Thanks to FightFan for this repost.

Before: It's been 5 years since anyone's seen even a memory of vintage Locklear, and the mere fact that she's been matched up with Spelling amounts to a vote of no confidence from the Network fight brass in Heather. The sad truth is many pundits see Spelling winning this fight - a death knell for any former glamour girl still boxing on the strength of a marquis name. Locklear in no nonsense grey cotton 2 piece, Spelling in red Adidas terrycloth trunks that ride a little baggy on her slim hips, and black jogbra.

During R1: Heather's idea seems to be "windmill the right hand and hope for the best". Awkward, very rigid and orthodox Spelling is able to disrupt Heather entirely by shooting out the straight left as Heather punches, then slugging the straight right to Locklear's face. Sure enough, after a series of these futile exchanges, Heather absorbs a shocking right to the nose and nearly takes a knee. Spelling continues in her robotic way, spearing out the left hand, bringing the right, to post a shutout and bloody Locklear's face this round.

R2: Heather's corner takes care of the nose, but watches in dismay as Locklear promptly goes back to what wasn't working. If there's one punch that's working in this haphazard affair, it's the Spelling jab, made more effective by Locklear's propensity to walk into it. Tori rolls up on Locklear again this round, simply too young, too strong, if not too skilled, and in the final minute, Spelling tugs Heather forward by her cotton top, slinging the blonde into the corner. To Locklear's shame, she is worked over for several seconds as Tori bats away with slapping lefts and rights to the bell.

R3: Tori starts very confidently, stepping into her jab as Heather willingly provides a target. After a minute of getting slapped all around the ring, Heather wings another right hand, drawing the jab, but this time she swings under Tori's left, spanking the punch hard off Spelling's ribcage. Tori winces, and covers up, stumbling forward as Heather takes a step back to whip a left hook to the teeth of the youngster. Spelling goes groggy and straighten up, hands at her hips and Locklear mashes her lips with a lunging right hand. Spelling spins 180 degrees and falls to her hands and knees, spitting out her mouthguard and quitting without waiting for the count. Locklear and her black eye saunter back to her corner with a little sauce in her step.

After: Locklear gives voice to that chip on her shoulder, citing this win as evidence that she is still a force to be reckoned with. Spelling cratered after taking the first punches of any kind from Heather, but in her defense, Heather did get everything into that right hand.
