Ashley Scott swaggered into this bout the head of her own unofficial stable of badasses, looking to lay down blonde law on the steamiest redhead in boxing. After 16 minutes of cut-throat boxing, Scott lay helpless on her back--systematically taken apart by the always under-rated Ms. Bridges.

Scott is, by any measurable standard, the better boxer of the two. She’s a little taller, a little smoother--and while not flashy-quick in combination, her sneaky-quick, sliding hooks and crosses have been known to shock and stun unwary lightweights. Bridghes is the more efficient of the two--no wasted footwork, no clowning or posturing--Angelica looks to jab into position, then hurt with power from a strong stance--and right from the start, even in rounds she lost--Angelica was landing much the harder punches in this fight.

All even after four, both women had been rocked by the other, and with Scott posting a withering, one-sided fourth, the fifth while not the final stanza--would prove to be the decisive engagement as these gorgeous specimens mercilessly tucked in toe-to-toe. In the final moments, Scott wilted and broke down, her body and limbs relaxing against her will--Ashley dropped to all fours, panting with punishment as Bridges stalked past. Scott would beat the count but she was a seriously impaired beauty who never should have come out for the fifth.

Angelica’s mop up was a thing of simple, brutal majesty. Jabbing Ashley to ropes, Bridges squared up and unleashed punches in tidy, snappy bunches--bouncing her mitts off Scotty’s skull, flanks and torso. It took a minute of hammering abuse to put Ashley on her back, parallel to the ropes--it took 10 seconds to officially recognize Bridges as the victrix.

Anyone who remembers Angelica’s previous FCBA events knows she’s an independent not to be trifled with. “I hear Jenny O’Dell’s been dropping my name,” Bridges would say in post fight. “Tell her to be careful what she wishes for, because I tend to knock pretty blondes out. Ask Ashley.”
