Before: Fox following Helgenberger’s resurgence on the prize fighting circuit--wiry brunette with good gym buzz doesn’t exactly get coddled in her pro debut. Carrie Ann Moss as tough as they come--fighters actually have a little sparring history with Fox reportedly handling Moss on occasion in the gym. “That stuff’s been exaggerated.” says Carrie Ann in prefight, “I know Jorja’s in over her hand tonight, even if she doesn’t.” Black leather bikini, high neck halter, slick fighting braid for Moss, pink bra and panties Jorja.

During R1: Nice lanky performance punching from Fox--a little rough hewn, reminiscent of a Julio Gonzalez. Stinging right hand high on the head early has moss backing up--Jorja keeping the pressure on as she walks the veteran down, bangs her with hooks and crosses--bell to bell swabbing from Fox clearly takes Moss by surprise.

R2: Carrie Ann adjusts with body work--raking her hook along Jorja’s ribs, then shouldering the girl back as Carrie Ann starts to come forward. Fix with her hand sup at her eyebrows, doesn’t move her upper body much--she’s waiting her turn, looking to block but shes letting Moss get off hard to the body. Return of serve shutout Carrie Ann.

R3: Moss stepping up the pace, mixing up the one two upstairs, then dropping down  to bang that ribcage with hooks--Fiox backing up, getting hammered this round as Carrie Ann gets rhythm. Midway through, Carrie Ann WELTING in underneath the elbows with crisp, snapping hooks--Fox hunching forward, mouth open--she’s hurt! Moss rattles Jorja’s cage with a blistering burst--hook in the gut, doubled up on the jaw, hard right hand between the mitts--Fox toppling back into the ropes suddenly dazed as Moss steps in, Final minute a punishing sustained beat down from Carrie Ann as she bangs to the waist, props Jorja back and jams right hands in between the brunette’s sagging guard. Fox reeling at the bell, staring stupidly at Moss as Carrie stomps back to her corner--Jorja swaying in the breeze after 3.

R4: Jorja showing terrific resiliency, comes out strong--dukes up--spirited two-way trade erupts midring. Both girls with hands up around temples, taking turns dipping in and ripping to the body with doubled up hooks. Fix with a pitching right hand from her shoulder, jamming it in over Carrie’s left, slowly beats moss to the ropes., Down the stretch, Jorja wants it more--she’s swinging away underneath with long armed lefts and rights, coming off the body with curling hooks that have Moss covered up an shaken at the bell.

R5: Jorja pounding out a shattering jab--long, hard single shot blasts that back Moss up and have her blinking in surprise, Fix devastating off the stick--she CRIPPLES Moss to the body this round with the hook, using the left elbow to prop the hurting beauty up against the ropes, then mxiing in crashing right hands over the top Jorja getting lean body btwist into therse haymakers, punching with a loose, slinging action that has Carrie Ann paralyzed at the ropes, moss sliding to her right at the midway point gets clipped a hook on her face that spills her to all fours for 8. Final minute, Jorja stuns Moss with that brick-mitted jab and drops the right hand on top, clubbing Carrie Ann to her buttocks at the bell, Huge 210-7b stanza for Jorja sends her bouncing her to her corner--Moss all busted up and stupefied by the lean, rawboned power of her foe.

R6: Carrie Ann Moss proves a warrior, Back on Jorja’s body, staying low, getting compact, coming in under Fox’s loose punching and HAMMERING that ribcage with hooks. Fix breaking down, sits into the ropes at the midway point and starts to soak up a tremendous beating. Moss POURING it on, rocking her girl the right uppercut then staving in that right side with left--Carrie Ann ;laying a world class beating on Jorja but can’t bring out the punk. Fox trembling and wobbly butt at the bell--picks up her chin in defiance as she holds Moss’ gaze in a standoff during the break.

R7: HAMMER AND TONGS! Sensational two-way punching--girls just shouldering each other back and getting off with vicious leather---each covering up and taking in turn as 3 and 4 punch bursts splatter back and forth. even trade to the final minute--once again, Fox just wants it more. Jorja backing Carrie up in withering trade, finally buckles the brunette’s knees with a heartbreaking series of hooks to the stomach, Moss folding forward, helpless as Jorja pounds away to the bell with swabbing lefts and righs across the back.

R8: Jorja battering Moss’ face with that rangy jab--Carrie stepping out, showing good lateral movement to turn the tall brunette’s left flank. Fox needs to be set to punch--she follows, unable to cut off the ring and gives up the initiative. Moss jabbing, stepping right, bends into a sneaky right hand that catches Jorja flush. Fox momentarily dazed, Carrie Ann twists out of her crouch to crack a shattering hook across the bi girl’s chin--Jorja toppling backwards, even wide, hands lowered. Moss stepping with, leans in with a drilling right to spank back Fox’s head--jumps in another crashing hook and JORJA IS DRIVEN TO HER BACK! Fox NAILED repeatedly as she staggers backward, hit’s the canvas HARD and it’s OVER! Jorja Fox numb from the waist down--head off the canvas as she tries to turn over, but it’s KO8 Carrie Ann Moss.

After: Fox giving Moss all she could handle in a rugged debut match--Jorja a hard nosed girl does best when she can come forward and operate on an opponent right in front of her. Moss going to the body consistently, taking some of the youth out of Jorja’s legs and showing tremendous killer instinct on the finish--no wonder Carrie Ann’s not on anyone’s “most wanted’ list.
