Before: HBO convincing both sanctioning bodies to expand the weight band to allow fot both titles to be defended concurrently. Madison Square gardens normally reluctant to showcase celebrity fighters, but the “Mecca of Boxing” finally bows to overwhelming public demand. Twain a classic stand up boxer, has had her difficulties with the unorthodox hip hop or dance club style in the past, but new training regiment has her talking confidently in pre-fight. Electra in purple two-piece aerobics togs, high neck, Twain in black sports bra, red aerobics bottoms, curly long hair look.

During r1: Both girls open with curve balls. Electra looking to body up and work the slender singer over. Twain loading up and bombing to send a message early. Electra moving the upper body with supple grace makes Shania miss for the most part, countering with thumping body shots from the knees to Twain’s flat gut.

R2: Shania reverts to form, using staccato footwork to lure Carmen into leading, then jumping in to capitalize after Electra’s leaping blows miss. Twain executing a difficult strategy very well, able to tag Carmen with pesky one-twos, then nimble-foot ot out of Dodge to set up the next counter attack.

R3: Both girls getting some things done--Twain continuing to counter with fast punches, just making contacts and flustering Carmen--Electra able o connect with the booming right uppercut to the pit of Twain’s stomach ion hopes of slowing the brunette down. In the final minute, masterful speed bagging of Carmen’s face renders the little dancer confused and Twain rips left hooks to the body and head to stun Electra at center ring. Carmen hurt, leaning back, and taking punches as Twain  expertly steps with her. Twain belting Carmen’s shocked  face left and right at the belt with crisp, wide left/rights.

R4: Twain taking the initiative, extends the left and paws at Carmen’s hips with a rigid jab that travels only inches. Carmen slipping under Twain’s left, comes up with withering rights to the waistline, and the first signs of hurt register on Twain’s face as her stomach begins to give way. Twain on the defensive from the second minute on, and Electra beginning to leap in, scoring with the booming uppercuts from the knees and welting Shania’s jaw with wide blows from crazy angles. Seconds left in the round and Electra leaps in with a stabbing right, misses, but wheels around to land a crushing left in the round and Electra leaps in with a stabbing right, misses, but wheels around to land a crushing left to the temple of Twain. Shania flopping to the canvas as though electrocuted, and Electra squeals I delight, Twain on her face, out cold--Electra turns her over and pins her with a raunchy laugh until the referee hauls her off. KO$ Carmen Electra in spectacular fashion.

After: Twain solving the riddle for the most part, but just couldn’t take Carmen’s best shots when they came. Electra stripping Twain of the belt, becomes the undisputed dominant force at bantamweight, leaving Shania to go back to lick her wounds at junior.
