BEFORE: "We did check each other out in the Criminal Minds lot," Rachel admits in prefight, alluding to the fact that both stars are associated with the franchise. "Garrett's very hard to ignore - she's one of those girls with a calm face, but very aggressive body language - she's fascinating to watch. I know she's a terrific L.A. fighter, but she looked a little out of her depth against Serinda at the FCBA level. I think this is too much class, too soon for her, but hell: that's the way I did it! If Beau can take her lumps, and maintain her composure, maybe she can follow in my footsteps. From a few paces behind, of course!"

Garrett tranquil as always: 'taking lumps' does not appear to be part of her gameplan. "I think the producers at Criminal Minds summed up me and Rachel quite nicely," Garrett demures. "I got the lead on the new CM spin-off, while Rachel's got a supporting/recurring bit on the old show: obviously they felt that I'm the stronger performer, with more to offer in terms of ring-support for the show. Sucks for Rachel, but hey: this is hollywood, and Beau Garrett gets what she wants in this town."

Garrett supplementing her jab with a nasty slap-chopping left atop Rachel's jugs as well - sending a little message to veteran bra through 1.

R2: Similar hard punching from wide stances, at range - both girls emphasizing the left hand. Rachel punishing Garrett's breasts with spanking jabs in reprisal, as Beau continue to chop and cuff at the Nichols' bra. Both girls sprinkling in swift right hands off cuffing hooks: mirror image fighters taking mirror image risks as both chins get grazed by vicious crosses this round.

R3: Garrett shows defence - bobbing at her waist, moving her head to slip hard one-twos ticketed for her noggin. Rachel showing educated feet, recovering quickly off her misses - hopping out of range as Garrett triggers counters. Good, tense stuff: girls fighting classy, high percentage boxing - neither one taking the other for granted.

R4: Rachel's jab sets up spearing, palm-down rights sloped into Garrett's midsection: blonde girl driven off with stricken expression as Nichols' mitt spanks loud off torso. Rachel walking Beau down, but finding determined resistance at every stop: Garrett calm, collected behind her gloves, moving her head, answering back lanky to the body as Rachel closes distance. Nichols wants some of the body action - actively engaging Garrett shoulder to shoulder: sexy shoulders rotating as tall girls lap up tummy in trade. Bell: both fighters work late - ref pushes 'em apart as tempers flare.

R5: Both girls jabbing the hell out of each other, scoring to mouths, breasts, tummies with stiff poke. Midway through, Garrett capitalizes on the energetic fencing: side-slipping a Nichols jab to answer a swinging left to Rachel's chin, then as Nichols hangs her left hand out there, Beau chops her a right hand over redhead left shoulder. DOWN GOES RACHEL! Nichols scattered to all fours by impact behind the ear: she's rattled, taking her 8 all blinking eyes/parted lips. Final minute a thorough clean up of Rachel as Beau works her over ropeside: Garrett staying on the body, rolling shoulders/popping hips to lick in muscular, rangy wallops as Rachel sits, soaks. Bell: Garrett panting, forcing hard eye contact; grudging respect from Rachel as her ribs are nice and pink through 5.

R6: Stiff, hard, straight punches at distance: both girls just pounding away at opposing racks/faces. Crowd oohing and ahhing as one or the other gets lit up: big, spanking knocks bouncing off stunned, beautiful faces. Garrett hard eyed when she's scoring - driving into Rachel with tight-lipped malice. Rachel pursing her lips when she's punching Beau's face aside - Nichols leaning in, eager to follow up hard scores. Bell: both beauties stung, lumping up nicely - fighters bat right hands in acknowledgment of a truly savage two-way sixth!

R7: Same again - fully extended, vicious stuff from outside - girls working off the jab to drive home withering crosses. Blistering stuff - both girls rocked and walked down at points, but both stiffening and answering to avoid being rolled up. Down the stretch - bitter trading shoulder to shoulder sees RAchel curl a left uppercut up into Beau's sternum: Garrett grunting, bunching up on impact...probably just enough to cost her another too-close-to-call round.

R8: Oh those beautiful faces - all puffy and sore from the constant pounding jab/cross rhythm. Straight shots spiced up by the odd slip-and-counter hook to ribs; face-pounding punctuated by the odd slamming right to rack or breadbasket. Shocking damage not turning these girls into stumble-bums however: both fighters continue to show professional form - regrouping behind their jabs, keeping their hands up, setting their feet for the next blistering exchange.

R9: Gruesome, hard-punching war of attrition continues...girls coming off one another's faces with jab/cross routines to close distance, hup-it-up shoulder to shoulder. Bump-n'-dig a thing of sweaty beauty: neither girl shy about competing for every inch of canvas in close. Rache really turning over a tidy hook - clippin' it nice n' tight to Beau's breasts or face: Garrett taking these clouts, clapping away on RAchel's head/shoulders in return. Bell: girls are hard at it, each refusing to be the first to stop - ref has to push seething beauties apart.

R10: Same again - well-conditioned vixens jab-jab-jab their way in, then hunker down to reduce the other shoulder to shoulder. Rachel with that swatting, 6 inch little hook inside dominates Beau's breasts. Garrett's nasty right uppercut pumps at Rachel's tummy, or picks up her chin in close. Rache with a slapping lead hook on the right elbow, then a vicious pay-off hook in BEHIND the right elbow repeatedly digs at Beau, buckling her knees. Back and forth, bump and slug - rangy beauties won't back off, get tired, or quit trying to win this thing. BELL - comes back one point duke, Rachel Nichols!

After: Sprinkling of boos amidst the prevailing cheers for Rache; look of shock on Beau's punished face...all she remembers was beating Rachel to the canvas in the fifth. Nichols all class - going to the Garrett corner, shaking hands with every member of the team and giving Beau a hug: Garrett choked at another close loss, but classy enough to congratulate the winner. "She was definitely better tonight than she was against Serinda," a relieved Rachel Nichols says in postfight. "She was busier, more active, because she knows she let Swan outwork her, and Beau was determined not to let that happen again. Many times I thought I was going out, only to rally and take it to her - I don't know if I've ever been in that kind of sustained-exchange battle before. I know she put me down, but they score the rounds in professional prizefighting: you can't give it to her on the strength of one shining moment." Down, but not discouraged, Beau tells BLONDE! Magazine: "I'm just starting out and I'm pleased with what I've done in my first two FCBA fights, despite the losses. The truth is, I am disputing Rachel's victory over me. No disrespect to RAchel - she's a great fighter - but I know in my heart that I beat her, and I think she knows that too."
