BEFORE: "I'm feeling extra feisty," Rachel chirps in prefight, "and I'm up for giving Virginie a beating! I feel like I'm a little overlooked at flyweight: this is a good chance to remind folks what I'm all about. Ledoyen-busting is just the tip of the iceberg!" Virginie huffy: Rachael's talking like a favourite and Ledoyen doesn't like it. "Cook is overlooked because she is not worth looking AT," Virginie shrugs. "This is a Virginie Ledoyen showcase - Rachael is there to take my punches, nothing more. Perhaps SHE needs to be reminded of THAT!" Ledoyen in bright baby blue bikini; long dark curls loose; small white gloves. Rache in baby blue cashmere crochet two piece (tawdry); small white gloves; back to her dark locks for this one. Cook grinning, making flirty eye contact during ring instructions - taunting Virginie by mouthing the words: "I'm better" while ref talks.

During R1: Virginie planting, jabbing, looking to hook off the jab from a slight right-side lean. Cook in crouch, pawing jabs, then looking to jump in hooks-to-tits. Gentle clockwise rotation a natural consequence of the left hand punching: bit by bit, Virginie's getting the better of it. Minute in, Ledoyen really strokes Rachael a hook, turning Cook's chin and knocking her knees together. Ledoyen hooking over top, batting at Cook's head, then helping herself to right uppercuts tits and chin...Rachael's falling apart. Cook slugged out of her stance, stumbling away in tears: jailbreak Virginie as Ledoyen pounces in. Round ends to the sight of Virginie squared away, letting her hands go to lather poor Cook as Rache sits in ropes, covers her head and cowers for her beating. 10-8 Ledoyen...she's fierce back to her corner.

R2: Cook pulls herself together, comes out hooking. Left hand pound against Virginie's tits; dig her ribs; clip her chin...Ledoyen has to withdraw. Cook stalking in compact crouch - always looking to close and bang: Virginie shying away, getting leggy. Rachael the aggressor...Ledoyen spooked.

R3: Sweet-science from Virginie: she's working behind the jab, peppering up Rachael's face, pivoting-left to turn Cook's right flank. Rachael suppressed - out on the end of Ledoyen's poke: pretty Cook unable to penetrate - just a spectator as Virginie circles, taps out points. Bell: Rachael's face nice and pink from Virginie's frisky touch.

R4: Virginie boxing smartly, winning the round, when suddenly: Cook jumps in a stubby hook and changes everything. Virginie checked to chin...she clatters back windblown to ropes, lips parted in shock. Cook pouncing in on jug - hup-hup-hupping to scrounge those babies up: Virginie badly shaken, forced to clinch. Give Ledoyen credit - she's besieged throughout second minute - soundly thrashed about her ribs and breasts - but she gets herself together, clinches for breaks, and is able to regroup. Final minute - Virginie back ot midring, pumping the jab, legging out of the round scuffed up, but serviceable.

R5: Virginie walks Cook into an exquisite left uppercut to solar plexus: poor Rachael bunches up hurt; Virginie goes over to offence. Scrubbing, wide sidearm wallop shellacked across Cook's pale little back - she's swept into ropes, trembling. Ledoyen squaring away, pushing on Rachel's shoulders, then lashing her lefts and rights: gorgeous, limber licking administered. Poor Rachael! She's crying out in pain, covering up, bending forward off ropes and putting her back on sale. Virginie: heartless! She's PASTING Cook across her back - small fists bouncing and skidding across tight lower back. It's too much thumping for one little body: Cook crumbles to all fours, bleatiing and shivering in pain. That's it - Rache can't get off her knees: withering KO5 Virginie Ledoyen.

After: Ledoyen strutting about, face fierce: very motivated french girl really pours it to pretty American comp. AND THERE'S MORE! Ledoyen barging into Cook's corner after - hauling blubbering Rache to her feet by one arm, and pulling her roughly out for Walk of Shame duties! Cook beside herself - weeping/sniveling - unable to comprehend why she's being treated shabby. Virginie scowling, hardhearted - right arm strong about Rachael's waist, tugging and guiding the girl for display.
