Hard feelings stemming from Nolin's churlish handling of Heigl during a recent guest-ref stint (Tyler vs Heigl). "What I learned was Katherine's a very dirty fighter," says GLN with a straight, even serious face. "She's subtle, she's tricky, but she's always 'doing' in there - I had to get my body on her and lay down the law. She tries any of that crap on me, I think we all know who's going to get hurt." Heigl blowing off the Nolin smokescreen with a dismissive wave. "Gena just wanted to fight me - that's all it was. She thinks I'm still a soft touch, so she bullied me in the Tyler fight, got her challenge, and now she thinks she's so clever, using me to get back in with Crawford. Not gonna happen. I'm going to win and win big, because deep down, Gena's just a big fat punk." Nolin in big girl black sports bra, black boy cut trunks - Heigl in pale blue crochet peasant blouse top, bare midriff, snug white hipster bottoms, hair up and messy.

Rd 1: Gena muscular early, falling in with Katherine, wrestling up top with her, bodying Heigl into the ropes. G with headlocks, elbow locks to draw warnings - she's just imposing herself, getting on top of Katherine, keeping Heigl's back to the strands, then operating beefy with swinging right hands to Kate's creamy midriff. Gena using the sides of her hands and forearms to shove against Katherine's shoulders, constantly pressing and jostling, pulling down Katherine's head and jamming away righty against the back and left hip. Good brawny stuff - Heigl unable to make headway as big Gena Lee dominates belly to belly.

Rd 2: Gena mauling Heigl to ropes again, hands cupping back of Katherine's neck, tugging and twisting her off balance. Early on - G swinging Heigl with the Muay Thai neck clasp, then burying a thick right hand to belly - poor Katey all messed up, wrapping up hurt around Nolin's hips - big blonde able to bash down with ape-woman rights and lefts, shatter-blows against the back drive Kathy to her knees! Heigl all starry eyed and blubbery - takes a knee in the forehead as Gena turns away under referee supervision. Heigl takes 8 - immediately engulfed as Nolin bodies up and presses her hard to ropes - Gena putting the body on thick in this fight, using every ounce to punish Heigl in between punching fits. Katie bends forward - Gena rides heavy forearms on the upper back to push her to one knee. Katie leans back - Gena's swinging away right hands to body, helping herself to a little hip and thigh on indisriminate swings. Constant control of Katherine's head gives Nolin free rein - ref tugging at brawny shoulders and biceps to break up clinches and issue warnings - Gena ignoring all in single minded pursuit of her goal: beat Katherine down.

Rd 3: Oh that Kathy Heigl heart punch! Nolin stacked up, mouth open, eyes wide as time and again, Kate spears into the torso with those thumping haymakers. Kathy with a tossing jab - just getting up in Gena's face to straighten her, then diving in to slam the right hand short off the ribs - POUNDING blows concussing the heart, pancaking that left breast - Nolin sent into staggering retreat under the force of Heigl's thick-mitted fury. Kate walking Nolin down - as Gena backs straight up - Katherine able to get sweeping hooks up top - Nolin getting slobberknockered as Heigl turns the fight around. Down the stretch, panicky Gena shameless as she ties up around Kathy's arms, bogging KruZher down in sweaty stalemates as ref has to tug to enforce the break. Nolin gets out of the round with savvy, but she's breathing hard, whimpering in her corner as attendants see to the tender ribcage.

Rd 4: Nolin gentling Heigl down with swinging lefts and rights to the crotch early, then jerking up short to pump the tits - poor Katie riding her left arm up around Gena's head as Nolin wraps up around the waist and drives Heigl hard to the ropes. G pushing for room, then bashing away - big meaty right hands smashing against Heigl's shoulder, flank, squeaking in on the ear and jaw. Katie hurt, suffering - but reaching sweaty around Nolin's waist to bog her down - big women both showing good sensibility when fight's not going their way. G's frustration evident late - she stomps on Heigl's foot to draw a screech of protest, turns a tidy right hand in tight across Heigl's mouth, then reaches the left to pull Heigl's head down. Kathy reaching up her own left around Gena's head - girls trade plugging right hands to trembling midsections, but Nolin's got her weight forward, she's got the leverage - she's pounding it out of Katie at the bell.

Rd 5: Gena snarling, swinging wide - Heigl more compact, actually moving her head, tossing the up jab and committing 100% to those freight-train right hands to the chest - Gena backed up and stunned as Heigl thumps heart with cruel intentions. Nolin swooning, trying to wrap up head and arm on Heigl - Katie tugging her limbs free, staying low, using her left to stabilize big G, then plugging home the right. Nolin pre-occupied with her pulsing chest and worn-out belly, dropping her guard, starting to droop - Heigl looks low, then shoots the right hand clean to chin and jerks Nolin sideways to the ropes! Gena in a fog, right side slumped against the ropes and HEIGL'S POUNDING AWAY! Katie opening up with swinging lefts to chest and face - rights to buttocks, back and skull, occasionally pushing on Gena's left shoulder to keep her propped up sideways and THE REF STEPS IN! Big Gena Lee going out at the ropes - Katherine Heigl the upset TKO5 winner!

After: Heigl's had a couple of great performances this year - this qualifies as she pounds out the bigger, favoured Nolin toe to toe. Gena Lee bawling shamefully, alternately hugging at her ransacked body, or throwing tantrums in her corner - it wasn't supposed to be like this. Heigl settling in as a dependable KruZher big woman - maybe not the headline grabber Loken or Theron can be, but she's no longer taken lightly by girls that used to be cavalier with their challenges in the past.
