MODEL MAYHEM AT THE ASYLUM VI

BEFORE:

"It's time for me to get back to regular action on this side of the Atlantic," says Maisie without a hint of a smile. "And, after I take out Winter, I'm sure I'll get offers."

"Maisie's under the mistaken impression she has a shot tonight," says Ariel. "And, I'll just have to BEAT that out of her."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: " Back at ringside and that's 'Feels Like Summer' by Childish Gambino, one of the favorite songs of the young lady coming to the ring right now, Maisie Williams..."

McCarthy: "And, this is another girl who HAS FCBA wins. Somebody must be lacing that swill Weirdo drinks with MFP or something..."

Cassie: "Well, Uncle Wiz does have white teeth..."

O'Dell (sighing): "Williams into the ring and helped off with the robe, and the crowd popping for Maisie in that gray number she's chosen. And, that's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hammering through the arena, but that's not Taylor Swift's version, it's the cover by the young lady coming to the ring right now, Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter..."

Tess: "Winter's done very well for Front Street, winning nineteen of her last twenty-one fights, but, in this stable, that makes her the number THREE fly. So, she's definitely under pressure to continue getting results..."

O'Dell: "Ariel into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and she's getting the expected crowd reaction to that curve-hugging white number we've seen before. And, the ladies are ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Ariel. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Williams has wins. Williams WILL win."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Winter wants to step to and get to work, but Maisie not having any of that right now. British beauty doesn't plan on trading shots with the hard-hitting American, at least not in the first round. Instead, Maisie gives ground, moves laterally..."

McCarthy: "Box her, kid. You'll get her."

O'Dell: "Boxing seems to be the plan, and now Winter willing to settle into that. Not going to spend the round trying to force something, at least not this early. Instead, the flyweights are at range, working the feet, looking to find openings."

Tess: "Good stuff from both."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Clock running under twenty-five seconds in the opening stanza. Williams a nice combination there and Winter fires right back. There's the bell. Very close in the first, but the Brit's going to be first on the board."

Cassie: "10-9 Williams."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second starting the way the first ended, with the two brunettes boxing at range. This would seem to favor Williams, as these are clearly the terms the British beauty wants, but, at the moment, at least, Winter holding her own."

Cassie: "Ariel's shown before that she can box. She likes to bring that power to bear, though..."

O'Dell: "And, I'd expect we're going to see some of that at some point. For the moment, however, the American is willing to play the Brit's game, and she's playing it very well, SHARP exchange there and then another and both fighters scored some points..."

McCarthy: "If this Dancing Hooker can't get inside and slop, Williams will win EASILY."

O'Dell: "Ten ticks remaining on the second round clock. Ariel with a nice combination that forces Maisie to cover up and that brings us to the bell. Another close, competitive round with neither fighter able to gain an advantage. This time the points go to Winter."

Tess: "Making us even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third verse, same as the second. The two brunettes have decided to fight on these terms, both are having success, so no one plans to change anything. And, both are showing some skills here, Mac, moving well, angling..."

McCarthy: "Well, it's not like they're J-MAC in there, but they're doing OK..."

Tess: "Well, certainly both of these fighters would suffer in comparison to a fighter who's won a WHOPPING 47 percent of her fights..."

Cassie: "And has LOST ten more than she's WON for her career! I mean, who can match THAT?"

McCarthy: "You LITTLE...YOUR record isn't anything to write Rome about!"

Tess: "Cassie won almost 58 percent of her fights and won ten more than she lost..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Ten seconds to go in what's been another competitive round. Neither fighter able to gain an advantage in this stanza. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Very close again to Williams, which puts her in the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Ladies back to work at range. Both brunettes boxing very well. We've seen three very close rounds to this point, and the fourth is shaping up the same way. Williams very slick, very smart, playing the geometry well..."

McCarthy: "And, I'll have BOTH of you know, that if I hadn't been ROBBED three dozen times, I'd be WAAAAAYYYY over .500 and my career win percentage would be MUCH higher than Scabbo's..."

Cassie: "Too bad you were robbed all those times, then. Because, if you hadn't been, you'd qualify for the Hall of Fame..."

McCarthy: "I WAS CHEATED OUT OF THE HALL OF FAME AND IT'S ALL WALMART'S FAULT!"

Tess (sighing): "REALLY, BFF?"

O'Dell: "IF we can concentrate on the ring, we're down to the final twenty seconds of round four, which has been closely contested. Neither brunette able to gain much of an edge. NICE right hand by Winter, and there's the bell. Close again. Ariel. And we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth underway at range where we've been for the entire fight. Williams has been calling the tune, so to speak, getting things her way as far as terms, and, despite that, Winter has held her own boxing with, which is why the fight is even..."

Tess: "Which is kind of a credit to both..."

O'Dell: "It is, Maisie for enforcing terms and Ariel for being able to succeed doing what she normally doesn't and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND BY WINTER! Williams is HURT! Ariel all in as Maisie STEPPIN' IN FENCE POST HOLES and DOWN GOES WILLIAMS! Right hook!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the ligggghhhhttttssss. The party's ohhhhhverrrrr..."

O'Dell: "Ariel to a neutral corner. No movement at all from the Brit who is flat on her back in the Maltese cross position. Count at three. Four. Five. Not going to happen. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Maisie both down and OUT and it's OVER and your winner by KO5 is Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Ariel Winter, and, Ariel, you got your box on some tonight..."

Ariel: "I can do a lot of things in there. Usually, I'm not boxing at range, because I don't have the reach. So, I like to get in and bang. Tonight, I have as much as she does, so, why not?"

Tess: "So, what's next for you?"

Ariel (shrugging): "You know how it goes around here. Could be anything. And, I'll be ready!"
