MODEL MAYHEM AT THE ASYLUM VI

BEFORE:

"Glad to finally get an opportunity here at Asylum," says Margot with a smile. "And another crack at Lili. She got the first one. Not tonight."

"She's the real deal," Lili admits. "She proved that the first time we fought. But, I'm the best there is below 120. And, that's going to make the difference."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and the four-sided giant screen lowered over the arena, which means Asylum Beach is about to get some use. And, that's 'Dance The Night' by Dua Lipa you hear behind us, but that's not Dua coming across the sand, it's the lovely Margot Robbie of Sceej Boxing..."

McCarthy: "Who is here to KNOCK THE BLOCK off a DANCING HOOKER!"

O'Dell: "Margot climbs between the ropes and is helped off with the robe, and the crowd impressed with the lovely blonde in that white number she's wearing. And, that's 'What I've Done' by Linkin Park, and here comes 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart..."

Tess: "Reinhart arguably the best fighter Front Street has. She's in a back-and-forth battle with Bennet atop the bantams here...with Sophie Mudd right behind."

O'Dell: "Lili through the ropes and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd liking what it sees as Reinhart's own white number is revealed. Time for some picks. Tess likes Lili. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Reinhart will be hers by the third!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell and Margot moving well and moving a lot. Aussie plenty athletic, as we know, as she's putting that to use on the sand. It's not the jab and circle routine, more angles and playing the geometry, and she's doing both well..."

McCarthy: "That's because Robbie has REAL trainers!"

O'Dell: "Reinhart looking to square here, but having very little success doing it. Margot looking a lot more at home on the beach than the American at the moment, as she's scoring well with both hands. Nobody hurt, but Robbie in charge..."

Cassie: "She's gotten into a rhythm, that's for sure."

O'Dell: "And, she's STAYING in one as we come down the stretch. NICE combination by the Aussie, forces the American to cover up. Five seconds remaining. Robbie a good right hand, and there's the bell. Margot wide in the first."

Tess: "And, Robbie grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Adjustment by Lili. She's moving forward now, looking to press the issue a bit. Margot wants to fight at range, but the former bantamweight champion would rather get to middle distances, and, all of a sudden, we're working for terms..."

McCarthy: "That's because Robbie SCHOOLED her in the last round!"

O'Dell: "Margot wants open sand here, but Lili cutting the ring some. Younger blonde able to line Robbie up some now, get some sharp leather on. Margot still holding her own, however, getting off in combination. Slick as always..."

Tess: "Not a lot in in this time..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is not. We're within 15 seconds of the bell, and nobody's been able to take command in this stanza. SHARP exchange there, and both blondes landed a good right hand. And, there's the bell. Very close. Lili on the board."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "More of the same to start the third. Ladies working hard to get the distance and angles they like. Margot moving well, kicking up tons of sand. Lili not pursuing, but she's stepping forward to cut the ring and close distance..."

Cassie: "Reinhart very effective at middle distances."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, and Margot offsetting that work very well by what she's doing at range. Aussie slick and athletic. almost glides across the beach. She's putting punches together well, as is the American and, for the second round in a row, not much in it."

McCarthy: "Margot has her RIGHT where she wants her..."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the third. Points are there for the taking and both fighters looking to take them as we get a sharp exchange followed by another. Heads snapped back right there, and there's the bell. Very close. Margot."

Tess: "And, Robbie's back in front 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Back to work in the fourth and Reinhart backing up Robbie with a hard flurry! Best punch of the fight landed by the American in that combination. Younger blonde stepping forward now, has the Aussie in retreat across the sand..."

Tess: "And, working to keep her that way."

O'Dell: "Sure is. Back foot stuff for Margot right now, backing and covering as Lili gets off lusty. Robbie's not hurt, but she's definitely on the defensive, and Reinhart is piling up the points right now. Lili's got it all going at the moment..."

McCarthy: "Just be careful, wait for the counter..."

O'Dell: "Margot definitely not taking a lot of chances here, staying very sound as she gives ground. She's stayed off the ropes and she's managing to find space enough to limit Lili's offense. Final seconds tick away in the fourth and there's the bell. Lili. Wide."

Cassie: "And, we're even again, this time at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Reinhart again pushing forward, looking to close distance and cut the ring. Robbie slick, moving well, wants to maintain distance and freedom of movement and DOWN GOES REINHART! OH, WHAT A COUNTER FROM MARGOT!"

McCarthy: "I CALLED IT! I CALLED IT!"

O'Dell: "Robbie to a neutral corner. Lili dropped to her back by a BEAUTIFUL keyhole counter from the Aussie. Count at three. Four. Five. Reinhart sitting up at six. Seven. Eight. Lili to her feet at nine. Ref going to give her the mandatory...and wave on Margot!"

Cassie: "Robbie all OVER Lili!"

O'Dell: "She is, indeed. Margot determined to finish this thing now, backs Reinhart into the ropes and has AT her. Ref looking in closely. Lili keeping the guard high, putting the body on sale. Margot buying some, but mostly working upstairs. Final seconds ticking away...and there's the bell! Reinhart survives, but a huge round for Margot!"

Tess: "And Robbie pulls into a two-point lead, 48-46 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Robbie looking to finish as we start the sixth. She's POURING forward at Reinhart, backing up the American blonde with hard shot. Lili willing to trade space for time here, jabbing back in spots, looking to manage the Aussie..."

McCarthy: "Just a matter of TIME now. Just a matter of TIME."

O'Dell: "Lili playing solid defense, staying off the ropes. Legs seem to be coming back around. Margot still fighting lead, but Reinhart able to score in the counter, not getting blown out of this thing at the moment anyway..."

Tess: "Fighting very smart. Easing her way back into it."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed, but it's Margot who's getting the better of things out on Asylum beach. Aussie with a nice combination and Lili responds with a solid right hand counter at the bell. Closer this time, but it's Robbie's round."

Cassie: "And Margot now leads by three, 58-55."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Into the seventh and we're back to where we were in the second, with Reinhart looking to cut get to middle distances, while Margot wants to range around the sand and stay at range, using that long left hand, putting punches together."

McCarthy: "Robbie just needs to be smart now. Big lead. Be SMART."

O'Dell: "Lili down but not panicking. She's working soundly, stepping in, getting off in combination. Margot willing to give some ground, working to stay in open sand and having success at times doing that. Good stuff from both blondes."

Cassie: "Sure is. Two Top Twenty bantams, and they look like it."

O'Dell: "Indeed, they do. We're under twenty to go in a very competitive seventh. NICE combination there by Lili and that forced Margot to back and cover and there's the bell. Close, but it's Reinhart who gets the points this time."

Tess: "And, Lili's within two, 67-65."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Eighth underway with both blondes working hard and getting work DONE, much as we've seen for most of the fight. Robbie working outside, moving the feet, kicking up sand. Lili not looking to get in the booth, just wants to cut and step forward to get off..."

Tess: "Tightly contested throughout. Only difference right now is the knockdown..."

O'Dell: "And, a big difference it is. Robbie a nice combination and LILI ROCKS HER! Reinhart staggers Margot with a right hand! American letting the hands go and DOWN GOES THE AUSSIE! A right hook sends Robbie crashing to the sand on her right side!"

McCarthy: "GET UP, YOU BUM! GET UP!"

O'Dell: "Reinhart to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Margot rolling to her belly at six. Pushes to hands and knees at seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Margot still on all fours as the count passes her by and it's OVER and your winner by KO8 is 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"

Cassie: "What a fight!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go across the street to Cassie Scerbo!"

Cassie: "I have our winner, Lili Reinhart, and, Lili, heck of a fight tonight..."

Lili (nodding): "Knew it would be. She's got the goods. Wasn't easy two years ago. Wasn't easy tonight. But, I got it done."

Cassie: "Two years ago, you were Unified Bantamweight Champion..."

Lili (smiling): "I was. And, that's exactly what I'm going to be again. Count on it."
