Good bout between well traveled veterans who don’t secure as many paydays as they’d like—both hoping to get on somebody’s dance card with a good showing. So, with the intensity of women fighting for a job, these two went at it in hard hearted, business like fashion. In the end, Nicolette just wanted it more.

This was a no-frills, high work rate, shoulder to shoulder affair, both women standing their ground, leaning in cheek to cheek and digging away with constant, compact punching. Sheridan carved out a wide final score the hard way—outworking Moss punch for punch on the inside, hurting Moss with hooks in the second, sixth and seventh rounds and generally owning the workmanlike, clubbing exchanges. Only in the ninth and tenth rounds was Carrie able to move Nicolette back, seemingly wear her out downstairs and finally buckling her legs a hook in the last minute of the fight. Too little too late—Nicolette Sheridan shows she’s got something left in an honest, tough fight.
