Before: Jenny O’Dell’s raw beating of Taylor Cole on the beach doesn’t sit well with WB honchos, nor Miss Cole herself, leading to a pair of WB/BSE fights with the unmistakable air of vendetta about them. “Jenny had a good time on me,” says still-bitter Cole, dark eyes glittering at the memory of O’Dell’s relentless fists, “let’s hope she has good a time when I’m beating Kaley the same way. And nobody’s forgotten what Kaley did to Lori Loughlin—Cuoco has a lot to answer for too.” O’Dell taking a personal hand in Cuoco’s training in light of the common opponent, telling BLONDE! Magazine, “no way were we going to fight Taylor on sand—she’s definitely bigger and stronger than Kaley. Cuoco’s going to need to use her legs, use her mobility—she can’t stand and trade with Taylor. At the same time—I want to see Cuoco start setting down on her punches better—she hurts girls when she does, but she doesn’t seem to believe in her power yet. She needs to get Taylor’s respect or this could be a difficult fight.” Tale of the tape bears out Jenny’s concerns—girls making catchweight of 120 for this fight—but Kaley coming up, Cole coming down—Taylor looking VERY smug and strong on the scales as she flashes a double bicep pop. Cole in red bikini, white pin-dot print top, white floral pattern on the right hip, tie side bottoms—Cuoco in cami-strap white tankini top, blue and white splash print bottoms.
During R1: Feint, shoulder dip, ripping lead hook—Kaley smacks the taste out of Taylor’s mouth and leaves the brunette wobbly butt as blonde lands a respect-getter right away. Jenny O’Dell up out of her seat at ringside—“That’s the way Kaley!”—Cuoco smiling as she goes to work. Cuoco stepping right, back-handing the jab up underneath to flick between Taylor’s raised gloves—Cole frowning, hurt, following her nimble foe. Cuoco in her element—no jab from Cole, so Kaley circles, gets off with slashing crosses and hooks, then pivots away—putting a saucy hand at Taylor’s hip or pushing on her left elbow to sidestep her, Cole shaking off the poke and swinging lusty in the final minute—Cuoco with a sexy grin just slipping punches, left hand low, right under her chin, rolling blows with her lead shoulder, rotating her torso and sliding out of range with just-in-tine footwork, Kaley smirking, taunting Taylor with her eyes as girls pass en route to corners—classy blonde stuff in the first.
R2: Cuoco bossing Taylor with her legs—blonde glorying in her use of the ring, nimble movement around a hot and bothered foe. Cole stalking, dukes up, but obviously tentative—hadn’t expected Cuoco to hurt her so quickly and respect is buying Kaley space, time. Kaley not taking advantage however—she’s very pretty I there, showing the rising, back-hand jab, slapping it into a hook, stab-and-retract with the quick straight right, but she’s just tapping and slapping, then moving around her girl, Cuoco breezy through the first two thirds, embarrassing Cole with speed of foot and hand, turning her flanks, wrong-footing her and KALEY’S STUNNED! Cole constantly coming forward, finally nails Kaley a swinging hook as Cuoco tries to scoot to her right—punch bashes Cuoco back into the ropes, eyes blinking, mouth open, Cole scuttling in quick, bang-bang right/left on the waist to freeze Cuoco then rude Muy Thai style forearms harsh against Cuoco’s shoulder/biceps as Cuoco stands up behind her guard. Crowd booing—Taylor deliberately bullying—she’s pounding away forearms and body shots, staying right on top of Kaley at the bell, O’Dell out of her seat again—screaming at the ref—official tugs Taylor by the arm and scolds her—Cuoco hugging her arms in baffled outrage. Cole steals a raucous second as power answer speed this round.
R3: Kaley re-takes the initiative—lunging the jab in on Taylor’s tummy, back-handing it up to the face—ref warning Cuoco about the delivery of that punch. Cole stalking, her volleyball footwork outmatched for the most part by Kaley’s tennis legs—Cuoco able to maintain her distance, keep her back off the ropes, Tactical rangy stuff to Kaley’s liking—class evident as she controls her foe, steering Cole around the ring and minimizing brunette chances.
R4: Cole unpacks the jab, steps over to her left to cut off Kaley’s counter-clockwise step—brunette hounds blonde to the corners more effectively this round. Kaley forced to counter punch, rolling and weaving off the ropes, looking for sneaky right uppercuts—but Cole’s doing the consistent work. Taylor indiscriminate—pounding away to shoulders, hips, and biceps when she can’t get leather on tummy, breast or chin—brunette brutally effective where Kaley had been precise, but both are having their moments, Cuoco doing a nice job moving her head, not giving up the home run, but Taylor’s getting nice long looks at Cuoco’s flanks and torso, systematically bashing away—crowd often reacting to the odd loud spanking shot off ribs or tummy, Pushing and shoving after the bell as girls get all flashy-eyed and seething chested with each other—this thing’s even after 4 and both are feeling frustrated that the other hasn’t knuckled under yet.
R5: Kaley with that slick jab as she slides right,, freezing Cole—sets up a blistering right hand on the mouth, TAUT left hook off the face and as Cole sways hurt on the spot-Cuoco leans in on the front foot to hook those ribs, hook those ribs, kaley steps right—Cole thinks it’s over—then Cuoco jumps in AGAIN with ba smoking lead right, pounding the mouthpiece off Taylor’s teeth and getting brawny brunette to stagger backwards. Jenny bolt upright, hands framing her mouth as she screams “BODY! BODY!—Kaley tucking in as Cole hits the ropes and stoops forward in a hurtin’ earmuff stance, Cuoco digging up ribs and tummy with sexy shoulder-rotation, hup-hup-hupping ‘em in, then stepping to the side, neatly evading a panicky Cole counter-stroke. Kaley sliding back to mid ring, coaxing Taylor forward—Cuoco in control, but recognizing that Cole was taking the shots, blonde content to leg out the round, pile up her points, Cuoco pleased with the shiny patina of punishment lumping up on Taylor’s face this round: Cole sullen, confused in her corner.

R6: Kaley roaming as she pleases, lifting the jab into Taylor’s tummy and mouth, back-handing in defiance of the ref—Cole hands up, palms put as she tries to block the stick. Breezy shutout round from Cuoco—she’s able to step and slide around, walk Taylor into sudden combinations, then sidestep away from the receipt—Cole late on her punching, hasn’t solved the distance or timing equations in this fight.
R7: Kaley takes around off, shows what she can do when she doesn’t want to be hit. Blonde drawing some boos for defensive showboating, but Cuoco’s loving it: bending low, Pernell Whitaker style, dropping the right foot back and sliding out of range; spinning Cole, even coming up behind her and gathering the brunette up in a light rummy-hug—Taylor infuriated in the grasp as Kaley grins over her shoulder from behind, Cuoco having fun, but Jenny O’Dell doesn’t like it and neither do the judges—Cole gets the points for trying to make the fight.
R8: Cole throws a little beach at Cuoco, tackling blonde to the ropes, stacking her up and brawling her. Kaley tries to spin clear: Taylor gathers her up in one arms or the other and slings her back into the strands. Cole slamming away with those forearms against guard, ribs and arms—ref issuing repeated warnings—brunette willfully ignoring the advice to desist. Cuoco not punking—when she realizes she can’t get off the ropes, she picks her spots, punching furiously in rapid combinations to her foe’s breadbasket, determined to make Taylor pay for the bullying. Cole bashing away wide lefts and rights, still unable to check Kaley’s chin, but steadily wearing out the torso, and down the stretch, it all adds up. Taylor gets a crunching hook in under Kaley’s right elbow—Cuoco sags into ropes with a sick look on her face and Taylor keeps on her. Cole murderous as she sets and rips hooks, digging ton the liver and rightside ribs—Kaley frozen, soaking it up, curvy legs numb, but holding her up—crowd roaring. Cle giving it her all, reefing at Kaley with heartless, gut-wrenching punches, but Cuoco won’t go down. Cole chesting up at the bell, forcing eye contact: Kaley’s hurt, but defiant—ref separates young hellcats to encforce the break.
R9: Moment of truth for Cuoco—she felt Taylor’s power last round, hung on—now she gets back on her bicycle and boxes to restore order. Cuoco sticking to basics—jabbing and circling, never standing in front of Taylor, beating Taylor to punches and moving on her, Cole storming forward, but reactive—she’s waiting her turn, letting Kaley potshot her—brunette thinks just because she’s not getting hurt and she’s coming forward, she must be winning. Kaley able to recuperate, touch Taylor up and down, and dictate the round—blonde takes a slender lead into the 10th and final round.
R10: Taylor jabbing to Kaley’s chest to fix position, then driving in to wrap up around Cuoco’s waist and stampede her to the ropes. Cuoco hits hard, head whiplashing on impact, then she hunkers down because Taylor’s going for it! Cole muscular, getting her left shoulder low and heaving Kaley up into the ropes, then slam-banging away down there with strapping lefts and rights. Kaley can’t get out of there—she’s bumped and jostled, grabbed and bodied—blonde just tieing up as best she can, hanging head and arm on Taylor to bog brunette down, Bell to bell Cole, piling it on—tireless bludgeoning wears out Kaley’s midriff, arms and torso, but again, Cole can’t find the chin with anything substantial—Kaley showing genuine artistry in slipping and rolling under pressure, bell sounds—Taylor with her mouth on Kaley’s shoulders till drumming that tummy—ref has to take a hand to end this thing, Comes back a steamy Tractorpull Special: DRAW after 10.
After: Neither girl satisfied—both chesting up and trashing talking in the immediate aftermath—made worse when Jenny O’Dell gets involved and draws Taylor’s ire, Initial skirmish a case of Kaley’s slick style nullifying Cole’s slugging will and vice versa—both girls had moments but neither could impose her will. O’Dell sums it up for BLONDE! in the postfight throng: “We had a chance to end this thing in the second and Kaley backed off. Once Taylor got used to Kaley’s pop, I knew she’d be too strong to stop—Cuoco had her chance and missed it. It’s frustrating for me because I know how good Kaley can be, but she’s got to follow the plan. You absolutely have to work Cole’s body, sap the strength out of her. Where was Kaley’s body punching? You know what I mean? That’s why Taylor was so strong in the tenth—because Kaley didn’t touch her ribcage all night long.”
Kaley withstanding the roughhouse and hard punching gives herself a better grade. “Basically, I dictated to this girl the whole fight,” says Cuoco. “Could I have stopped her? Maybe, but why take the chance? I had her in my back pocket the whole jight, I was giving her a boxing lesson and loving it on her, Tennis girls have been beating up volleyball girls for generations—that’s what you saw tonight.”
Cole with radically different view: “After the fight when we got into it? I challenged Kaley to a winner-take-all 11th round and she totally punked out. Why? ‘Cause she’s got nothing left! I b###h slapped the fight out of her and I was rolling her up and the only reason I didn’t get the decision is because the FCBA doesn’t want to see beach honeys mopping up on their prize prospects!”
