Non believers getting what they want - Heigl in a tough test against a known KruZher-killer - Peta hungry to wrap welter gold around her hips once again. "Great opportunity," Wilson drawls in prefight. "I, like a lot of people, think Katherine's been fighting way over her head - her number's up. I'm putting an end to this charade once and for all - look for Katherine to be utterly exposed in that ring once I'm done." Heigl in pale blue twist tied top w/baby doll sleeves, bare midriff, navy boy cut trunks, white shoes, ponytail - Peta in long blonde battle braid, beige crotchet bikini black shoes.

Rds 1-2-3: Heigl fades to the ropes, sets up in a clamshell defense - all three rounds consist of Peta menacing the champ, trying to pry open the guard. Peta resting her left hand on Heigl's shoulder, just stabilizing her, working her with short right uppercuts against the guard, clubbing rights on the ear. Heigl nice and tight, choosy with her punches, but occasionally coming out of the shell to clip a hook or shoot a straight right hand into Peta's sternum when there's room. Wilson mixing it up as minutes progess, reaching down Heigl's body to lay in that strapping left hook under the elbows, edging in with her left shoulder and trying to stuff rights in over the left hip. Suffocating action, Peta scrabbling and mauling at Heigl, trying to break her down - Katherine nice and disciplined in there, blocking a lot of shots, but she's getting outworked. Rounds go 1 and 3 for Peta, 2 for Heigl - Janet tells Katherine she wants more right hands heading into the 4th.

Rd 4: Heigl obliges, good things happen as she plugs straight rights to the ribs and tummy, blocky rights on the chin - Peta backing up, looking shook as champ gets to her with power. Heigl's turn to work with her girl's back to the ropes - Peta stooped forward, face in her gloves, just soaking it up as Heigl rips home screaming hooks, clubbing right hands to the flanks and midriff. Good beefy contact - Heigl red-faced with the effort of hauling in those gorgeous body shots, landing thick, then shouldering Peta back like deadweight for the next wallop.

Rd 5-6: Peta making her own adjustments, spreading Heigl out with the jab more, fighting more at center ring. Wilson dominant on the outside, nice harsh stick keeping Heigl at bay, sizzling right crosses mostly blocked but backing the champ off - Peta able to mop up in the ribs that come-back hook off the front foot. Good basic boxing, Peta just stepping in a circle and picking her girl apart - Heigl bobbing side to side, nibbling her gloves, landing the odd right hand straight into the body off gambling lunges. Points to Peta.

Rd 7: Peta's been boxing well, but Heigl's touched her body every single round and those thumping rights are adding up. Wilson flat footed, sliding around more than stepping - Heigl able to get on her, drive her ropeside and put good beefy shellack on the challenger. Peta spending more and more time with face in her gloves, issuing more clinches off the ropes, trying to walk Heigl back to mid-ring for the break. Down the stretch, Heigl pounding away on a covered up and sullen challenger at the apron - lot of blocked shots, but as Peta's guard breaks up, Katherine's able to put weight behind a driving right hand beneath the heart. There go Peta's legs - she chokes back a sob as she takes a knee - Heigl stomping back to her corner all proud of herself.

Rd 8: Peta has a minute's worth of stick and move in her, then the inexorable pressure forces her to the ropes. Rest of the round is Wilson lolling ropeside, head forward, gloves at her temples or cupping around Heigl's ears, trying to control the champ in the grasp. Katherine really muscling up - thick, swinging right hands in the flank, bending Peta's taut frame, gorgeous slinging hooks amidships, Katherine really turning her hips, looking well off to the right as she hurls these babies home. Wilson shabby, not answering back - she's wobbly butt as she soaks up the bombardment, unable to get off the ropes or even slide to the side.

Rd 9: Peta gritting her teeth, digging in. Back to the ropes, but Wilson's not giving in - she's dropping chopping rights out of her high gaurd, turning over that back ankle for pretty leverage - Heigl's taking clock on her jaw as she moves in. It's Katherine trying to maul and smother, reaching in under the arms, bulling Peta into the ropes - Wilson banging out the jab, turning on murderous tidy right crosses, lumping up the left side of Katherine's face. Merciless hard-hitting stuff - Heigl rejected time and again, then wading back in to give battle - Peta gets the better of it in a series of pitched toe to toe battles at the ropes.

Rd 10: OH THEY BANG AWAY! Peta drives Heigl to the ropes in the first minute under a clanging barrage of chopping rights and body-shot hooks, digging in to work Heigl with churning series of tight left and right uppercuts on the inside. Heigl soaks it up, starts tagging Peta in the middle minute - blocking the uppercuts then answering little hooks or cuffing rights on the chin, backing the blonde up. Down the stretch it's Peta's back to the ropes, Heigl butting her head into blonde chest and shoulders, swinging free to the hips and tummy, pushing and jostling to get for those thrusting straight rights to the torso. Gorgeous bullying shove and slug - a real treat for fans of big woman beat downs - Heigl just bashing away and reducing Peta to a slack jawed shadow of the woman who began the fight. Sweet punctuating for Heigl in the dying moments - she freezes Peta with that pounding straight right to the sternum - Wilson folding up and laying over on her right side against the ropes - Heigl clubs down on her with a series of smiting right hand hammer blows, simply bludgeoning the shipwrecked Aussie to her knees! Peta beats the count all tremble-tummied - but it's Heigl's night. UD10 for the winner and still welterweight champ - Katherine Heigl.

After: Katherine really coming into her own with startling victories over the likes of Landry, Warren and Wilson - curvy, hamhanded blonde really emerging as a trainload at sub140. "Girls can't take my punches," Katherine boasts in post fight. "Peta came in expecting Theron-like pop, but she couldn't handle the beef I was bringing. I just gave Janet right hands like she wanted - I wanted to break Peta in the body, really torture her and I did that. Poor Wilson was sobbing in the last few rounds from the punishment and I think she knows I'm the real deal now."
