Before: Fight stemming from a personal surfing-related incident between these two...Laura's just happy to get things into a ring. "Grace can talk all she want about what happened in Hawaii," Laura huffs, "but she's not going to be able to fudge what happens in this boxing ring! I'll come down to 118 to meet her, because I'm that confident I'm better. She thinks she's a badass bantam striker, but I don't care: when I hit her, there's gonna be movement!" Park a wiry bantam-smiter indeed: coaxing Laura down is a huge win for her at the negotiating table. "The only thing Vandervoort had in her favour was that tummy beef she's giving away," Grace smiles. "When we get in there - I'm going to make what I did to her on the beach look like a love-in!" Special Hooters co-promotion on this deal: Hooters girls providing the ring-card walks; loser of the fight has to don Hooters-suit and spend the day serving at the local restaurant. Grace in tie-dye blue/yellow/mauve bikini in horizontal bars; white gloves. Laura in midnight blue Into the Blue 2 bikini; white gloves.

During R1: Grace forward strong: wide, 3/4s overhand right chopping in palm-down against Laura's head sets Grace's weight on left (lead) leg - she leans in, licks lanky hooks in behind Laura's right elbow. Laura keeping weight on left leg as she slides back: she's batting both hands at Grace's flanks; jabbing while slide-stepping back (dragging that left foot); walking GP into tight-biting hooks to jug. Spirited two-way stuff: Vandervoort keeping hands up, partially blocking Grace's scything rights up top, but blonde body really paying the price as Asian hooks pile up. Laura doing well in her spots, especially when Grace doesn't jab on her way in. Park the harder hitter overall: those hooks behind Laura's elbow are sumptuous, limber whacks that momentarily freeze LV in her stance. Bell: snarling Grace throws a left forearm into Laura's breasts to get her out of the way: Vandervoort pushing forward in retaliation brings the ref in hot.

R2: Grace with rangy pressure: overhand, palm-down rights carving in at the join between Laura's neck and shoulder; lapping, licking hooks in right flank as GP leans in on left leg. Laura shying away, frowning: she pumps the jab even when retreating, showing her class. Midway through, Laura flops the jab out, leans in close, carrying a super-short right hand onto Gracie's chin with a chop: no backswing or arm at all on the shot - just Laura bending her body into it. Grace clouted - mouthpiece fluttering off her teeth: she's slobberknocked! Park wobbles away on slender stems, dark lashes blinking sleepily, lips pouting. Ropes: Laura stalking Grace - blonde tip/taps a decoy right/left up top, then punches a serious palm-down right into flat brown gut, slumping Grace into ropes. Laura turns over a palm-down left against Gracie's ribs, carving behind the elbow, really biting on bone. Park groaning, covering up face-in-gloves, keeping elbows pressed against her body: LAURA TUNES IT UP! Vandervoort all-in: feet set wide - she leans forward and starts a-lashin' - wailing both arms in loose-limbed, heavy strokes at Grace's shining flanks. OH THE WALLOP! Slender Grace bleating into palms, stricken, paralyzed on the spot. Laura beating ribs, shellacking flanks tic-toc rights and lefts - sleek limbs shivering as fists bounce off wiry torso and THE REF STEPS IN! Good lord: bad Grace Park stopped TKO2 Vandervoort.

After: Team Park stunned: Laura considered a 'soft' opponent coming in, but she proves an iceberg for the good ship Gracie. Laura grinning, clapping as blubbering Grace is helped into Hooters duds by a couple of leering waitresses, then taken by the elbows for her day's assignment. "She looks good in orange, don't you think?" Laura cackles in postfight, obviously delighted by poor Grace's predicament.
