BEFORE: Cuthbert advances over Evigan to get Greene...not a lot of people saw it working out that way. "I don't care what people think, or how often they write me off," says a pumped-up Elisha in prefight, "I know who I am and what I can do in that boxing ring. As far as I'm concerned, Briana was the better-skilled opponent and I smashed her to pieces: Greene's gonna get stopped well inside the distance. I promise!" Greene smug - brawny confident in her tank tops...she's not impressed by the weight of experience on Elisha's side. "Elisha Cuthbert has a history of quitting against strong-willed girls like Neve and Rachel," Greene shrugs. "I'm definitely in that mold, and that means a long night for 'Leesh. She took Bri to the ropes: that's not gonna happen against me. She outworked Bri inside: again, not gonna happen. Everything she counted on against Evigan isn't going to be there when we hook up. And when she realizes that, we're gonna see some classic blonde quit over the second half of this fight!" 2-piece stretch-cotton underwear for both - black for Elisha; red for Ashley - white waistbands. AG pushing Elisha against ropes, then hooking the body, then curling a tight overhand right up top: Cuthbert stops punching, starts soaking. Dying moments...Elisha sitting in ropes, slumped forward behind her gloves...Greene hunkering forward goes at the gut all brawny rights and lefts - just getting in there PUM! PUM! PUM! Cuthbert sobbing out at the bell, legs quivering: she doesn't go down, but she's tragically hurt - badly rocked to the body as Greene licks lips, pushes up off her blubbering blonde.

R2: Ashley grinning, eager to get back on: Elisha's legs still looking a little rubbery from that vicious body busting last round. Greene hunting body with gusto...weight on left (lead) leg...popping her hips/swinging her arms limber to strap in the blows. Cuthbert grimacing, giving ground early, but digging in before she hits ropes: spirited blonde resistance at the apron sees E bounce tightly-tossed mitts off skull, jugs and tummy. Toe-to-toe brawling erupts as Greene gives ground, then digs in: girls are bumpin' and a-bangin' midring! Tight, fish-hook right uppercuts from Greene making the difference: Elisha getting picked up tart, head popping up sleepy off her gloves - vulnerable for Greene's compact follow-on hooks.

R3: They're stepping directly to each other - bumping guards - digging hooks/chucking right hands. Tight, tasty, professional delivery - one girl covering up as the other bounces gloves off tight torso/toned arms/protected head. Each girl loving to dig hooks in behind the right elbow of the other - working the paunch, stoving in those ribs. Vicious back and forth swapping, until midway through...Elisha chips a little nuisance left uppercut to pick Greene up a smidge, then BURIES the left hook deep to liver. Greene sobbing out "G-AHHH!" doubling up, hubbing her body, backing away and TAKING A KNEE! Cuthbert fierce, glaring down and shouting "JUST QUIT, ASHLEY!" as ref's moving in. Greene up at 8, and give her credit: upon resumption she edges in snug with left shoulder to Elisha's chest, banging hooks to body and short right hands to head at close range. Ashley drops a big 10-8, but she's coming forward by the bell.

R4: Elisha storms forward, running the ring to attack Ashley in her corner. Bruising fare: brunette covering up tight - keeping elbows in close to throbbing ribs; Elisha baring her teeth, pouring on a hamhanded drubbing to brunette flanks. Ash weathers it, starts to answer: right uppercuts picking up Elisha's chin; left hooks checking her tits and jaw. Fight drifts to midring as Ashley bangs her way forward: Elisha digs in, lowers her head - re-commits her hooks to Ashley's trembling waistline. Greene grimacing, feeling Elisha's power but not shrinking from it: ASHLEY digs in, hooks the breadbasket, bumps her left shoulder as girls grind it up. Greene bouncing a tight-swiping right off Elisha's temple; digging E a left/right thump-thump to gut, then; picking Elisha up with a ringing left uppercut off the front (left) leg. Cuthbert clipped - face startled - she stumbles backward and SITS DOWN! E punched to her buns, looking up all astonished: Greene glaring down, nostrils flaring as she gets the answer knockdown to rule the fourth.

R5: Elisha getting another quick jump - tackling Greene back into her corner at the open. Torrid blonde punching - a one-way romp as Ashley is overwhelmed: Cuthbert pouring her heart and soul into the assault. Cuthbert ripping both hands to the body - her head pushing in between Ashley's gloves. Cuthbert clobbering Ash about the head and shoulders - bludgeoning the ears, then coming up the middle via short-shrug uppercuts. Cuthbert bodying up, stacking, bumping, headbutting, shoulderbutting: blonde just all up in Ashley's business - putting mitts on meat. Jug? You bet: Elisha into Ashley's rack via hungry, tightly turned hooks - curling the punches like she's trying to scoop those babies out of there. Midway through - it's all too much: Ashley blinking back tears, lowers herself to all fours to relieve pressure. She gets her break, but final minute more of the same as Elisha won't let up.

R6: Elisha storms out to clean up...Ashley won't have it. They butt heads midring; hook each other's bodies; plow each other's jugs. Elisha reaches in under Ashley's arms, trying to bull her back: Greene too strong, denies her blonde, then tries the same thing, only to meet similar resistance. Head and shoulders always bumpin' and grindin', girls dig and jerk short hooks and uppercuts, gasping whenever one of the other lands clean. Step by step it's Ashley...she's getting the better of Elisha's tits in close; clipping the chin more consistently; working the torso with heavier licks. Cuthbert's back hits ropes and you can see it in her eyes: dismay; fatigure; wonder at Ashley's deep reserves.

R7: Another brutal, hammer and tongs, shoulder-to-shoulder slugfest...this time it's Elisha slowly forcing her way forward. Down the stretch, Greene's back is on ropes: she's grimacing...blonde head in under her chin...her hands pushing on Elisha's shoulders as the blonde's in close, pumpin' the tummy. Cuthbert baring her teeth - stocky legs pushing to keep Ash pinned down - chugging assault once again pounding at stubborn brunette abs in hopes of finally reducing them. Bell: Cuthbert's banking insurance...ref has to pull her off from behind to stop the punching.

R8: Deep breath Elisha off her stool...then she's boring in again for the final push. Ashley dug in, but forced back: Cuthbert bumping her guard against Greenes; pushing her head in between Greene's mitts - anything to get brunette moving backward. Tremendous, thumping whacks belting away at Greene's tummy: Elisha's been there all night, digging up Ashley's reserves. Ropes: Greene mouthbreathing, eyelashes fluttering...she's hurting...not punching back...just trying to push Elisha off by her shoulders as blonde crowds in. Cuthbert squaring away - fighting off Ashley's chest: blonde shoulders rotating as she shoves in lefts and rights - pumping and pumping away at Greene's midsection. Midway mark - Ashley crying out: brunette ties up behind elbows, mouth moist and slack on Elisha's shoulder. E pushing her way free, sustaining pace: she's overwhelming the brunette middle - POURING in the hurt. Greene loosening, head lolling: Elisha just twitching her shoulders to side to side, clubbing in short lefts and rights against hated Twilight jugs, or getting back into that tummy to scoop it out. It's too much...Ashley's eyes flutter shut...she's out on her feet...going limp and helpless at the ropes as ref jumps in. TKO8 Elisha Cuthbert in fight of the year type fashion.

AFter: Cuthbert bawling - breaking down as she humbles Evigan and Greene back to back to reboot what had been a young career at the crossroads. Wars with Neve, Rachel, and Dani finally paying dividends: it was Cuthbert's will prevailing as both she and Ashley were tested to their limits tonight. "I've been there before," a battered, puffy-faced Elisha shrugs in postfight, "Ashley hasn't. When she hurt me in the second, I knew what I had to do to come back at her and knock her down in the third. She was tough, and determined, but she didn't know if she could keep going: I did. I had to go through this at Neve's hands, and now Greene's taking it from me. Maybe one day - if she's strong enough - she'll be a better fighter because of it. Today though...today's all about Elisha Cuthbert!"
