Before: HBO carries the fight, removing the threat of extra-curricular activity on the part of the SWO, at least during office hours. Dani revving up the audience with Van Halen’s “Panama”, leaves Chae steaming in the ring for almost 5 minutes and words are exchanged before the ring is even cleared. Dani looking almost ripped for this fight, while Chae reportedly up late the night before partying the night away. Chae in red sports bra, red stretch shorts, Dani in teal sports bra, grey cotton stretch shorts.

During R1: Chae out fast, swatting with arm punches in combination, but Dani doing a good job of covering up and exploding back with booming single hooks to earn a draw in a brisk opening stanza.

R2: All Chae as she continues to pressure Dani, using combinations to the belly, and a shoulder burt to keep Dani moving backwards. Fishel on her heels, can’t get set, and Chae beginning to establish dominance inside with her quicker hands.

R3: Dani still a step behind, loading up he left hook, but Chae putting it all together, changing distance on the youngster, moving in and out, and out punching Dani in bursts on the inside. Chae with a little fist twirl and taunt at the bell, looks the sharper fighter through 3.

R4: maybe taunting Dani’s not the best idea: Fishel gets on board with swarming pressure, bobbing low, coming up with banging lets and rights and keeping Chae’s back pinned to the ropes for most of the round. Chae covering up, rolling with punches, takes a peppering this round as Dani lets it all hang out, turning her shoulder into a bludgeoning right up the middle, and pounding away at Chae’s right aside with lashing wide left hooks.

R5: Another good round for Dani as Chae stands in and the crowd is treated to smacking 2-way action from bell to bell. Chae trading hooks with Dani, gets backed up consistently, and the girls bend side to side to get power on clubbing combinations, often landing simultaneously in helter skelter slugging. Dani breaking into a grin at the bell, bangs gloves with a somewhat less eager Chae in recognition of the spirited fighting.

R6: Dani still punching it up wide, and Chae times Fishel perfectly, hooking inside Dani’s hook to hurt Fishel, then gouging in behind Dani;s elbow to put the Feisty One on her hands and knees. Chae pushed back by the ref, and Dani struggles to her feet with a groggy expression, Rest of the round is a beating as Dani is bodied to the ropes, then slugged repeatedly to the stomach as Chae digs in with both hands. Chae pounding away after the bell, is pulled off Dani as Fishel grimaces in pain.

R7: Dani looking hurt, visibly slowed,  continues to take combinations as Chae goes shoulder to shoulder to push Fishel around the ring. Vintage Chae as she works on Fishel’s chest with double hooks, then turns into the right on the jaw to keep Dani wobbly butt. Chae bodies up and bullies her opponent, putting her head on either of Dani’s shoulders as she twists into luscious body shots underneath. Dani looking ill, chin on Chae’s shoulder, soaks it up and can’t get off much in return. Chae going chest to chest at the bell, asks Dani if she’s had enough before ref moves in.

R8: Chae continues to break Dani down, the merciless two-fisted attack freezing Fishel and bending her forward, vulnerable now to clipping right uppercuts. Chae having her way, hopping to let Dani slump forward, then bang back Fishel’s head with the compact uppercut as Dani’s hands reach for Chae’s hips to clinch. Dani swooning, eyes half closed at the bell as Chae pulls way with a big smile.

R9: Chae laying in with Dani, but Fishel suddenly exploding into acionm, and the action picks up as the two compact sluggers work underneath with feverish lefts and rights. Chae buckles and pulls back, and Dani swarms in, sweeping right, then bending back into a looping left hook and CHAE GOIES DOWN! Caught on one chiseled cheek bone, Chae rolls to her back, beating the count with a minute left on the clock. Swollen-faced Dani grins crookedly as she sweeps in again, looping the wide rights and lefts and Chae is clocked bard again with a left hook on the jaw as she bends back into the ropes. Chae takes a hop to the left, then drops to one knee with tears brimming in her puffy eyes. Savage punching by Dani gives her a 10-7 round, and gets her back into the fight!

R10: Dani with new energy, bolts across the ring, immediately met with a crushing short right hand off the face, but Fishel walks through it to land a left hand to spin Chae to the ropes. Dani tackling Chae into the ropes, then putting her head on the Asian’s chest to plow both fists into the brunette’s waist. Chae groaning, clinching weakly, but Dani won’t be slowed, pounding rights and lefts into Chae’s torso, Dani beats the Asian to her knees as Chae gulps for air, Chae up at 8, engages Dani in a brutal war of attrition the rest of the way, each girl ringing he other up with short right hands off the face, digging left hooks across the belly to the bell. Ref jumps in to stop the action as neither girl hears the bell--Decision comes back: Unanimous duke Dani Fishel!

After: Chae stunned, Asian eyes swollen shut and looking dejected as the cards are announced. Dani leaping for joy at the decision gets the monkey off her back with a gutty late rounds effort, cudgeling Chae to the canvas 3 times en route to slim margin victory.
