Before: Ryan suddenly the most popular girl in school, fielding calls from countless challengers, certainly not taking the easy way out with Swanson.(Simguy note: I haven’t had a chance to go over the title picture-I think these two are in the same weight class, if so, any and all titles are on the line, if not, assuming Swanson’s coming down to make it a title fight). Jeri in red bandeau bikini, black gloves and shoes, Kristy in light blue cotton 2 piece, white gloves and shoes.

During R1: Ryan with that efficient Louis look. Snapping the shocking jab up off her waist, stepping in, out, and to the left. Swanson looking to work her magic inside, but gets herself outboxed to the tune of a shutout this round.

R2: Jeri back on top with the jab in opening moments, but it’s just a pre-cursor. Ryan turning her shoulder into that short, lethal right hand, gets violent head movement on Swanson, comes back with a digging left hook to the pit of the stomach and steps out as Kristy unravels. Jeri steps left, touches up with the jab, then DRIFTS Swanny with the short right cross, left hook on the chin, dropping low under Kristy’s lifeless right hand and watching as Swanson topples flat out to her back as the crowd roars. KO2 Jeri Ryan--Kristy pretty with hands above the head, legs straight out, mouth open for the photo-op.

After: When she’s on, is here a more devastating performer than Jeri Ryan? Kristy just never in a groove, doesn’t record a scoring blow in this near perfecting outing for the champ. Kristy ruffled, but essentially undamaged afterwards, simply had her lights quickly and efficiently extinguished by Ryan who must have had an important dinner to get to.
