Before: nothing like a little “must win” pressure to add a little tension during pre-fight. Both girls have good tools, but neither has really been able to execute in recent bouts. Graham the classic upright boxer, lane the more compact bob and weave slugger. Cotton 2 piece jockeys for both women, bloue for Heather, red for Diane--very small workout gloves for both.

During R1: Diane starts strong, bending he torso into her punches, taking care of her defense with her offense. Graham backing up, measuring with the left jab and trying to time lane for the uppercut. Good action round with both women scoring--the thin leather gloves making  distinctive sharp smack upon impact.

R2: Diane continues to press, Graham retreat. Midway through the round, heather finally lands that sharp right uppercut, catching Di as she leans over, and the blonde finishes up with cracking left hook to send lane wobbling to one knee. Diane up immediately, wades forward, and is immediately batted back to the canvas by a barrage of batting left hooks as Graham fights well backing up. This time, lane seems badly hurt, taking an 8 count, but she continues to press forward, and in the final minute, it is Lane trapping Graham against the ropes and smacking away at the blonde’s bony ribcage with both hands. Huge round for graham ion the cards as Diane digs yet another hole for herself.

R3: Heather oozing confidence, takes the fight to Diane, leading with right crosses, coming back with left hooks. Lane soaks it up, and engages Heather in toe to toe action to bring the crowd to its feet. In a wild exchange of blows, Diana almost accidentally rocks Graham with a left hook to the jaw, stunning the blonde. Upon realizing the impact, Lane takes hold of heather’s cotton top, sling her forward and into the corner as the blonde reels. All Diane Lane as she batters Heather Graham with churning lefts and rights, digging into the blonde’s midsection and cracking lefty hooks off her jaw and THE FIGHT IS STOPPED!! Heather Graham lolls in corner, glassy eyed and unresponsive as the referee bundles Lane away. Sensational TKO3 for lane as she pounds it out of Graham in brutal fashion.

After: Lane saves her career from the dinner theatre circuit with this savage, come from behind beating of Graham. it’s the kind of blood and guts effort Lane has been known for in the past, and she would appear to have righted the ship. Graham continues to rely on her star power to remain in the spotlight, but 3 losses in a row have many wondering whether or not she really deserves to be there.
