Before: Brandy getting in Catherine’s face every opportunity she gets--slightly smaller blonde acting like she’s the big woman in this fight and promising a big-woman thrashing of the featured Jones. “Everyone knows Jones fights small--I’m walking through her when we fight,” crows Brandy. “Jones is just another protested movie star--that’s all there is to it.” CZJ reportedly livid at the Penthouse Pet’s insolence--smoldering responses do look  a little like fear when Jones lets Brandy have the stage. Brandy with dirty blonde hair, orange bikini, CZJ in red bikini. Ledford chesting up hard during stare down, nudging Jones off balance--blojde keeping up the pressure to the opening bell.

During R1: Brandy goes right at Jones--Catherine willing to allow Ledford in close as both girls love to chop it up inside. Jones leaning in with gloves at her face, dipping her shoulders and trying for short uppercuts--Ledford with her hands at her stomach, placing her head to either side and hacking at Jones’ middle--brisk give and take as both women stand their ground. Final minute--Brandy wants it more, chugging up the gut with rolling lefts and rights to finally back Jones to the ropes. Catherine purely defensive, rolling with punches--Ledford wearing out the Zeta Jones midriff at the bell.

R2: Ledford back on top early--she’s cuffing and swatting Jones’ firm paunch, shouldering the brunette back, living up to pre-fight promises of being the stronger girl. Jones adjusts, creates space with her jab, begins stepping to the right and JAMS a short counter right hand over the blonde’s lower left that stops Ledford I her tracks. Jones takes over, dipping to the left to dig that trademark hook into Brandy’s belly, doubling it up to the chin and hacking the right hand back down onto the cheek to keep Brandy teetering. Ledford stooped forward, getting worked over as Jones lathers away past the bell.

R3: Brandy using her own jab now--pries her way into Jones’ breadbasket and gets those short rising lefts and rights into Catherine’s jugs as the brunette chooses trade over defense. Jones clubbing jug herself--girls taking turns getting underneath each other and stuffing away on the inside. Final minute--once again, Ledford’s desire wins out--she gets Jones moving backward with a series of clubbing side to side lefts and rights, gloves bouncing hard off  Catherine’s chest and face. Round ends to the sound of Ledford punishing Jones to either side--brunette with her elbows in, face pinched as Ledford inches into the lead.

R4: Ledford’s made Jones a believer--brunette wants no part of it inside, stepping right and left, unashamed to slidestep back to maintain her distance. Ledford walking straight in--she’s moving her head well, but she’s taking the Jones jab in her gut--Catherine sticking her and moving away, just measuring. Midway through, Jones jabs the gut, slidesteps back to pick Ledford up with the check hook, slips in under Brandy’s wild right hand and NAILS the blonde a night-cap hook on the chops! Ledford in freefall, stumbling to her left, eyes wide in shock, Jones stepping with the shellshocked blonde, bracing her with the right glove in the chest then RANSACKING away with hooks to the ropes. Ledford hitting the strands in disarray--Jones slicing in under the breast line with savage, short little rips to break her down, then clipping tight uppercuts, putting Brandy’s head on a bobble. LEDFORD GOES DOWN! Brandy sinking to her knees, face blank, hands reaching pathetically around Jones’ hips as the brunette dances back--Brandy spills to her face and its OVER! KO4 Catherine Zeta Jones.

After: Jones smiling, loving the sight of Ledford--Brandy giving Catherine everything she wanted but making some tactical errors that allowed Jones to turn puncher very effectively in this fight. Brandy also maybe believing her own hype too much: she’s a strong girl, but could have boxed more--Ledford going right at the wily brunette who knows her angles. Sharp punching in puts Jones right back where she wants to be.
