Before: Rogers getting served up to Jennifer as the latter gets a showcase on Boxing after Dark celebrity division. Esposito the name on everyone's lips as the next big thing - looks like a Lopez who can box OR slug. Mimi not expected to go the distance, but a cagey veteran test is exactly what Jennifer needs at this point to hopefully get her some rounds. During R1: Rogers tastes Jen's power early as the Latina hooks off the jab to back Mimi up. Rogers clinching, tying Jen up, hitting on the break, and putting an arm lock on Esposito inside. Jen enraged, tees off in the final minute, battering Rogers to the ropes, and a savage series of lefts and rights to the breasts leaves Mimi groaning at the bell. Jen could have gone for the KO at that point - bad sign for Mimi.

R2: More veteran tricks from Rogers as she turns counterpuncher with some efficiency early, but Jennifer's speed too much and by the midway point is stepping around Mimi to crank heartless left hooks. A thudding blow from an oblique angle bashes off Mimi's forehead, causing her to stutter step, and Esposito is on her again. Pounding the body with a left right to set up the left hook to the head, Jen hammers Rogers to the mat with seconds left in the round. Mimi refuses to continue, quitting on the mat as Jennifer taunts her to get up.

After: Mimi totally outclassed at this point in her career, unable to cope with the speed or sheer ferocity of Esposito unleashed. Jennifer at the mike after the fight, angrily demands 'tougher comp', but the phone isn't ringing. Who wants to fight an unknown hellcat like this?
