Before; Pure puncher vs. boxer match up a good test for both fighters. Swanson’s shown good hands and good skills, but she hasn’t faced anything as crafty as “Slick Liz”./ Hurley in black string bikini, hair up, Swanson in teal beach volleyball bikini.

During R1-2: Swanson leans what she’s up against as she drops the first two heats to Hurley by slim margins. Liz with the southpaw stance, wraps her chin behind her shoulders, cups her face with her gloves, draws her elbows in, and simply has a knack for slipping and turning away from Kristy’s blows. For all Swanson’s effort,  she can’t seem to land flush, her fists glancing off Liz’s gloves and shoulders. Hurley stepping right, flicks out the occasional backhanded right jab, or sluices in with a wide left hand counter, but is content to pile up points on the big blonde.

R3: Kristy changes tactics, going to Hurley slender body with sledgehammer blows, and puts Liz in trouble. Liz cringing as Kristy’s fists bounce off her flanks, back to the ropes, and Swanson is all over her with thudding body shots. Hurley bobbing, bending at the waist suddenly gurgles in pain as Swanson digs into her side with a vicious left hook, forcing Liz to take a knee. With over a minute on the clock, Hurley stands and tries to dance, but Swanson corrals her, shoves the brunette t the corner and puts it to Liz with both hands. Methodical beat down, utilizing shoving and shoulders in between beefy 3 punch bursts breaks Liz down, and dazed, she slides to all fours with seconds left in the round. Hurley survives Swanson’s power, but at the cost oif coughing uyp a 10-7 round to erase her lead.

R4: Swanson with a hurt Liz in front of her is more effective, continuing the assault on Liz’s flanks, but also lifting Hurley’s head off her gloves with popping right uppercuts inside.

R5: Battle of adjustments as Liz realizes she can’t just box Swanson. Crowd on its feet as Liz goes toe to toe, still stepping to the right for that southpaw angle, but she’s putting her whole body into those crashing left hands to put Kristy wobbly butt at the halfway point. Furious offense from Liz leaves Kristy with a split lip, but the big blonde goggles up the lefty haymakers and bangs back hard, folding Liz up with lefts to the midsection. Hurting, and retreating, Liz is victimized with a thudding left in behind her elbows, followed by the doubled up left to the jaw. Hurley spins sideways and lands on all fours, dazed and drunk with shock at Swanson’s hitting power. Game brunette beats the count again, folds to the ropes, and attempts a desperate rope-a-dope as Swanson bangs away to the bell.

R6: Kristy having it all her way. She crunches into Liz’s ribs with satisfying lefts and rights, then shoulders Liz back to the ropes. Kristy very methodical, wide stance,  drifting Liz to the midsection with heartless hooks. Hurley droops forward, and Kristy bangs away with short, open palm uppercuts on the face and breasts ti straighten the brunette up.
Once Hurley rocks back away from the facial, Swanson goes to her body again, and finally Liz staggers forward, sliding down Swanson’s body o all fours yet again. Kristy steps back and wipes her sweaty brow, pleased with her handiwork. Hurley beats the count, and accepts a withering beating to the bell.

R7: Liz goes for broke. Stepping to the right, she has a good angle for her wide left hand and short right uppercut, and she sails into Kristy with gusto, busting the blonde up in the first minute with a series of whipping lefty combinations. Kristy on the defensive, covering up, but she can’t cut off the ring, and Liz keeps up the storm, stepping in and out on the big girl, stepping around her, digging to the sides and chopping at the blonde’s face. Kristy blitzed, soaks up Liz’s hardest blows of the bout without so much as a backward step.

R8: More fury from Liz as Swanson is there to be hit, and seems unable to cope with the up tempo. Liz digging at Kristy’s flank with the double right hook, then slicing at Swanson’s lip with the left, then either leaning inside of Kristy’s comeback, or stepping out at angles. Masterful power boxing from Liz Hurley, but again, her best shots just aren’t hurting Swanson badly enough.

R9: Liz the extra step, and she boxes Swanson this round, keeping Kristy off balance, exploiting angles.

R10: Anticlimactic tenth sees Liz beg to tire, deeply discouraged at the beating she has taken, as well as her inability to hurt the big American. Swanson also fatigued, bodies up on the slender brunette, walking Liz around the ring, punching intermittently to the hip and waist. At the bell, Swanson grins confidently at the crowd, and is rewarded with a unanimous decision over the willing, but outgunned Liz Hurley.

After: Hurley simply didn’t have the artillery, winning enough rounds to have earned herself a draw, has she been able to stand up to the Americanb’s bombs. Swanson just too strong, ups the ante for Theron by saying “Let see you fo THAT!” into the mike afterwards.
