Before: “There have been a lot of comparisons between Courtney and I,” Jen says in prefight, “comparison’s I don’t necessarily agree with. Courtney beat McCarthy, and McCarthy beat me, so Court’s all excited about salting me away and starting something for herself this year. That’s not going to happen—I won’t let it. There just is no way I’m letting Jenny and Courtney double up on me.” Cox upbeat—she DOES see herself at the apex of the triangle, and she’s anxious to prove it. “All I know is  a tired, worn down Jennifer Connelly struggling to hold Jennifer Aniston to a draw,” Cox smirks. “Connelly doesn’t have it anymore—we can all see it. With McCarthy down, I’m making it my mission to get Connelly out of that ring in spectacular fashion. I’m not just about beating Jennifer Connelly: the time has come to expose her as well. Cox is fit as a whip in scarlet bikini, hair in scruffy beach bun. Connelly in black bikini; ponytaoil with bangs sweeping across her brow; white gloves for both.

During R1: Connelly out aggressively, jabbing Courtney stiff to breasts, then hooking her temple. Cox backs away scowling, jabbing Connelly Connelly’s breasts: Jen slips inside Courtney’s poke to deliver another powerful hook upside the head, Court steps out, hops to her left: Connelly eyes narrowed, jabs hard to chest, driving Cox ropseside. Court picks mitts up, reading Jen’s intentions. Connelly with right hand at her chest starts whacking hooks—taking Courtney in her right flank, Tremendous batting barrage shakes slender brunette—she looks to answer but eats a blunt, straight right off her face. Connelly cold blooded, unleashing punches with an abrupt delivery, switching her shoulders and hips into the blows: she’s hooking Courtney’s jaw—pounding straight rights up the middle and COX GIOES LIMP! Court in distress, bleeding from the nose—she stoops  forward, hands gull-winged out to either side and CONNELLY PASTES AWAY! Jennifer seething as she lets hands go in tidy, vicious sweeping arcs. Cox tilting forward into face and jug music—sponging up a whirlwind of white leather and COURTNEY GOES DOWN! Connelly turning, stomping away, eyes blazing as Cox spills onto her face and it’s OVER! Good Lord—KO1 Jennifer Connelly.

After: Cox gently rolled to her back and brought around slowly—what a wipeout. Connelly roaring, showing emotion—she STORMS back from a sub-par Aniston outing, delivering the kind of emphatic statement many pundits wondered if she still had. “I’ve struggled in my last couple of fights,” Connelly admits in postfight, still grinning from the sensational whack, “and girls like Courtney have been all over that,. I just said to myself ‘no more crap!’—I’m not taking it from these girls. Courtney wants to talk big about me, she can back it up: when she goes out KO1, I expect her to shut her stupid gob.”
