Before: “Rachel Bilson hasn’t been to school yet,” affirms confident JLH. “She’s raw, she’s very young-everything about energy band recklessness with her. I’ve been that girl, so I know how far Rachel has to go, I’m going to take my time with her, really pick her apart--it’s going to be the most valuable beating of Rachel’s life. Jennifer in white string bikini, Rachel in retro red bikini, hipster bottoms white faux belt motif, slick low ponytail.

R1-4: Torrid negotiation phase--both girls attempting to impose will, style on the match in very close, hard to score stanzas, Jennifer stepping out, circling to her right with a fierce scowl in her face, popping her jab in doubles to the face and breasts of her foe, trying to keep her distance. Bilson negligent with her hand position--often at her hips, or gathered bat her chest--she’s hopping forward, swinging lusty--she’s most effective when she tightens up the stroke and puts punches together, temporarily swamping Hewitt’s defense. Both girls enjoy moments--Jen on the outside circling, stabilizing Rachel with jabs and dropping keen right hands--Bilson mauling Hewitt along the ropes, just putting leather on meat. All knotted after 4--both girls steamy with effort.

R5: Jennifer able to stand I the pocket and make Rachel miss with torso movement this round--Hewitt able to slip and counter effectively for the first time, Jen dipping low, coming up into the body of her foe under Bilson’s outrageous swings--visible effect after the first minute as Rachel’s output drops, lips turn down--she doesn’t like Hewitt getting up into that ribcage, Good, calm expression from Jen, stepping right, carving Rachel’s face with a scraping jab, sliding the right hand in behind it for sexy one-twos at the bell.

R6: Shutout Jennifer Love Hewitt--class starting to dominate as Bilson’s fury, energy abates, Rachel doing more snarling and posing on the outside--she’s spent a ton of fuel in one expensive assault after another and it’s catching up with her. Hewitt lively legged, stepping in a scolding jab to face, dipping low under the outraged Bilson right, coming back with a well placed right up into the sternum. Hewitt circling, scrubbing criss-criss against Bilson’s breasts while getting around her--good touch and go being played by Hewitt this round.

R7: More JLH consistency--she’s breaking Rachel down at this point. Hewitt able to put the jab anywhere she wants it, setting the table and finishing with right hands that are getting more4 serious with every passing minute. Bilson fla footed, staring into punishment more, eyes puffing up nicely--she’s not cutting off the ring, really drawing in her horns--just not applying enough pressure to disrupt Hewitt’s finely crafted attack. Jennifer stepping right and left, working angles--down the stretch, she bends into a glorious right hand on the jaw, threading it past Bilson’s raised left wrist. Rachel buckling, put wobbly butt for the first time in the fight--she’s hurt, ragged at the bell.

R8: Last ditch minute if fury from bilson as she momentarily forces leggy retreat on Hewitt, but Jen manages the ring, slowly bringing brunette to heel with spicy jab on the face--by the second minute Bilson’s subdued, inching forward, staying on the end of Jennifer’s punches, Jen sees the hurt, exhaustion in her foe’s eyes, starts mixing in the 3rd and 4th pitch. Left uppercuts chase slicing right hands, scoring cleanly off Bilson’s available chin. Right/left dig loud to ale Bilson gut, cramping up Rachel’s legs,. Tilting her over her feet to catch her breath. Scrubbing shoeshines on the breasts have Rachel sobbing, pitching forward--Hewitt able to sidestep, spin her girl to ropes and open up with a dazzling flurry late, Bilson helpless, head turned away, eyes closed, arms up, crossed plaintively at the wrists--Jen just sets her legs, starts pumping I straight lefts and rights, beating the shoulders, chest and left side of Rachel’s turned face until the ref steps in. Bilson teary-eyed, stopped out at the ropes--Hewitt delivering he lesson as promised. TKO8 JLH.

After: Beating as promised--Hewitt maturing into a total package flyweight showing skills, body punching, a little sock, good aggression. Little minx Bilson a game fighter, but she’s taken apart tonight--Hewitt’s a woman on a mission in this one.
