Roxanne Pallett vs Emilia Clarke

BEFORE: Former Emmerdale stalwart Roxanne Pallett is as determined as ever to make some noise despite mediocre results over the years and one might argue Emilia Clarke needs a good performance even more than the Cumbrian brunette given her own struggles in recent months. Clarke has lost her last eight FCBA fights and might be looking to rebuild her stock through an extended schedule in the old country in the upcoming months. Both she and Pallett remain fan favorites and will always find a spot on the monthly PPV so let's see what these two veterans can showcase in the Heatwave sun tonight!
Roxanne Pallett wears a turquoise bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a high-up ponytail with bangs. Emilia Clarke wears a red bikini set & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Roxanne wants to make an early statement and charges up the middle to connect with the fellow brunette's jugs before lining a left hook on the jaw that stuns the HBO actress and sends her into immediate retreat. Pallett tries to make more progress with the slugging drive and delivers a high-tempo assault while Clarke is forced to move around in avoidance doing very little on offense until she gets trapped on the ropes and has to swing back simply to neutralize Pallett's aggression one way or another. Both women engage in a head-hunting tussle in the corner where Roxy maintains the upperhand and knocks Emilia's braid around while also inflicting a noticeable lump under the left eye. Ugh! Emilia's high-guard doesn't show much improvement for remainder of the round and allows Roxanne to carry on with the supreme execution which has the Kats entourage rocking in joy at the bell.
Round 2:
Another quick start from Roxanne but Emilia finds the neccessary response this time and clatters into the older brunette's boobs before lacing her with an uppercut double. Roxy gets spun onto her heels but she wants to come back at the fellow actress so the crowd is treated with another head-hunting exchange that carves a small gash under Pallett's left eye even though she digs deep to land more leather into Clarke's face herself. The back & forth slugging continues into the final minute where both women finally run out of steam but Emilia still enjoys the last laugh when she smacks the Emmerdale troublemaker with a harpoon series on the midsection and leaves her gasping for air at the bell.
Round 3:
More of the same in the third, both brunettes keep blasting each other without looking back at the damage factor and the visible marks begin to pile up after Clarke gets cut across the nasal ridge which wobbles her behind a tight earmuff. Roxy lets her have it in close range but misses out on the gut-checking series and shoves the slightly subdued opponent onto the ropes where she buries her with another aggressive blast. A couple of wild shots drop Emilia into a steady roll but she still swings back from behind the guard and the historically subpar Pallett defense leaks a solid dose of leather indeed. A late clinch finally slows the action down and Emilia actually traps the older brunette in a standing headlock and whacks her in the kidneys moments before the bell which makes Kats coach Gail Kim extremely upset on the spot.
Round 4:
Roxanne charges to deliver the head-hunting double and she taunts Emilia to find some response which triggers another back & forth tangle which only finds its solution when the HBO actress gets whacked across the nose and starts leaking red paint to stun the audience. Ugh! Even Roxy is a little surprised at first but then she cranks up the juice and smokes Emilia back to the post blasting her from both flanks in the process. Clarke tries to respond from the inferior position but her efforts lack the genuine power supply so Pallett keeps the upperhand until she backs the younger brunette onto the turnbuckle. More verbal taunts follow but Emilia is not in the mood for that anymore. She bails out behind a tight earmuff and has Roxy working on speed dial in order to extend her advantage. A late shot in the groin sinks the Londoner into loud spasms and the Kats corner is truly overjoyed by Pallett's performance already.
Round 5:
Can Roxanne finish the seemingly ailing opponent off here? Emilia tries her best to avoid more physical damage but the Cumbrian foe opens the nasal wound early in the fifth and thumps a vicious series in the solar plexus soon afterwards. Woof. Emilia drops to her heels and tries to catch her breath before getting rocked by a brutal hook on the ear that sends her into a tail-spin. She lowers her guard enough that Roxy can SMOKE her with a clear hook on the jaw and the gravity does the rest. DOWN GOES CLARKE crashing flat on her back with eyes closed. Roxy struts back to her corner to enjoy the sight and poor Emilia can't rise to her feet fast enough anymore. She sits up at six and still remains on one knee at nine... the loud TEN slumps her into spasms of defeat and it's KO5 Roxanne Pallett!!!
AFTER: That's a shocking result but maybe says more about Emilia really needing to find her groove even on this side of the Atlantic. She couldn't overcome the usually hittable Pallett who served as the low-hanging fruit but still made the HBO actress choke on it. This result also means that Roxanne should find more PPV options going forward and the Kats stable dismisses the idea the veteran brunette should retire anytime soon.
