Before: Aging gunslinger Larue facing down another hot daytime prospect: Eva giving away a few pounds, but retaining a hefty advantage in experience--she’s calm cool and collected in prefight. “I’ve seen tape of Nadia contesting La Conquista and some wrestling stuff--she’s supposed to be a heavy handed boxer, but I couldn’t find any good footage of her. I’ll lay back early, suss her out, gauge her power: if I feel I can take her out, I’ll go ahead and end it, otherwise I’ll box her for the decision. ‘Days’ girls tend to be lazy, pampered creampuffs--I’m not worried about this kid.” Nadia upbeat, breezily confident--as far as I’m concerned, Larue’s just the tip of the iceberg. “I can be the best 130 pounder in the game,” virtual unknown assets in prefight. “Most girls in my position would be thrilled to be facing Larue on a PPV, but for me, she’s just a means to an end, I’m going to showcase on Eva--really punish her and push her around. I’ve got Ali Landry skill; Monica Bellucci power and Nadia Bjorlin looks! What more could a girl ask?” Nadia in champagne underwire bikini (bra style top); Larue in white tie-side bikini, blonde-frosted hair in pretty low ponytail.

During R1: Stop and go action--both girls falling in after jabbing--pushing, shoving and slugging until ref’s breaks. Nadia very strong in the grasp, walking Eva back, bodying her around, Larue compensating with craftiness, pushing her girl behind the elbow to turn her, sidestepping while maintaining contact, tidying up on Nadia’s proud jugs, toned tummy with short, closely cropped swatting, Bjorlin unhurt, but being controlled,, massaged for professional points in the first, Larue with cheeky backhand against Nadia’s high, toned rump after the bell: just letting the ingénue know who’s boss.

R2: Nadia working behind a heavy, thrusting jab off the shoulder: Eva can’t close against it. Nadia banging away from the veteran. Easy loping pace--Eva sliding back from Nadia, then schmoozing along the ropes--pawing out her own jab or backhanding it, just trying toi keep from being bodied to the ropes, Bjorlin the aggressor, landing some thudding right hands to Larue’s pecs or flank as Eva backpedals in front of fresh punching. Nadia looking to lean in close and hammer that aging ribcage, but Eva crafty, pulling the youngster to her, easing back into ropes for ref’s breaks, Larue judiciously going to the Bjorlin rsvk in spots, cheerleading on jug to interrupt Nadia’s momentum. Bell: Bjorlin grinning, tossing her hair en route to her corner: very confident young lady strutting the canvas through 2.

R33: Laure’s eyes narrow in concentration: she fade-steps in retreat early, trying to time that heavy Bjorlin jab, Minute mark, Eva gets it right--hooking Nadia’s mouth, fading back a step as Bjorlin rifles out the jab-receipt, then Eva POURS back in a whistling right counter over the top. NADIA’S HURT! Cashing punch bunches ingénue up--right knee jerking up on reflex and BJORLIN GOES DOWN! Glorious sprawl at Eva’s feet--Larue striding past, gazing down at tanned brunette wreckage--Nadia grimacing as she sits up, slowly rolls over her right hip to refuse Eva the KO. Wobbly-butt 8, Nadia: Eva calmly walking back in--right hand at her waist, left dangling--she suddenly steps-and-fetches Bjorlin a splashing right hand square to tummy as Nadia’s guarding high. Eva sliding a half-step out as Bjorlin cramps forward, face pinched in agony. Larue feints with her dangling left to Nadia’s body, then taps Nadia a light lead right on the mouth: Nadia dukes up at temples, teeth gritted, torso stooped forward. Eva so patient, so precise--lead right hands prodding in between Nadia’s gloves to stabilize; follow-on hook doing all the real damage as Latina lashes away ear and body, brutal, gorgeous stuff--Nadia a real trooper sopping it up--but a Larue left uppercut off that straight right lead hurts Nadia again, loosening her at the ropes, Bjorlin helpless, listing to her left side, slumping into the strands, presenting her right flank, Larue left her hands go, pounding away straight rights and lefts--punches skidding off shoulder, caroming off skull until ref steps in. Nadia blubbering in disappointment, bitterly complaining of a quick stoppage as the ref holds her, trying to soothe her: TKO3 Eva Larue.

After: Nadia blasted by a razor sharp Eva Larue tonight, but she’s not the first ingénue to stumble upon that particular roadblock. Larue assesses the kid’s debut: “You know, she’s handful in there,” Eva admits “She’s very strong--totally not what you’d expect from ‘Days’. I wanted to back her up, but found I couldn’t do it--so I switched to counterpunching as a way of managing her strength. She reminds me of a Bellucci when Monica’s motivated--good heavy jab, looks to get a body ion and muscle her opponent. She still has a wrestler’s footwork and you can see she’s a little raw in her technique. Hey--I’m just a big step up in class from what she’s used to--you know? If she works hard at her craft and gets rounds, I could see her being a player at welter.”
