Before: One of the most convoluted fight contracts in history precedes this Nitro girl/WWF starlet bout, as Vince and Bischoff squabble over practically every detail. Meanwhile, the girls would fight for free, and wrestling mags, talk shows are abuzz with the frank animosity shown by each for the other. Debra the brawny slugger with an unbelievable KO percentage, versus Chae the body snatcher in what should be a classic. Chae in scarlet push up and panties (see WCW site for pics) Debra with the mix n match look - white push up navy panties.

During R1: Chae knows she needs to get in underneath Debra's bombs, and the first round devolves into a series of nasty clinches. The curvy twosome hug and wrestle upstairs, tumbling along the ropes as they lever one another off balance. In the final minute, Debra is able to get a left shoulder into Chae, pushing the Asian back just enough to land some swinging right hands to the head.

R2: Chae back inside, but this time rotating her shoulders into a non-stop barrage of body shots. Debra helpless, holds Chae around the arms, as the Asian girl pounds her thick waist with savage abandon. Chae with her head on either shoulder of Debra, turns her torso into the odd Kodak moment uppercut to the jugs to put a splashy look of pain on McMichael's face throughout.

R3: Chae with more spanking left hooks across the abs, but Deb able to push the smaller brunette off, and step into right hands. By the final bell, Deb has Chae on the ropes, trying to slip the incoming. Deb with that cruel smile on her face, delights in working over Chae's Korean cheekbones, leaving her swollen and punchy at the bell.

R4: All Chae as she starts with the left hook to the body, but soon graduates to a pulsating attack from Deb's hips to her head. McMichael's floundering, draping her arms over the Asian while her body jerks from abuse, or covering up in front as Chae twists her torso into clubbing lefts and rights. Chae working the brawny arms of the blonde, and ending exchanges with merciless hooks to the breasts in this shutout round. At the bell, Deb wears a worn, hurting expression, and won't recover fully during the break.

R5: Deb responds like a champ, planting her feet wide, and letting her hands go. Chae a little loose defensively, catches right hands on the top of her head, and can't pressure Deb from close range this round.

R6: Brutal, back and forth exchanges as the girls rotate in a tight clockwise circle, trading hurtful hooks from medium distance. Deb finally breaks Chae's form with a pulverizing left hand to the pit of the belly, stunning the brunette and leaving her helpless. McMichael's gives with the shoulder and batters the Asian to the ropes with swinging lefts and rights. It's gut check time for Chae as she soaks up the first 'A' right hands in a 30 second torrent from Deb. McMichaels keeps slugging after the bell, then bodies up to taunt the swooning Chae until the ref intercedes.

R7: OH CHAE CAN YOU SEE! Chae, fighting through eyes swollen to slits, puts her head on Deb and beats those dynamite legs rubbery with an hellacious body barrage to open the seventh. Gurgling with pain, Deb folds to the ropes - grimacing, and giving it up to Chae as her defensive form crumbles. Debra can't fight going backwards, and Chae keeps the pressure on, turning her dancer's body into tight, curving punches from both sides and hammering Deb's face back and forth in between LOUD blows to the midriff. Big statement round as Chae continues punching after the bell, then goes chest to chest with a pouting Debra, trying to force eye contact while the blonde tries to avoid it.

R8: Debra's not the same. Still hurting, holding her gloves low, she is easily bulled backwards, and is helpless as Chae corkscrews into her. A banging series of curling right hands to the head has Debra glassy eyed, and shaky legged as she reels, just trying to stay on her feet. Chae in a groove, punching freely, chin up and open, but Deb can't pull the trigger. Round ends with a savage beating in the corner as Deb soaks it up to the bell.

R9: What's this? Debra showing heart? McMichael's, face bruised and battered, magnificent legs shot, steps into Chae and opens the 9th with a sensational toe to toe slugfest which rages for over a minute. No clinching. Debra ripping lefts and rights from a wide stance - Chae rolling with the punches then coming back hard to Deb's midriff. Midway through the round, Debra uncorks a crushing right uppercut that seems to make Chae drowsy, and she stumbles uncertainly forward while McMichael's takes the opportunity to clinch. Down the stretch, an arm weary Debra leans on Chae, letting the Asian paw her tummy with tired strokes to the bell.

R10: Debra looks heavy legged coming off her stool, and Chae easily walks her back into her own corner for a beating early. Chae digging into Debra with her forehead, puts that sick grimace of hurt back on McMichael's face as the brunette churns her fists into the blonde's waistline. In the final minute, Debra able to clinch, muscling Chae around to the ropes, pushing her deep into them, then pulling back suddenly to land a crushing right hand across the jaw. CHAE IS HURT! Chae sits on the ropes, mouth slack, face expressionless as she holds her gloves weakly in front of her face. Debra finds the strength to give Chae a heartless beating in the final minute, getting those legs behind withering lefts and rights that crash onto Chae's head and shoulder like boulders in a landslide. By the bell, Chae is still standing, but rocked and Debra thrusts her fists into the air in triumph. Short lived as the decision comes back a draw. As the decision is announced, Debra reaches over her trainer's shoulder to give Chae an uncalled for clout, and the riot ensues.

After: Chae extends the blonde KO artist the distance in a thrilling slugfest that really exposed McMichael's deficiencies for the first time. When Chae was able to smother the blonde inside, and get Deb backing up, the brunette dominated, even hurting the larger woman on several occasions. In the end, Deb's pride put her back in the fight late, and power shots made it impossible for Chae to compete down the stretch.
