BEFORE: "Dani's plunge is the saddest thing I've ever seen," special commentator Allison Mack reports with glee at ringside. "After savage beatings from me and Hilary Duff, Dani's being babied like you wouldn't believe. Yes - Accola is taller, and she's the KIND of fighter who can give Fishel problems - but Candi's painfully thin and undergunned. It's a safe fight for Dani, but it's also 'must win' - because Fishel has seen her marketability greatly reduced by her lack of compete in her own space. It's especially tough at Foxfire with star flyweights, a gorgeous blonde in Laura Vandervoort, and a hall of famer in Jen Garner...Dani's a bit of a an ugly duckling in that glamour stable. A pudgy, punch-drunk ugly duckling who can't stand her ground against the best anymore. There, I said it." Dani in purple cashmere crochet bikini; bouncy, full-bodied dark hair and very dark tan; small black gloves. Candice in orange bandeau bikini with ruffled top; braided pigtails to either collarbone; small black gloves.

During R!: Concerned expression on Accola's face...she's jabbing into Dani's pate/raised guard, but falling back quickly - nothing on the pokes. Fishel bobbing forward - crossing/uncrossing her arms - looping and overhand right to spook, then stepping in vicious hooks to hurt. Accola's scamptering footwork keeping her relatively safe...she's putting nothing on Fishel, but Dani's coming up short on most of her haymakers. Mack during the break: "Fishel's looking sluggish - not able to cut off the ring or get on top of Candice. Doesn't look good for Dani early!"

R2: Accola pesky-jabbing and scooting...occasionally standing ground to scrub a furious series of criss-cross lefts and rights against Dani's head/shoulders, then sidestepping. Fishel wiped to the side - still misfiring on her hooks: Dani having trouble whittling down the distance on cautious, but very leggy/willowy blonde through 2.

R3: Dani stubbing out the straight right, jamming Candi in her chest: blonde girl forced to ropes and soundly beaten for the first time. Candice overwhelmed - butt-in-ropes, stooped forward face-in-gloves - she's cringing as Dani bounces heavy leather off flanks/ribcage. Fishel pushing in, getting the body-on: Dani turning back the clock, working Candice over like the Dani of old. Classic shove-and-slug - Fishel ripping hooks off the bump, beating Accola savagely in her body. Candi crying out, tying up around Fishel's head or elbows...Fishel generally able to shrug herself free before ref's breaks can offer Candice some respite. 10-8 Fishel sends Accola wobbly-butt and blubbering to her stool - Mack dismissing the work as 'pedestrial punching'.

R4: Accola running for her life - face clearly fearful - her rangy loping only stops when she's clinching Dani for breaks. Fishel boring in, constantly pressing the pace...Accola hounded to perimeter and pursued as Dani gets closer and closer. Down the stretch, Fishel finally tackles Candi into ropes - hammers her torso sledgehammer rights and lefts to paralyze those legs - then it's rich, thick shove-and-slug until Accola drops to all fours. Dani smiling - jogging back to her corner for the break. Accola a shivering wreck, blinking unhappily on her stool as Mack portrays Fishel's finishing run as "sloppy".

R5: Candice rubbery legged - trying to jab Dani off: looping right hand clouts blonde upside the head, sends her reeling to ropes. Dani pushing in...Candi with hands cupping Fishel's ears, controlling her head: Dani's shoulders rotating as both arms pump leather to Candi's slender little waist. Barbaric body work shuts off Candice' slender stems - she wilts to all fours, gasping and cringing. Accola bravely off the deck, hugging battered ribcage during her 8 count: she's an overwhelmed beauty just stooping forward in sullen crossed-arm. Dani unleashing - jugs a-sloshing side to side as she beats Candi's arms/flanks; Dani pushing in on Candice to stack her, all the better to get at her waistline. Blunt, bludgeoning lefts and rights beating Accola senseless...she finally bellies-in at Dani's feet, whimpering in a puddle, arms wrapped about pain-wracked middle as Fishel struts away the KO5 victrix.

After: "Shameful," Mack chides in her less-than-objective commentary - but Dani's upbeat in postfight. "Candi's a young gun, and you always have to respect young legs coming in," Dani says. "She gave me a good tussle, but my pressure was too much for her. I closed on her, took away her height, took away her legs, then went to work. She's very brave, but I could tell it was only a matter of time before she collapsed. It's a bit of a step back for me - just a regrouping fight. I'd had some subpar outings and it's just good to get my timing back and dish a thumping now and again
