Before: Comeback bout for highly touted Denise Richards who has not lived up to the hype in her young career. Expected punching bag Britney has been unexpectedly strong, showing well in several contests and proving to be one of the more athletic of the battling singers. It's a good contrast of looks in the ring, as Denise is the classic orthodox fighter, while Britney has a loose, Cajun style that can befuddle opponents at times. Pink jogbra and high cut trunks for Britney, blue for Denise.

During R1: Britney establishes athletic supremacy with a firm shutout this round, making Denise look robotic and tentative in response. Spears holds the right cocked at her chest, the left down at her thigh, and glides around Denise, turning her shoulder and slipping tepid jabs from the brunette, and twisting her torso into whipping, unpredictable blows from either side. Britney lifts a jab off her hip which catches Denise repeatedly in the mouth, and midway through the round, Spears lights Denise up with a double right uppercut. Britney backs away with a taunting smile of superiority as Richards pouts in alarm - the double uppercut means Britney can do anything she wants to Denise in this fight.

R2, 3, 4: Spears shuts Denise out in virtually every round, using her limber, loose limbed style to whip punches in from odd angles. A favourite punch is a single right, semi-uppercut to the pit of Denise's stomach, putting a cute smile of satisfaction on the blonde's face every time she lands the gaudy looking crowd-pleaser. Richards is lured forward, taking the rising jab off her face, and she awkward, flailing punches never seem to land clean on the elusive Britney. The taunting and trash talking in this bout is not to be believed as Denise's perfect face is a mess come the 5th - and Britney lets her know it.

R5: Spears may have gone for the finish too soon. She stands shoulder to shoulder with Denise, flat footed, trading hooks and right hands to the jaw, and the brunette likes the uncomplicated action. Richards lands some snapping left hooks, and has Britney on the ropes in the final minute. Hammer and tongs to the bell as both girls let their hands go, and with seconds left in the round, a sweet left hook on the jaw puts a momentary shiver in Britney's legs. Both girls continue slugging after the bell, prompting referee intervention.

R6: Britney takes a round to reestablish her game plan, gliding around Richards, keeping her defensive with that rising jab, and turning into sharp right hands that Denise doesn't see.

R7: Britney sees the hurt and doubt on Denise's face, and puts pressure on from bell to bell this round. Spears humiliates Denise with a double uppercut to the breasts, stuffing the glove in with short jolt from the shoulder as Denise can only pout in protest. Moving backwards, Britney has the knack of catching Denise with wide, whip-action lefts and rights, and when Denise backs off, Britney can pick and choose her targets. Twisting into a pounding right up the middle, Britney finally sends a tremor through Denise's legs, and the brunette's defensive shell begins to crack. Brit keeps up the pressure, stuffing right hands into the tits and belly, bringing in a wide left hook to the ear, and that showy double right uppercut to the mouth. Denise is reeling, being battered from pillar to post, and in the final minute, she begins to stumble to her left. Britney stays on her, slashing away with clubbing right hands to Denise's ear and Richards goes down! Denise sprawls on her back, mewling and bending her legs as she refuses to take more abuse.
KO7 for Britney Spears.

After: Spears is finally escorted away from Denise as she seems intent upon further humiliating the brunette with a posing session. Dominant athletic performance and some shrewd matchmaking from Britney's management team. They're doing a good job of selecting good names with stiff styles that Britney can work with - she has yet to face a real pressure fighter with a punch.
