BEFORE:

"I can beat girls at this level," says Kathyrn with a smile. "I've proven it more than once. She's a tough assignment, sure. But, tonight, I'll prove it again."

"She's legit," Chloe admits. "But, tonight? She's in with the best bantam on the planet."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Breathless' by Jerry Lee Lewis, and here comes the lovely Kathryn Newton!"

McCarthy: "And, load and behold, this girl actually HAS FCBA wins and she has won more than she's lost!"

Tess: "Load and..."

Cassie: "Worth it, BFF?"

Tess: "We DO have the whole night ahead of us..."

Cassie: "Heads or tails?"

Tess: "Heads!"

Cassie: "Tails. Let's move on..."

McCarthy: "What ARE you two babbling about?"

O'Dell (sighing): "Newton into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a white number that has the crowd popping and that's..."

McCarthy: "HORRIBLE! AWFUL! AN ASSAULT ON MY OLFACTION!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Uh Oh', and the singer of that tune, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet, is on her way to the ring."

Cassie: "Bennet looking for a shot to get those bantam belts back, so she'll want to get a result tonight, since the division as a whole is very competitive, but it's also very competitive here at Front Street with both Lili and Sophie also in the Top Ten..."

O'Dell: "Chloe into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd giving it up for Ms. Bennet in that blue number she likes. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "This kid has won some fights. Newton!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel. Let's see who's right. Newton stepping right to early, taking the fight to the former champion. She's backing up Bennet with heavy leather. Brunette giving ground here, might be a little taken aback by the aggression from the blonde early..."

Cassie: "Kathryn reminds me of Chloe in that she's used a lot of different tactics well in her career."

O'Dell: "Definitely has and SHE SHAKES BENNET WITH A RIGHT HAND! Chloe wobbled by that one and now Newton ALL IN HERE. She's letting the hands go, buzz sawing the older woman back into the ropes and looking to finish this thing..."

McCarthy: "If Newton gets it done, Bennet will be on the next train out of Philly!"

O'Dell: "Kathryn working some body, then right back upstairs. Ref looking in closely, but Bennet defending herself well, jabbing back in spots, running some clock. Final seconds tick away and there's the bell. Newton. Wide."

Tess: "And Kathryn leads 10-9."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Newton in command as we start the second. She's stepping forward, backing up a still-buzzed Bennet. Blonde has an opportunity here, and she's taking full advantage of it. She's hooking some body, but mostly working upstairs."

McCarthy: "Measuring her right now..."

O'Dell: "Bennet giving ground, trading space for time. She's staying off the ropes, but that's about all she's getting done. Got to wonder if some of this is just about not taking any chances until the legs are all the way back..."

Tess: "Could be, but it's allowing Kathryn to pile up a BUNCH of points..."

O'Dell: "Most certainly is. Ten seconds remaining in what's been a one-way second round. Nice combination by Newton, backs Bennet up another step and there's the bell. No doubt about this one. A shutout for the blonde."

Cassie: "And Kathryn now leads it 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third underway with Newton coming forward and Bennet holding ground now. Blonde and brunette with a couple of sharp exchanges, and now Kathryn decides to work at range. Chloe's definitely got the legs mostly back under her..."

McCarthy: "Smart move by the kid. Early lead. Fighting well. Don't make a mistake."

O'Dell: "Ladies getting their respective boxes on, and this is a place where Bennet has shown many times that she shines. Brunette definitely getting work in now, but the blonde is holding her own pretty well at the moment..."

Cassie: "Definitely impressed with Newton. Definitely."

O'Dell: "Wouldn't be the first time she's done that, be impressive, I mean. We're down under fifteen seconds to go in this frame. NICE combination by Bennet forces Kathryn to cover up, and there's the bell. Close, but Chloe's on the board."

Tess: "But, Newton still leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Ladies falling into a pattern now. Both want to work at range, so that's what we're doing, and both, again, showing quite a bit of ability to do this. No surprise in Chloe's case, but, while we've seen Newton box well before, holding her own against Bennet is pretty, once again, impressive..."

McCarthy: "Kid just needs to keep working and she'll send this Dancing Hooker packing!"

O'Dell: "SHARP exchange there, and both fighters landed a good right hand. Nobody hurt, but those punches got everyone's attention. Lot of movement this round, head, hands, feet, as the fighters look to play the angles..."

Tess: "And, again, Newton doing that very well."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. We're coming down the stretch in a competitive fourth round. Ladies continuing to work at pace as the final ticks come off the clock. Kathryn with a nice combination and there's the bell. Close. Newton's round."

Cassie: "And the blonde back up a pair, 29-27."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Ladies right back to range, boxing with. Last couple of rounds have been a purists dream, quite frankly, with tons of sweet being involved in the science and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND BY CHLOE and NEWTON IS HURT!"

Cassie: "Oh, she timed THAT one..."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she did, and Newton's in trouble! Bennet letting the hands go, backing up her rival with a series of hard right hands. Kathryn pinned to the cables and Chloe going to work. Body on sale, but the brunette's not buying at ANY price..."

McCarthy: "Newton just needs to ride this one out. She'll be fine..."

O'Dell: "That seems to be the plan. Bennet loading up, trying to get the blonde out of here, but it's not happening, at least at the moment. Kathryn hanging on and there's the bell. It's Bennet and it's wide, but Newton survives."

Tess: "And still leads by one, 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth begins with Bennet measuring. Chloe stepping forward behind the left, backing up the still-wobbly Newton with right hands. Kathryn on the defensive, giving ground, keeping the guard high, looking to work some clock..."

Tess: "Chloe sitting down on everything."

O'Dell: "She is, indeed. Bennet sensing the opportunity to win this thing, and she doesn't plan to let it go wanting. GOOD right hand by Bennet and THERE'S A LEFT HOOK AND DOWN GOES NEWTON! A BLISTERING left hook by the brunette!"

Cassie: "That might do it..."

O'Dell: "Bennet to a neutral corner. Newton down on her left side. Count at three. Four. Five. Kathryn rolling to her belly at six. Seven. Pushing up to hands and knees and then SINKING BACK TO THE CANVAS. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Next Big Thing' Chloe Bennet!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, bit of a rough start tonight..."

Chloe (nodding): "She can fight and everyone knows it. Caught me a good one and I had to work to get out of that round. But, once I did that, I knew I'd be fine."

Tess: "I'd ask what's next for you, but the answer's always the same..."

Chloe (laughing): "I want the gold back, Tess. Whatever helps me get there is what's next."
