Emily P one blonde well accustomed to pro-Latina crowds, getting lots of work in the Miami area as the typical fair-haired “opponent”—she’s not shy about getting shoulder to shoulder and swapping Latina body-war style. Esposito pounded out a gritty duke in this one, but Procter made Jen work every step of the way.

This fight was even after 6 brutal rounds—every stanza, every minute a virtual mirror image of the others. Both girls leaned in cheek by jowl, rubbing heads, shoulders, nudging elbows and swapping hearty licks downstairs to the delight of the knowledgeable Miami crows. Both kept up a healthy work rate, though Jennifer was typically busier, Procter the heavier handed woman. Despite Emily’s thumping power to the arms and body of her foe, her inability to find Jennifer’s chin was the difference maker: Esposito buckled Emily’s legs in the third with a crisp right uppercut inside and was generally the more accurate, thoughtful puncher.

Down the stretch, Jennifer patiently, consistently proved the better woman, punching and bumping Emily to the same patch of canvas near the Procter corner and pounding away. Em never quit, but you could see her lumping up from Jen’s clubbing hooks and uppies; sitting in the ropes after savage hooks to the liver, Esposito took her shot at stopping Procter in a withering 7^th, battering Emily senseless at the ropes, but the blonde had proved her point: Jennifer eased up, stayed busy and contented herself with outhustling Procter to the finish line.

Bottom line: 7 rounds to 3 Esposito, Jen the better fighter outside (what little there was) constantly disengaging and re-engaging on her own terms to maintain initiative throughout. Inside, Jen’s interior defence was much better—Procter’s stubborn chin was on sale all night in comparison, Jen also proved adept at the subtle side of trench warfare, pushing Emily on the elbows to guide her, or reaching under with her left hand to pull Em’s left elbow aside, exposing blonde tummy to cramming Esposito right hands.
