During R1: Kris with cocky grin, walking Torrie down, lifting the jab off her thigh, pawing Wilson with it, slashing the right hand in—but Torrie blocking, fading back in good order. Wilson defensive minded, walking Kris into clinches, bogging her down—wrestler shows good strength in bodying Loken to ropes, pinning her down for the break. Stop and go, ho-hum action—but Torrie successful in bringing Loken down to her level—more waltzing an muscling then active punching as girls get re-acquainted.

R2: Kris still can’t land the searing right, but she’ getting form hook to gut, setting up inside…then getting swallowed up in Torrie’s determined clinching, Wilson cagey—she’s hitting on the breaks, drawing warnings for it—she’s catching Loken a nibbling little right hand as big girls fall in together, and more often than not, it’s Torrie walking  Loken to the ropes and laying on her until the ref intervenes, It’s big girl action at its ugliest, but it’s smart Torrie Wilson strategy—she’s gumming up the Loken machine through 2 frustrating rounds.

R3: Girls take turns operating out of the wrap early—left arms brawny around the opponent’s shoulders, right hands plugging away t beefy midriffs. Loken steps out to reload and TAKES A HOOK! Huge clapping shot catches the champ moving straight back—Loken caught unawares, stepping in fence post holes—she’s in serious trouble! Torrie’s eyes alight—she swings a sickening right hand to gut, paralyzing Loken chops the hook to temple, chops it again as Loken drifts to her left and KRISTANNE GOIES DOWN! Loken on all fours, shaking her head, but gamely beating the count. ON COMES TORRIE! Wilson’s had Loken hurt before and couldn’t close—she’s patient, cycling in the jab from the shoulder, bending in a walloping right as Kris covers, tries to roll with the blow. Systematic stuff from Torrie—she’s keeping Loken defensive with those hammer-rights up top, but doing business downstairs. Lusty lefts and rights tear it up downstairs—poor Kris groaning, crouching forward, giving up her back to Torrie’s heartless kidney strokes. Wilson more and more muscular, palming Kris upright, driving into that trembling gut, arm-curling short uppercuts to the chin—LOKEN BRAWLS BACK! It’s slug or go out from Kris—she starts winding up from her hips, trading lefts and rights with Wilson and this thing ends in a heartbeat: SMASHING right on the chin, CLOCKING left and LOKEN GIES DOWN! Kris beaten to punches as Torrie sits in the pocket and gambles—pays off huge as Wilson walks away the NEW middleweight champ via sensational KO3!

After: Wilson delighted, flops down the bull-roll a slumbering Kristanna Loken into her back, dropping a beefy cross-body onto the ruined ex-champ for a cheap thee count—burbling, dreamy protest on Kris’ wet lips as her body knows it’s being pinned, even if her brain doesn’t. Wilson hailed off and chastised, but she’s unrestrained in celebration—big upset win has HBO in a tizzy—wrestling ditz has knocked off boxing’s 800 pound gorilla—oh the humanity! Plus, people looking back at earlier Torrie/Loken meetings can see (or so they claim) tell-tale signs that Wilson was figuring Kris out—Torrie’s always fought Loken tough, now she’s broken through.
