BEFORE: Paris attempting to slap Maria right hand during first photo-shoot: results in barrage of closed-fists from an enraged Menounos as security rushes in. "This chick is a blight on boxing, not to mention the whole entertainment world," Maria seethes at podium. "I'm SO going to knock her out - I can't even tell you. There is no way in HELL I'm letting Paris finish this fight!" Hilton dismissive in rebuttal. "Let's look at the facts," Paris says at podium, still wearing large, circular sunglasses. "Maria's a failed actress, clinging to the spotlight by becoming an entertainment reporter. That's what she's made of: failure. Look at me: I'm the most famous, the most successful, the hottest blonde woman on the planet. Do the math: Maria Menounos is in way, way over her head. Way!" Paris in pink push up bra/pink bikini bottoms; hair in low braid. Maria in green bikini top/orange bottoms; black gloves; hair in sporty ponytail.

During R1: Paris pushing jabs to Maria's chest - eating withering hooks and crosses in receipt. Paris backing up under intense face-pasting: Maria clobbering away lustily, baring her teeth as she bends into her swings. Ropes: Paris covers up face-in-gloves, cringing as Maria squares away to bat shivering, straight-arm lefts and rights off lean blonde flanks. Paris clinches - mouth open on Maria's shoulder: Menounos shuts Hilton's mouth with a shoulder-butt, pushing Paris deep into ropes for ref's break. Resume: more free-swinging pressure from Maria - taut body shredding in muscular relief as she twists into the pitches: Paris growing more and more panicked - stumbling away from violence. Down the stretch...Paris sliding to her right along ropes...wide right from pursuing Maria pounds off Paris' face, draping her awestruck against cables. Rampaging, chugging body assault softens Paris up...Maria leaning forward, deploying both arms in limber lapping motions...then she's shoving Paris upright by her shoulders to prop her up. Maria pitchin' from her pockets, swinging for Paris' head: Hilton's wrists crossed at her chest, staring as lefts and rights begin detonating off her face. Hilton's long legs buckle, slumping her back into ropes...Maria stays on her, sweeping in the rights and lefts, beating Paris unconcious on her feet. Hilton suffering a few more concussive wallops before pooling at Maria's feet: ref bodies seething Menounos away as Paris rolls onto her stomach KO'd. KO1 massacre, Maria Menounos.

After: Not much for Maria to prove in this one, but she does Paris the way she's supposed to, allowing no surprises to spoil the night. "I told myself it would be a personal insult if this girl got out of the first round with me," Maria relates. "She has no business in the ring, and she sure as hell has no business managing outside the ring; putting her to sleep is something I've wanted to do for a good long while now!"
