Before: There's a lot of pressure on Park in this fight; not so much because the younger, inexperienced South African model is considered a threat as because IF Park somehow manages to lose the fight, it will cost her the opportunity to face Kaley Cuoco in her next fight. The chance to beat Cuoco, a 'top five' fighter is a stepping stone toward a title shot for Grace, so blowing it so close to having it in her grasp would be a tragedy. Swanepoel, on the other hand, has everything to gain and nothing to lose in this, just her tenth FCBA fight. So all the pressure will be on Park - at least outside the ring while inside it you can expect Park to apply tremendous pressure on the untested youngster.

"I really want to face Cuoco wearing the Front Street scarlet/gray bikini," Grace says with a sigh. "I guess this is what happens when you try to be too clever and go behind your manager's back to cut your own deal. Still, there are few women who look better all spread out flat on their back than a Victoria's Secret model, so in that respect I'm going to be showing Candice at her glamorous best."

Swanepoel apparently barely knows who Grace Park is. "Hawaii 5-0? Right? I never watch CBS," she explained. "It skews way too old for our demographic. Battlestar Galactica? Nope. I don't think we got that back home before I left. Or maybe it was so long ago it was when my parents didn't have a television set. I guess I might have seen her in a film...has she been in any movies? I'm sorry, but all I know about her is from here in the FCBA and that's pretty impressive. She's a really good, bendy fighter...I mean for an older woman. She's what, about the same age as Charlize? But without all the titles, Hall of Fame or Fighter of the Year awards?"

A red-faced Grace Park doing a slow burn while Swanepoel's Academy stablemates watch slack-jawed by her impertinence. Just about every member of the Academy except Swanepoel is either dangerously close to (or already past) Park's 36 year age and they don't look all that comfortable with her making light of it. Or perhaps Candice just really is that disingenuous?
Park's record for 2010 is 1-3-1 with her only win over a smaller Carmen Electra. But that is misleading because for most of her career she's been fighting in Pacific rim countries or on television studio sets against other 'small screen' actresses rather than in sanctioned FCBA bouts. Park has a well-earned 'tough gal' reputation from participating in 'extreme' sports in addition to boxing. She also has a degree in psychology which she says, "... helps me get in my opponent's heads."

This will be Candice Swanepoel's tenth fight in the FCBA and only her eleventh recognized fight, all this year. Her record (3-6) is considered good for a 22 y/o rookie - especially since they've all been with older, more experienced, or bigger girls.
Both girls have similar builds, with Candice a little bendier and Park a bit more rigid. While Candice tends to sling and lash her punches, Park ratchets, chips and chugs away in rangy bursts.

Swanepoel: red VS bra/panties/garterbelt w/white stockings/shoes. Park: Hawaii 5-0 tye-dyed bikini; hair damp and loose. White gloves for both women.

During R1: Spirited fare. Candi wrapping her punches around Park's shoulders and actually wrestling her off-balance several times as they clinch. Park advancing relentlessly, but getting disorganized in spots. She's able to pump jabs into the model's face to finally restore order, then once she has her controlled, Grace gets after Candice with a robust, two-fisted, piston punching, attack. Swanepoel with her already flushed face in her gloves for much of the latter half of the round; long, lean, lanky, body shuddering under Park's plundering as her lanky-limbed belting welts up both blonde flanks. Park really padding her punchstat numbers, landing more than twenty unanaswered body shots in the final minute alone. Bell: Candice hugging herself back to her stool; slumping gingerly onto her bottom; wincing with hurt when Stone tends her rosy ribs during the all-too-brief break.

R2: Same again. Swanepoel bravely standing in, trading shot for shot, not backing down; slinging in sloppy powershots and again occasionally finding her gloves wrapping around behind Grace's slim shoulders when Park slips/dips inside the arc of swing. Grace still digging hard to Candi's body, really tearing the youngster up between the waistband of the thong and the bottom of her bra. Once again breathless with hurt, Candice hunched forward, face-in-gloves, sopping it up to either flank for the last long minute of the round. At the bell: tears glistening on Candice's ruddy cheek. Park's definitely hurting her to the body!

R3: Too much volume. Grace almost casually flicking her jab in Candice's face, walking in to snuggle close. When she's bellied up on Candice, Grace working her over with left and rights to that fabulous body. Candice power punched backward one grudging step at a time until her butt is stuffed firmly in the ropes where Grace studiously working her body with slow, methodical, carefully aimed, body-numbing shots. Park never stops punching; never gives Swanepoel a chance to catch her breath or to think about what to do next. Park picking her spots, not wildly thrashing away with haymakers or bolo uppercuts; just uses her raised elbows to keep shoving Swanepoel away; denying every blond attempt to clinch; then getting after her busy body. Third straight round finishes with Swanepoel's awesome body thrumming as Park sends her trudging demoralized back to her corner with a sweaty slap of her tight behind. Candice drops her butt on her stool, shoulders hunching forward; head in her gloves; listening/nodding glumly as Stone and Theron desperately try to fashion a strategy to turn things around. Park beaming after burying her blonde adversary under an avalanche of leather for the third consecutive round.
