Before: Punchin’ Persians lace’em up--each with strong opinions of the other coming in. “Fighting that hurtling, ballistic style of Navi’s requires a lot of confidence,” Bell says in prefight, ‘and I think Rawat’s confidence has been shaken by what Jessica was able to do with her. I’m looking at Navi now, and I don’t care how tough she talks--she took a special, career altering beating from Biel that left Rawat in tatters, She’s a discouraged girl, she’s damaged goods, and she’s making a mistake in getting in with me right now.” Navi bristling at Cat’s high handed tone--Rawat feeling her first taste of FCBA gossip-sting in the wake of her setback against Jessica. “Ask my sparring partners if I’m discouraged,” says a defensive Rawat, eyes glaring, “IF you can wake them up. I’m gonna go right at Cat and get her out of there. She forgets, I had Jessica hurt early and let her off the hook: I won’t make that mistake with Bell, once I shake her, I’m going to finish her--that’s a promise!” Bell in electric blue bikini, shoulder length, shiny black hair (straight);white gloves. Navi in vibrant peach bikini, hair in black tangle-curls; white gloves. Some hard staring during ring instructions--Cat uncharacteristically belligerent, refusing to touch gloves (not that Navi’s offering).

During R1: Cat in wide stance midring, sorting Navi out the hard jab up top; dropping a “B” right hand (blocked); digging a firm hook to Navi’s paunch; swivel-stepping left while jabbing at Navi’s noggin. Rawat deep-crouching, swiveling on her front (left) heel to square--very menacing posture as Navi uptempos from the get-go. Bell sticking and moving--patient, calm: good head movement from Rawat as she weaves side to side, bibbing stick. Minute mark, Cat drops a one-two, then bats away a brace of hooks, taking Navi in her flank as she’s crouching. Rawat soaks it, then erupts--VICIOUS Jake LaMotta hook out of the crouch shatters against Cat’s jaw: BELL’S HURT! Cat’s knees locked up--she stork-steps it to ropes, badly, badly disoriented: ON COMES NAVI! Rawat with a minute-and-a-half on the clock: she piles in hard, pressing a limp-framed Cat hard to cables. Navi’s head, gloves, shoulders all piled in on Cat’s chest--Rawat pawing at bell’s hands, bringing down the guard then HARMING the TE lightweight. Ripping, short rights and lefts taking n Cat in her gut--Navi showing Tyson-like ability to double up either hand, coming off body with a whistling uppercut. CAT’S SHIPPING HURT! Busting body shots crippling the already dazed vixen, uppercuts smashing her skull back loosening her knees--oh, she’s getting clubbed, CAT’S RACK GETS~ JACKED! Navi’s all up in that world-class bosom--shoulders chugging, fists mugging--Bell’s hulking jugs bunching up as she sits limp in the ropes and THE REF STEPS IN! Good lord--TKO1--Navi Rawat!

After: Cat bleak, stunned, stopped to the jugs by a Navi Rawat determined to erase all memories of her Jessica Biel debacle, Rawat roaring, hands high as she struts the ring, beating her chest with the right gloves for emphasis--she jus blows Catherine Bell’s doors off with the all-out early blitz. “They said it was an accident when I took out Casta,” Navi gushes in post fight, “they said Casta’s chin-shot and wasn’t up to taking my punches. Well what’s gonna be the excuse this time--HUH? I just shredded Catherine Bell--CATHERINE BELL! If I’m not the hottest prospect in boxing, show me who she is so I can knock her out!” Bell in dazed denial, woozy and crestfallen--speaking quietly with Farrell but never meeting Terry’s eyes, Tough night for one of the classiest acts in all boxing, Rawat striding by in the post-interview throng, shouts :How’s your confidence, Cat?” earns a sullen glare from Bell--former champ genuinely hurt by that crack.
