STABLE WAR

Before: Jewel gets the champ but not title shot, rumours have it that Landry’s was the loudest voice behind the scenes in making sure the stable war would not result in turn over. “Ali’s got respect for Jewel,” says on pundit. “Kilcher’s a come-all-day fighter who throws combinations an24 d Landry doesn’t like to train for that. Champ LOOKS to be in good shape, but you never know—if she starts blowing in there, fighting in spots. Kilcher can take advantage, Jewel in teak bandeau bikini, slicked back ponytail. Landry in red bikini.
During R1: Shutout Landry, classy big woman boxing. Ali using her legs, nice and relaxed, hands are a little low as she drops one-twos onto Jewel’s face but brunette anticipating well, stepping out to maintain her distance.
R2: Landry drops the one-two between the mitts, sells the step out then walks Kilcher into a glorious left uppercut, Jewel stunned, hands at her chest—Landry shifts her hips into a shattering right cross that puts blonde on her back in a heartbeat. Kilcher beats the count, hideous knots forming on her forehead and Landry applies the beat down. Systematic jabs, long right hand potshots as Ali hammers away to the head and chest, stepping away, rotating counterclockwise—Jewel shambling forward, taking punches—badly hurt, reeling at the bell.
R3,4: Ali punishing Jewel, but bit really pouring it on—this is patient, methodical Lennox Lewis stuff from outside. Ali dropping her hands to her waist as she steps around her staggering foe—brunette relying in her legs and reflexes as Jewel’s still making the odd rush forward. Landry laying in hard right hands off the jab—she’ll punch into Jewel’s chin with a straight cross, haul a wide right hand into Jewel’s breasts with a thunderclap plop, and occasionally look for the right uppercut, immediately clinching u around Jewel’s head after throwing it to smother receipt.
R5: Jewel with gloves at her lips, reduced to loading up and swinging by Ali’s legs, but Landry complacent after complete domination to this point. Jewel coming forward in a low, side to side crouch—Ali backs straight up, turning her shoulder to slip chopping lefts and rights but at the ropes—Landry mis-times her turn an catches ALL of a plowing Jewel right hand on the jaw, Kilcher throwing her weight behind the punch, slams Ali’s head to the side and LANDRY GOES DOWN! Ali limp as she peels off the ropes to land on her back in a daze—Kilcher blinking down, almost as stunned herself to have lowered the boo,. Ali showing championship level heart in pulling herself off the canvas, but she’s huuuuurt Jewel finally able to wade in, get her head under Ali’s chin, push and probe at Ali’s arms ten RIP away with sudden 2 and 3 punch bursts. Landry soaking up sock on her ribs and belly pulling down Jewel’s head, tieing up the blonde’ arms, Down the stretch, big brunette able to counter off the ropes, holding and hitting Jewel, never letting the hands-free room to punch.
R6: Shutout Landry. Ali just getting her and legs and wind back, keeping g the jab on Jewel, using the ting. Kilcher lumping up badly in the face but still coming—she’s had a lot taken away from her tonight tactically, but she’s still got the will to move forward.
R7: Bets two way action of the fight as Landry starts to slow, standing and fighting more often as Jewel tracks her down. Ali basically jab/right hand, placing her punches well onto Jewel’s face and breasts. Kilcher soaking up the bombs to get close, then letting her hands go—rattatting her way up Ali’s flanks to finish on the jaw, prompting big woman clinches as Landry walks her girl back for breaks. Down the stretch, Landry lands a nice one two up the middle, hops back a step and walks Jewel into another GORGEOUS right uppercut—big head snap, blonde baby-stepping back on her heels, hands outstretched—Landry doesn’t follow up, squandering a prime opportunity to close Jewel out.
R8: Shutout Jewel! See what happens when you don’t finish? Kilcher issuing (finally!) a stubby jab just to get Ali backing up, then driving in with the right hand beneath the left breast to shake Landry’s legs at the ropes. Heart punch has Landry sobbing, leaning forward to clinch—Jewel brawling mindlessly, keeping her head on Landry’s chest, wrestling those brawny arms back, and BRINGING it to the champion’s gut. This is the kind of thing Landry hates—that swampy, body on action, her butt in a corner, her ribs taking a mauling.
R9: Ali moves the fight back to the enter of the ring, keeping Jewel at the end of her punches, but no longer really looking for the hurt. Kilcher’s face horrifyingly punished, but she’s still bobbing side to side, trying to solve Landry’s range. Kilcher having spots, but the big woman’s clinching almost as soon as Jewel gets inside—blonde complains to the ref about the excessive holding during the break.
R10: Ali steps it up. This is the hard jab—the punch that stuns girls, leaves them dazed and vulnerable for moments at a time. Slashing right hands arcing down onto Jewel’s face, shaking her legs, backing her up. Kilcher getting hammered, stumbling backwards, then shambling forwards once more—Ali hanging back, eating her up with the jab, then nailing her with power right hands—hard to watch for Kilcher fans. Jewel all heart—she’s suffering, staggering, but CONSTANTLY regrouping and trying to get to Landry. Down the stretch, Ali with that banging straight one-two, fades back, luring Jewel forward and once again sets up that vicious right uppercut—just a tight, curling punch as Jewel falls in. Splattering impact halts Jewel in her tracks—Ali able to palm up, step right, and clip another beautiful right uppercut from outside Jewel’s left shoulder, snapping the blonde’s battered face back. Jewel dropped to her back, tries to roll to her side, but she’s done. KO10 Ali Landry.
After: Landry strutting, crowing in victory—Jewel suffering terrible sustained punishment in this fight, just unable to get her fight plan over as the bigger woman had her way. “She’s as tough as they come.,” allows Ali in postfight. “I’d say she was knocked out in the second and just kept going on heart alone—amazing! Was I hurt? No. She caught me in the fifth, but I saw it well, rolled with it—I basically lost my balance. After that, I shut her down and worked her over pretty methodically, I mean, I KNEW I’d stop her, but I wanted to soften her up like a professional, make sure of it, you know?”
