Before: Dani determined to clean out the network competition faces durable veteran Hart in a battle of curvy sluggers. Hart a perennial ham and egger, lacks the handspeed and high work rate of Fishel, and Dani is literally vibrating with anticipation during ring instructions. Red Adidas terrycloth trunks, black jogbra Dani, cream jogbra, teal Adidas trunks Hart.

During R1: Fishel all over Hart early, bending into her punches, swaying left and right in front of Hart as she cranks those looping hooks. Hart with a panicky expression, backs away and takes a cracking left off her temple to start the rout early. Melissa able to clinch and slow things down late in the round, scores on the inside as Dani leans in cheek to cheek without punching.

R2: Another surge from Fishel as she quickly breaks down Hart's defense, approaching low, and constantly moving her hands. Hart backing up, getting wrong-footed, pushing out don't-hurt-me punches. Dani misses with a chopping right, then bends into the comeback left hook to snap Hart's head viciously to the left. Melissa's face goes instantly blank, her body and legs wilting, and Dani misses the final right hand as Hart collapses to her side. KO2 for Dani Fishel, blowing away an intimidated Mary Joan Hart in spectacular fashion.

After: Good power display and killer instinct from Dani who pounds out another journeywoman with ferocious glee. Gap between the best and the rest at bantam seems nicely filled by Fishel, who continues to carve out a niche for herself as a top contender.
