Before: Rose known for brawling on the comic-con circuit...but that's primarily a pro-style wrestling league - how's she managing the transition? "I feel like fighting's fighting," sturdy blonde shrugs in prefight. "Whatever you do - it's 90% conditioning and aggression - 10% tricks - so I feel like I'm coming in with a good foundation. I'm surprised to be debuting against a Playmate, but I think that actually plays to my strength. Playmate fighters generally look to mix it up, and that's what I want: somebody who'll engage me, and get herself knocked out!"

Decesare determined not to let a rookie experience 'beginner's luck' in her debut. "I know Rose wants to make a statement starting out," Carmella concedes at podium, "and she hasn't learned to lose, so she'll be dangerous. She's a stubby blonde, and those're tuff: I've got to take my time, be smart, and hurt her when I see the openings!"

Carmella in pink HMK bikini with little white belt; small black work out gloves; hair loose. Emily in midnight blue bra and panties; small powder-blue work out mitts; hair in scruffy gym-rat ponytail.

During R1: Carm bouncing weight on lead (left) leg - she's licking bandy-limbed lefts and rights onto Rose - touching up blonde lats/shoulders via loose, bolo-curled wallops - then bounding back in her stance. Rose covering up to ride out the wallop, then bulling forward: Emily steppin' strong, taking canvas. Midway through, Carmella engages in withering side-to-side trade - both girls belting away in horizontal plane. Emily's shorter arms/tighter punching wins the races - Carmella jolted via clanging right/left - the latter punch especially jarring and SITTING DECESARE DOWN! Carmella blinking, lips parted in wonder: she gives her head a hard shake to clear it, gingerly rising to take her 8. Rose wading in - pushing Carmella into ropes, then having-at her via blunt, clubbing lefts and rights. Hard final minute for Deech as she covers up earmuff, rolls supple torso and takes a beating to bell.

R2: Emily strong at Carmella - shorter blonde looking to pound in straight, stubby left/rights, then step into a short hook in hopes of locating Carmy's off-switch. Heavy blonde fists beat Decesare ropeside: sinewy brunette curling forward off ropes, licking rising rights and lefts off her thighs as she twists side to side, hoping to slug-with. Crowd roaring as Emily accepts terms: sturdy blonde squaring away, jolting Carmy stout straight rights and looking to hook her out...glorious two-way punching as fighters open up. Rose's stubby, pasting lefts and rights shocking Carmella, keeping her pinned down, but brunette refusing to buckle, still lashing her licks: sleek Decesare right uppercut finally finds the mark flush, CRUSHING Emily to chin as blonde girl's loading up her own right hand. Rose gobsmacked, stumbling face-first into ropes as Carmella sidesteps-right: Deech reverses-field - extending long arms to push Rose into ropes and CARMELLA UNLEASHES! Decesare bendy on her hips, lashing and strapping away both hands, shifting her weight to either leg for max-leverage on each stroke. Rose shattered, trying to maintain earmuff, but bewildering array of lanky leather pelting upon her, tearing up her tummy, clapping her face...REF STEPS IN! Stunned Emily out on her feet as ref cradles her to safety: TKO2 Carmella Decesare.

After: Near-run thing as Carmella's forced to come off the deck for the win...even then, she needs a slick counter right hand off the ropes to truly turn things around. "She reminds me of Allison Mack in the ring," Decesare assesses in postfight. "Very strong, very heavy handed. Unlike Mack, Emily doesn't move her head, so I was able to key on her with uppercuts and get her hurt. She'll correct that over time, and when she does: watch out! I'm glad I took her out now, rather than facing the polished product 10 or 15 fights down the road!"
