HISC VS LOOKOUT! BOXING STABLE WAR

BEFORE: Shocking state of affairs sees Claire having to pull HISC fat out of the fire: victory over Simpson necessary to earn a split with upstart LookOut. "I'm used to being the stopper," Claire shrugs in prefight, "although I thought Kris might have shown a bit more heart in what I considered to be a very winnable contest. Now: Jessica. She'll try to pressure me and get jug-weight on me, but that's easier said than done. I'll beat her with my legs and brains - create puzzles for her in the ring. Should be fun to watch...kinda like one of those lab rats trying to navigate a maze to get cheese. Only dumber." Simpson working out Claire's analogy on paper, then blushing crimson: Jess remembers having good minutes on Claire last time they fought. "I know how to fight Claire Danes - no matter how smart she thinks she is!" Jess insists in rebuttal. "I'll chase her down and punch, punch, punch! Duff and me are built to beat girls like Claire and Kris: we're just too strong! When I get Danes on the ropes...ooh, I'm just gonna smash her!" Jessi's face beet red, fists clenched at podium: you get the gist. Claire in racy leopard print push up with black straps; boy leg black felt bottoms; small black work out mitts; gymrat ponytail with messy bangs. Jess in hulking tan lace push up; pink bikini bottoms; small white mitts; hair loose.

During R1,2: Identical rounds of Claire playing matadora to Jessi's bull - turning Simpsy round and round midring. Danes pivoting clockwise around planted left heel - shocking her jab to Jessi's face, or twisting it against heaving cleavage. Occasionally, Claire will crouch down, accept Jess onto the left shoulder, and ease her back outside - thoroughly messing with Simpsy's rhythm and distance. Claire also pivoting around a nasty quick-cuffing hook to Jessica's jugs: Danes very diligent about establishing to rack through 2 systematic heats.

R3: Better pursuit, more volume from Jessica problematizes Claire's execution. Danes chased out of her stance, forced to scamper: Simpson jiggling forward all jugs-a-jumpin' willing to spray punches in mindless fashion to get Claire running. Danes loping the ring, changing directions - leaning back on her hips all wide-eyed as swinging haymakers juuuust miss chin. Claire picking spots to chop-chop tidy one-twos against Jessi's breasts: Simpson gasping when smote, looping back hateful right hands in a sloppy, wide-ranging third. BREAK: Simpsy scowling as icepacks are applied to bulging jugs...Claire's really getting in there tonight.

R4: Midring, clockwise rotation - Claire dictating terms, punctuated by spurts of Simpsy free-swinging violence. Danes working around her jab, PUMPIN' poke to jug - pivoting left - then sticking face as Jess turns into it. Simpson roaring up out of her crouch at times - heaving leather: Claire leaning back/disengaging, circling the ring and curling back to her girl, always keeping the action midring. Danes left hand constantly sampling Jessica - pounding her face; working her jugs; sticking down into her body. Claire's been grazed, but not hit clean through 4: she makes cool eye contact with touched-up Jess at bell.

R5: Ka-BOOM! Jessica labels Claire a swinging right off the thigh as Danes executes pivot-left: crashing jaw-blast unhinges Claire's knees, sends her reeling ropeside. Jess hurtling in - finally getting her terms: head smashes into Claire's clavicle - hands palm hips and Jessi's PUMPIN'! Simpson gritting her teeth, shoulders rotating as fists chug amidships: Claire groaning, reaching to tie...this is what HISC planners hoped to avoid tonight. Jess hard to budge off her spot when she gets position: she's wriggling/pushing on Claire - squirming out of clinches and continuing to bombard ribs/waist. Danes mouth open in pained grimace: she can't get out of there...all she can do in control Jessi's head and restrict the punishment to torso/waist. Bell: Simpsy stamping on the spot, still grinding on Claire...ref pulls seething little brawler off a panting, ramshackle Danes.

R6: Claire restores order via jab/pivot routine - encircling Jess midring. More punishment administered to Jessica's breasts: Claire in there via twisting jabs/cuffing hooks. Danes leaning out over front (left) foot - bringing the odd hesitation right - back (right) heel up off canvas unless she needs to lean back suddenly out of range. Simpsy lumping up nicely, draws on reserves of fury late to chase Claire out of her stance: Danes unhurt, but forced to scamper, momentarily lifting the siege on Simpsy's face/rack.

R7: Simpson reckless, pinwheeling both arms at Claire, charging in...it's exactly the right approach. Danes attempting to pivot-clockwise in orderly fashion, but spooked off-course: even as Claire's disengaging, Jessica's turning-and-slugging, trying to make contact. Middle minute, Claire gets her face smacked sideways by a series of looping right hands: Danes staggered, but able to stumble out of range before the follow-up bomb can land. Simpson jiggling all over the place - frequently plowing into ropes as Claire slides to the side - but Jessi's pressure constant. Claire loping, keeping her distance, coughs up points as Jiggly Jess has her juggy way through 7. BREAK: Claire getting enswell on her cheekbones, water...trainer tells her to "disrespect those jugs".

R8: Claire fighting off ropes - leaning forward to fit short-jerk right uppercuts to jug - then leaning back to pull swatting lefts across Jessi's rack for tasty clip-clap combos. Simpsy wading through it - pushing Claire into ropes - churning at her. Jess wild - plowing away palm-down lefts and rights while leaning in - hitting Claire's ribs/thighs/arms. Ref issuing warnings as Jessi's not crotching Claire, but she's often way low: Seething Simpsy impatient to get back on after breaks. Claire panting, drenched in her own and Jessica's sweat: Danes having a tough time getting separation this round. Leads to bitter, scrounging two way exchanges: Claire snatching tight, cruel licks against rack - occasionally getting her lowered shoulder into Jess to lever her back. Simpson whining in pain, but refusing to back off - crouching low and hurling wide right hands into Claire's flank to begin scrounging sorties against the Danes torso. Brutal stuff both ways...but this is Jessica's fight. Bell: seething Jess pulled off her foe from behind...she wriggles out of ref's grasp and actually attacks Claire again, forcing Danes to cover up in panic.

R9: Claire grim-faced, cold-eyed, panting: Jessica's crazy pressure taking it's toll on the sorceress. Starts at midring:
1.) Claire in forward aspect - punching lead right into Jess-jug
2.) Claire shifts weight to back (right) leg, eyes wide, lips pursed as she claws hook across jug.
3.) Jessi boring in, arms crossed right atop left...she ducks, then lunges into hook, clobbering Claire ropeside.
4.) Simpson plowing into Claire: Claire meeting her with right uppercut/left hook combos.
5.) Jessica stamping on the spot, buttocks ringing, fists digging/whirling/clubbing until Claire ties up for ref's break.

Again and again, pattern repeated. Most alarming for Claire: Jessica crowding inside at ropes, looping hard-to-detect right hands from down low, routinely clocking Claire's head aside. Break: Danes getting enswell on left eye; Jessi seething, chest heaving.

R10: First minute - Claire denies battle - scooting and hopping away to leave Simpsy swinging big at air. Second minute - Claire curls in on Jess: Danes' shoulders hunched, fists grouped together at her chest...she's looking to slug! Claire: muscular left hook to jug as she's twisting torso-right. Claire: chopping right to jug - turning it over palm-down for twisting contact. Claire: twisting torso-right again - left hand starting out well behind her buttock as she buggywhips it up and around, smiting jug as bitter a stroke as Simpson's ever received. Jessi staggering backward for the first time, eyes blinking back tears: hateful rack-attack has Simpsy spellbound! Stays in that vain...Claire walking shorter woman down all big-girl - rip-snatching away on rack, bringing those mitts back quick, staying supple on her hips to deliver slashing paint-brush strokes. Bell: Claire chest heaving, forcing eye contact so hard it bruises: that's UD10 Claire Danes CLOSE!

After: Hard feelings in aftermath - Wolfpack lasses shoulder to shoulder with Claire, pushing-hands on LookOut girls as security tries to intervene. Danes able to lash out a right hand slap to Jessica's left eye around one official's back - leads to an extended scrum as grown men struggle to restore order. "I stabilized our front," Claire says all hands-on-hips, I'm-in-charge in postfight. "After Kris put us in the hole, I knew I had to send a message to LookOut, so Jessi caught a pasting. Didn't have to go all-jug, all the time on her, but I think she'll remember it, and it's a good way to send them all packing. Overall, you know - Mish was underchallenged; Eliza and Kris under-performed: I want to see crisper performances from all three of them going forward. No way LookOut should have been able to nick us for 2 like this."
