midway through the round. Atkinson stepping to her right, a little buzzed: Skriver leans in, cleans up HUGE on chin with a crashing right, swiveling Champ's head and PUTTING HER DOWN! tahnee sprawled on her back - thunderstruck: Josephine glances down on the strut-past to neutral corner, corners of her mouth curling up into smirk of hamfisted supremacy. Atkinson beats the count rocked and queasy: she rests against ropes as Skriver wades in. Josie patient , squared away strong, softens up Tahnee's guard with jabs, followed by muscular right hands up top, then firm, digging hooks to paunch. Skriver rhythmic, unhurried - getting her legs and glutes into the punches, then pushing Atkinson in her shoulders to reset. Tahnee gobsmacked, dukes're up, she's blocking what she can, but it's a draining beatdown second, posting Josephine to a healthy early lead on the cards.

R5: Josie doubles up a stubby jab, closes in good order, shoves short rights to Tahnee's ribs, backing brunette to ropes. Siege: Atkinson cupping Skriver about the ears - using forearms on her shoulders; challenger struggling against this look, ripping shots to flanks, chugging up into breasts. Jug-mugging reaching epic proportions at times: Tahnee groaning, forced to tie up, hang on tight for ref's breaks. Josephine stays aggressive - jabbing Atkinson into ropes, pinning her there: blonde setting a relentless, pressure-fighting pace as Champ tries to glom on. Smothering punishment applied: Skriver fighting off Tahnee's chest, puling her wrists down, clubbing her about the head and body. Whenever possible, Josie's up into that rack, brawny shoulders shrugging in short-pump left/rights, bunching up the bulk.

R6 : Josie pawing her left, bobbing swiftly: she penetrates early, raking Tahnee’s ribs beneath the jugline. Minute mark, Atkinson slides back, walks Skriver in, picks her up a licking right uppercut off right leg: JOSIE'S ROCKED! Tahnee hard-eyed going over to offence - measuring out the jab, railing in a long right cross to challenger’s sturdy chin. Skriver moved backwards, hands at temples: Legs are shaky as Atkinson walks her down. Fighting along ropes, Tahnee pounds looping rights against Josephine's guarded head, slugging the fight to her right. Changing up, Atkinson leans in on lead leg to fit a digging left flat to sternum, putting Skriver’s butt in ropes. Shifting right, Tahnee rides left forearm behind Josie’s head, stooping her forward to receive PUMPING right hands in left flank. Brutal stuff: Atkinson lips tight, drawing the elbow back and shoving home these hits with short, slam-fire shots. Bell: Skriver ashen faced, blinking rapidly en route to her corner after Tahnee’s biggest round yet proves this fight is anything but over.

R7: Tahnee slides back from Josie, spoiling a blonde barrage that moves air. Skriver forward with her own momentum... Atkinson coiled, right hand at chin, weight on right leg... again she slides back as Valkyrie wades in punching, then Tahnee leans in, KISSING blonde chin that rising right off the hips! Josephine’s eyes click shut; lips part in stupor; head swivels as she's falling forward and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Atkinson raises her hands, struts away as Skriver lies very still on her face and tummy: finesse KO7 for the winner and STILL Welterweight Champion, Tahnee Atkinson!

After: Close, competitive fight, Tahnee able to gut through a bad middle to Thunder Goddess her way out of trouble again. Atkinson walking off the bodyshots afterward, hands on hips, mouth wide open, tummy and ribs pink from Skriver's consistent wallop. "She went after the pudding," Tahnee grins in postfight. "She wanted no part of my right hand, and that influenced her throughout the fight. Deep down, she knows she got out-boxed tonight. There's too many people who think I’m just a slugger and a JMDer. I just turned the best boxer on two continients inside out with superior boxing, despite all her tuff-girl muscles!"
